Sooo refreshing. Must try! Red Bull Mint Spritz

The ambience was amazing, the music was great, and the entire place was very aesthetically pleasing. Our bartender, Adam, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect drinks. We also had such a great conversation with the owner, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We only wish we hadn't eaten before arriving because we would've loved to try the food! They also have a rooftop bar at night, so we'll definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful restaurant. From the moment you walk in you can tell a lot of thought and time was taken to curate an elevated vibe. The young woman who greeted us was kind and friendly. She was able to get us a glider outside without a reservation. Our server Jacob was delightful and the gentleman who came around with water was the sweetest. We ordered the pomodoro pasta, the porkchop and the salmon plus three drinks and the price point was consistent with the rest of Palm Springs. We had some feedback that we shared with the manager and he very kindly listened and we appreciated that he made time for us.

What an unexpected evening. My wife and I were celebrating our 2nd year anniversary in Palm Springs this weekend. As we walked around, we found these amazing fire heater and we were like, "we haven't seen this the last time we came here" and decided to try it. Let's say it's vibey. It's a new restaurant that opened up 2 months ago and we got to just enjoy the deliciousness of the meal. My wife got the cioppino and I got the meatloaf. The good was stellar. The vibes were running high. And the evening was just perfect. Our server Angel was kind hearted and a spectacular server. He also made our experience.

Large group Saturday night dinner, no wait time. We stumbled upon this restaurant as our first choice had too long of a wait time. The decor is very California coastal vacation vibes. Cute outdoor seating. They have salads, pastas, and classic mains like salmon, rib eye, meatloaf, pork chop, and burger. The pasta dish portion is a good size and you can choose which pasta type you prefer- penne, angel hair, linguine, and fettuccine. They also have a 21+ rooftop bar nextdoor if you're feeling like staying out longer.

Great new place in this longtime Palm Springs location. The food is very good and the cocktails are well-made. I particularly enjoyed the After Glow. They are still working through some of the new restaurant quirks, but you can tell they are actively learning from any issues, resolving them and improving. You can sit either inside in the nicely, decorated and somewhat romantic dining room, where you could sit out on the outdoor patio. One of the features of the patio are the glider seats that have been here through various businesses. So come here and have a wonderful evening. But one word of caution, be careful while eating soup on the glider seats when you're dining partners are moving the gliders back-and-forth.

    Pork chop was excellent!

I'm really bummed to even mention this, but tonight was a really disappointment from our first two times. I think they're cutting corners on staff and food costs for the summer crowd, because frankly, the food was bland, the pork chop was overcooked, and the bartender was overwhelmed due to a shortage of staff. We even sat at the bar to give the bartender some customers and after waiting for a while we had to cancel our last round of drinks to leave as it took too long and had finished our meal . I've had a better meal on a plane. I'm sad because I really recommended this place to others when asked where to eat in Palm Springs but I've changed my mind...can't wait for John Henry's to reopen after the summer hiatus.

Stumbled upon Sunset while walking the strip and was very happed that we did. The hostess was friendly and nice, she seated us in one of the carriage swings outside and it couldn't have been a better seat. Very charming and romantic. Our server was the best! Her name escapes me but she is from Guadalajara and her service was simply great! For food we ordered the Cioppino and the Salmon, both were delicious but the Cioppino deserves a special mention because it was phenomenal!

Came without a restaurant and got lucky to be seated at a swinging table on the patio. What a fun and interesting concept. we had seen this the day prior, and it looked so fun and inviting we decided to try for a Sunday brunch after our walking tour during modernism week. The restaurant is quite lovely and diverse. The inside is a very chic city, vibe, elegant, refined, and call me. The outside is a lovely garden patio with small tables and the swinging golf cart like booths. I love the ambience of both inside and outside seating. Food & Drinks- Quite a few specialty drinks to choose from I had the daydream which was very good . Chicken and waffles were ok. Calamari also ok, a bit too chewy(border rubbery). Husband ordered the surf and turf Benedict w/potatoes. Very tasty. The service was a bit slow. Our waiter seemed very green but he was pleasant and had a good attitude so I'm sure he'll just need more time to acclimate to serving. Overall, I loved the restaurant and would go back again to try a few more menu options and of course, another cocktail .

Happen to walk into this restaurant and was able to seated right inside. Outside was packed and had no seating. Super beautiful inside and great ambiance. Service was okay the waiter was nice. We got the meatloaf and the sole. Both dishes were really great and finished both plates. The berry drop I got was great but the Mai tai was not good and would not recommend. I wish the menu was a bit bigger didn't have many options. I think most people come here for the outdoor seating and drinks. Don't think we will be back but it was a nice dinner.

We had dinner last night Sunset restaurant. Beautiful restaurant, excellent food. I hope you try it out, won't be disappointed.

The escargot was beautifully prepared and made even better by the perfectly char-grilled baguette that came alongside it. The steak tartare was an absolute flavor bomb with great seasoning, especially paired with the house-made potato chips. It leaned a touch salty, but in a way that made it the perfect appetizer and somehow had us ordering another round of cocktails. The grilled artichokes were simple, smoky, and delicious. The red curry mussels were served with that same incredible bread and an aromatic, deeply flavorful broth that we didn't want to leave behind. The smoked pork chop was another standout--beautifully charred on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside. Beyond the food, the service was fabulous, attentive, but not rushed. Well this one, located in the Arena area of Palm Springs. Theres no name or signs anywhere. You just have to know where to look. Try opening doors and see which one opens. We were walking back to the car when I noticed the doors. As l had heard so much about it but didn't know where it was. Well lucky me, I opened the door with the first try. I had an idea on where it was but didn't know where. That's where the 4 stars come in. As I had the door open, I could hear from the bar area a gentleman yelling out shut the door. Ok, I get the dark hidden concept but yelling out like that, kind of rude. Do you not want people in. It was about 11pm when we walked in. You enter and it's a dark hallway straight to the bar. That'll be what you see right when you walk in. Place is covered in a dark damask wallpaper and only light are small fixtures. So dark and demure. Bar area is the main attraction with all the seating. There's a few hi tops along the wall as well as some seating in the back area. I'm not sure how big the place is as we only went straight to the bar and sat down. The menu is printed to resemble vintage newspaper. The dark mysterious room with tufted seats and dim lights is what this place is all about. But of course you can't leave out the drinks. Centered of the bar wall, there's Udo Kier watching you. Anyways, down to the drinks. Printed on the newspaper was a perfect touch. I went with the pisco sour and we had the bartender make something else with mescal. An updated smoke and mirror I believe. Drinks were excellent which we expected. The whole place is really dark and mysterious which was a nice touch. It wasn't that busy when we arrived Friday night. A couple of people in the back area which we definitely could hear...lol... There was no list to get in as we just walked in. The only downfall with the rating, the rude remark when we walked in with shutting the door all the way from the bar area. Yes we heard it from outside. There were two bartenders working , but we did chat with one of them and she was a sweetheart. Informed us that they too will be closed down for the summer holiday but will be renovating. Places out here closes at least a month for summer holidays and with the slow season due to the heat. First impression of this place, besides the rude remark was we really liked it. We tend to come for them mainly but have never tried dinner here. Of course the bubbly is always a good start. A bottle with three juice options and fresh fruit for adornment. Strawberries and blueberries for the bougie bubbly effect. And for the price, it's worth it. Food wise, we went with the chicken sandwich with salad and the burger with fruit. A side of fries is definitely a must even if it comes with it. Portion for the sandwich was massive. Nice thick piece of grilled and marinaded chicken breast filled with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and avocados on toasted bread. It's massive even when they sliced it in halves. And the burger, two nice patties with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and bacon. A classic and it was delicious. I'm not a burger person but every now and then a bite is worth it. The food has alway been excellent. Crowd is alway nice and bubbly. It's cute chit chatting with the other guest nearby. Also we found out that they close for about two months in July and August as that's their holiday time. Glad we made it before it happened. It's a nice place for brunch as it's alway our go to whenever we can't figure out something.

We had the strangest experience here. We were in town for a friends 40th and we had seen great…read morereviews about The Thirsty Palms. We walked up, no reservation. The lady at the door told us inside would probably be loud because there were two bigger tables in there. It was hot outside, so we decided to sit inside anyway. We almost immediately regretted that and wished we'd sat outside. This place is not made for being busy on the inside. It's just too loud. But, cute in there. Our server, who we later learned was the bartender and not a usual server, took our drink orders. A few of us ordered the Hugo spritz, one gal got a beer, and a few other cocktails were ordered. We got our drinks and they were enjoyable. The problem began when we were ordering food. One girl in our group is Celiac and literally can not eat gluten. She ordered the salmon and asked to be sure the potato salad was gluten free. If things are fried or prepared in the same place as gluten objects, she is incredibly ill for weeks afterwards. She has to be super careful. His response was, "I think so." She told him she was celiac and had a true gluten allergy, and she needed him to be sure. Meanwhile, the menu boasts about how they proudly serve gluten free options right on the bottom. He then said, "yeah, I'm pretty sure it is." He genuinely did not seem concerned. She ended up ordering it but felt uncomfortable about whether or not it was really safe for her. Another girl at the end of the table asked him to please double check, as it was really a serious allergy. He said, "Yeah I am going to ask the chef. I wasn't going to just ignore it and make all you girls mad." He had the snarkiest tone when he said it, and it was incredibly, incredibly rude. That right there gave us a bad taste in our mouths. He came back out and said he checked with the chef, and it was indeed gluten free. Food came out and all tasted good. But when a restaurant prides itself on gluten free options, and then makes it so hard to order, it's not a good look. We wouldn't be back.

I forgot his name but the bartender was very nice and you could tell he likes his job. We got there and ordered a drink, and we're lucky enough to get a free order of some delicious bread sticks. It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
