The visuals immediately capture you as you walk in, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the start. The service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the drinks made by the bartender were excellent. The food did not disappoint either. We started with the garlic parmesan wings, which were incredibly flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. Next, we had the Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The Caesar salad portion was huge, easily enough for two people and probably even enough to share among four. The BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely delicious and a standout dish for us. I want to give a special shout-out to Carlos and the food runner working tonight. He was very friendly and made a point to check on us as he passed by to make sure everything was good. In my opinion, that kind of attentiveness is what separates average service from seasoned food and beverage professionals. For dessert, we ordered the churros, which had an amazing filling that instantly hooked us. Our 3- and 5-year-old also enjoyed their kids' meals, and the fact that each kids' meal includes a sundae was a great touch. We can't wait to return, this is definitely a spot worth trying read more

Went here on a recent vacation. We had the bbq Chicken pizza, Asian stir fry, tuna nachos, brisket Mac, and a fruity pebble sundae. Very cool atmosphere in this place. There are hundreds of guitars on the walls, many autographed. I ordered the fish and chips which was not very good. Mostly batter and the fish had no flavor. I really like this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, it's a really fun place to watch a game. Lots of huge televisions all over. The food is always good!! The spicy chicken sandwich is AMAZING!!!!! This place is awesome. Located near hwy 111/Jefferson st, this golf course clubhouse is open to the public with tons of rock memorabilia. Stage inside for live music and stand up. Nice patio overlooking the golf course and a decent beer wine and drink list. Certain dishes are really good (poke nachos) while others (sliders...more like mini sloppy joes) not so much. Service is usually pretty good but haven't been there when it's been super busy either. I'd rather visit a spot when it's not crowded. They would not seat our party of 10 out side, would only allow one bill and if paying with a credit card only accept one card. Asked kindly to have separate bills. Manger said no way absolutely not. Our server was awesome manager needs customers service training. Food was marginal at best. And expensive for the quality. Bar food at best. Food was great, loved the caesar salad and fried pickles. Unfortunately the service was mid. Server was okay but seemed busy in other places. The busser was very rude. Came up to the table and just started grabbing things and throwing them onto his tray. He was not nice. A better way is to ask "can I get these out of your way" but instead put himself in the middle of the table and our conversation, reaching over us to get our dishes out of the way without saying a word. When my grandmother asked if he wanted us to leave, he said "i'm just doing my job" but that's not how you deal with customers in the service industry. read more

I thought this was a unique place indeed for Indio, pretty much a Hard Rock Cafe on a smaller scale. Although the restaurant itself is rather large with many different areas - inside and outdoor patios. The decor is great with guitars all around the top perimeter and other rock memorabilia. On this Friday night, they had live music around 6pm and since we were sitting inside, it was a little loud and hard to talk to friends. Other than that the performers were good and sang songs in-line with the restaurants theme. On to the food/drink, pretty diverse menu and average pricing. I got the fish taco which was actually pretty large. Turns out it was also happy hour and got a house wine for about $5. I actually wanted their frozen drink special but the machine was unfortunately broken. We did venture outside to the patio afterwards which boasts a very nice view of the golf course (18th hole). The patio was spacious and you could either order at the bar or from the wait staff. Even out here after happy hour ended, drinks were very decently priced ($7 house wine and well drinks). Conclusion: Fun place to go for entertainment, food and drinks. read more

This is a neat place in the desert. It's similar to a Hard Rock Cafe. We were able to be seated immediately (it was around noon on a Saturday) and there were 7 of us. They have a variety of food options. I opted for the bare wings and they were very good (a little over seasoned, but good). They have a nice drink list as well. read more

I have to admit ... this place isn't typically "my vibe" but I come here for the Thai salad which is spectacular. The lettuce is crisp and vibrant, the dressing has a perfect balance of tangy and sweet, and the chicken is remarkably juicy, tender, and expertly seasoned. The rock 'n' roll decor, which might seem kitschy at first glance, actually adds a playful and nostalgic charm to the space. Vintage concert posters, signed guitars, and memorabilia create a fun, energetic backdrop that tells stories of musical history. It's like dining in a mini rock museum that keeps the atmosphere light and entertaining. I stopped drinking a while back, so I find myself occasionally looking on wistfully as patrons share drinks and camaraderie. We've been to the Big Rock many times, driving all the way from Beaumont, CA. Normally, we spend a few hundred dollars on appetizers, pizza, and drinks -- the food is always great. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere have really gone downhill. Our waitress never came back to check on us after taking the first order. We had to flag her down just to get another drink and order a pizza. She didn't seem happy about it either -- she was more interested in chatting with the bartender. But here's the best (or worst) part -- the music was RAP. This is supposed to be a Rock 'n' Roll memorabilia pub, yet they were blasting RAP music! We asked the manager if he could switch it to rock, and his response was, "It was playing this when I came in, and I don't know how to change it." He said we'd have to wait until the GM came in at 7 p.m. -- it was 1:30 in the afternoon on a Friday! Then the hostess told us, "You should come back at 7 p.m., we're having a live band." When I asked who was playing, she said, "Not sure, all I know is it's a country band." Country? At a rock pub? No thanks. I checked their website later and saw that same country band listed for several upcoming weeks. It's like going to Rock & Brews and hearing rap -- it just doesn't fit the vibe. Fun place to check out! Tons of rock memorabilia....like, tons! They have plenty of seating indoors and outside overlooking the golf course. The menus came in side of rock album covers, which was fun. We came during happy hour on a Wednesday night. The restaurant wasn't too full and we were seated right away at a hightop table. The service was quick and we got our drinks promptly. For appetizers, we ordered the barbecue ranch, deviled eggs and the pickle spears. Both were crowdpleasers. The deviled eggs I would even attempt to make at home, I liked them that much. The pickled red onion on top added a lot of flavor. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, which I really enjoyed! The Thai dressing added a lot of flavor and the wontons added good crunch. It had a good amount of cashews as well. I would order it again. Hubs got the sloppy Joe grilled cheese with fries. It was one of the best sandwiches he's had in a while. For dessert we ordered churros and Bananas Foster. The churros were filled with vanilla. They were good, not great. The golf course may be relatively cheap, but don't let that fool you. They keep the greens immaculate and they are running about 10 The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean. After you're done with your round, the pub outback has a view of the golf course and it's really quite nice. They have a nice tap with a bunch of beers. I'm coming back real soon. I do golf a lot of places that are really nice and this one really ranks with one of the top places in the desert I gotta say. read more
