    Chicken Alfredo

We had dinner at Foxy's on a Thursday evening, The ambiance is eclectic, cool, and fun. A great desert evening vibe. During the season, it's tough to get a prime reservation hour for dinner. So, reserve your table in advance. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating, even when the restaurant is full. In the front dining room, there is entertainment. Unfortunately, our table was away from front room and along the outer area. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce is creamy with sun dried tomatoes. My dinner with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon was good. I plan to return here for dinner next season .

Service here was wonderful. I absolutely love the vibe here and the staff is extremely welcoming. They have a great happy hour, some of the best prices in town. They're delicious bread and butter to start was delightful. They have a nice variety of drinks available, and there is plenty of seating in easy parking all around. This restaurant has a great family vibe to it, a place worth returning for because of the hospitality nice option for a late dinner in the area.

Great happy hour, friendly staff. We tried the fried zucchini....yum and the tacos too! It's a bustling little upscale place with valet parking and repeat customers.

All around a 5 ...this place exemplifies a top notch business! It makes you feel appreciated to do business with them...treat their customers with utmost respect with attention to the details...valet at the door with pleasant greeting to hold the door open..welcome staff at the maitre'd desk...servers politely and pleasant! Food and drinks impeccably prepared and served.

Excellent choice! I felt like I stepped into the days of Frank Sinatra. The leather seating, mirrors on the wall and the live entertainment. So classic. Our service was superb . Laura E. made great recommendations. We started with the most tastiest stuffed mushrooms ever. I tried the Osso Buco, wow so much food. That pork melted in my mouth. My guy enjoyed the Mediterranean halibut. Dessert kept the streak going with the carrot cake. Spirited drinks especially Mrs. Foxy's lemon drop. Love this place!

    Yummy fresh pasta

Let's start off with our server, super great guy, but I don't remember his name, I'm sorry. The chicken Parmesan was the best I've had in decades. Very fresh and crispy and practically melted in my mouth. I took more than half of it home. My husband had the chicken fettuccine with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. He ate the entire thing. We were here when it was "Shame on the moon "restaurant.

We were in Rancho Mirage for an event that we were attending Saturday night Prior to driving out for the weekend, we had looked at a couple of different locations to have dinner Saturday night My wife came across Foxy's and said we should try it since it had great reviews on Yelp. And the restaurant did not disappoint! The ambience is incredible (we sat inside in a corner booth with an open shot of the entire restaurant ) We started off with cocktails. I had an old-fashion and my wife had a wine that was suggested by our server, Amelia. Amelia was absolutely fantastic! I had the 12oz ribeye and added a lobster tail, my wife had the salmon with lemon sauce (pictures below). Everything was made perfect! We had the carrot cake as a dessert and it was absolutely incredible! When we mentioned how good it was to Amelia, she told us that it's homemade by her mother who also happens to be the owner of Foxy's. Foxy's Kitchen and Bar will be our spot from here on out whenever we are back in the area. Amelia, thank you again for the great service!

WOW. Dinner at Foxy's Kitchen + Bar was nothing short of phenomenal. I'm beyond grateful I discovered this place, it is hands down one of the top two or three restaurants in the entire valley, no question. The chicken piccata was out-of-this-world amazing, and the clam chowder? Honestly life-changing. Every bite was perfection. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the owner personally came by to introduce himself--such a warm, genuine person, which made an already incredible night even better. I cannot wait to come back and bring my family because this place deserves to be shared. Foxy's has officially become my new go-to, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know. Absolute gem.

I am giving foxy's kitchen and overall rating of five stars because the service and the ambience are outstanding. From the moment we arrived the valet gentlemen was so nice and our server, Janice was so sweet and efficient. We loved the beautiful atmosphere. It was so nice of them to let us know that they have happy hour from 4 to 6 in the Dining Room in the summer up until September. We thought that we were just coming to dinner at 5 o'clock but then we got to order our drinks for $11 and an appetizer of fried zucchini for $10 that was excellent. They also served sourdough bread which was probably the best I have had in a long time along with the real butter which is hard to find nowadays. So it's good to know that summer is a real plus price wise if you order drinks and a starter before 6 o'clock. Mom loved her chicken and pasta dish. My husband and I ordered the Pescatori which we only thought was OK. I think that dish could use a little more work on their part. We are definitely coming back and we will try a different entrée next time we loved the flowerless chocolate cake, however, the coconut cream pie did not have much flavor. FYI

We find ourselves coming back time and time again because everything is consistently exceptional. The food, the atmosphere, and the service. The menu truly offers something for everyone, and one item we never skip is the seafood tower. It's beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and the perfect way to start the meal. Whether you choose to dine at the bar or in the main dining room, you can expect the same attentive, top-tier service. While the atmosphere differs between the two, each offers its own unique and equally enjoyable experience. EVERYTHING! We were early so stopped at a bar and Dave got a Makers Mark w/Ginger ale. Loved it and the price! Played a bit of poker (machine) and then it was time for the Steakhouse. We were greeted by the sweetest young lady (and I'm mad because I can't remember her name). She was there throughout the evening and was delightful. She filled our water glasses and brought a giant basket of assorted bread. I had to try them all and each bread sample was a new experience. The butter-2 kinds-soft and tasty. Then we got our drinks. Dave got a bourbon blackberry smash. Loved it. I got a pineapple lemon drop. Loved it and the pineapple garnish was an experience all its own. Dave's surf and turf was fillet and lobster tail. Both cooked perfectly. He hardly even needed a knife to cut the fillet AND the lobster was perfect on its own but when he dipped it into the melted butter it was even more satisfying. I'm vegetarian and was pleased with the number of options for me. I opted for the bucatini and it was so great. I only ate half of it since I knew I really only wanted the carrot cake. Andrew, our server, brought Dave a birthday cheesecake and it was very nice. But he had to try the key lime pie and it was perfect and sour (in the best way). The meringue was sky high and perfectly torched. The crust?? The best. If you want the carrot cake, you need to let them know ahead of time since it takes about 15 minutes. Was it worth the wait? YES IT WAS. It's hot out of the oven in a tiny skillet, topped with the creamiest ice cream. I'm a baker and super picky about baked goods and the folks at The Steakhouse know what they're doing. Everything about our experience here was the kind that makes you want to return. This is the perfect Special Occasion venue. Pricey yes. Worth it? Also yes.

Our group started out with the above mentioned Pulpo Chicharrones. Crispy Octopus bites served with fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, and flour tortilla chips. The octopus had a charred crispy exterior that gave way to a buttery-tender interior. None of the rubbery texture that so often turns people off. For entrees, we selected the Whole Fried Huachinango (Red Snapper), 7 Oceanas (think "Spanish Chioppino"), and Pan Seared Halibut which was the special of the day. The halibut special featured a very generous pan seared filet on a bed of white wine risotto with a sesame seed veloute and asparagus. The 7 Oceanas consisted of perfectly cooked octopus, white fish, clams, mussels, shrimp, salmon, and scallop in a rich broth with tomato, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, and guajillo peppers. Served with housemade telera bread sticks to sop up the amazing broth. The snapper was deep fried to perfection leaving the skin super crispy and fleah moist and flaky. Drizzled with an adobo sauce and served with grilled sliced lemons, chayote squash and baby potatoes. Our only complaint was the snapper was not true red snapper as advertised, but rather porgy (we think). Red snapper is one of the most substituted fish and very few people in the world could tell them apart. My partner Ernie is a connoisseur, and he can. The dish was still excellent, we just wish it wasn't advertised as Huachinango. This hidden gem delivered fresh seafood, tasty cocktails with a nod to tequila and mezcal drinks crafted by owner Marco Castellanos, and friendly attentive service from Gina.

Our waiter initially said he would be willing to cut the checks however we wanted, which we did. As he finished taking our order, he walked into the main entry door way and gave a large sigh saying "Ayayay" as if he was bothered that we requested separate checks. I turned his way and saw that he was caught with his sigh. That left a bad taste for our party during the meal. We eventually let that go, and when it was time for dessert, we ordered 2 desserts, and before we gave him the 2 desserts we wanted, our server sarcastically stated with an attitude, "Who is paying for the desserts?".
