Rib eye tacos and Olga's sushi roll.
    Lisa S.

Upon entering into this restaurant, we received a warm welcome. We asked for a few recommendations for what we should order. We were told the tacos were amazing, a few of the sushi rolls were described as delicious. so we decided to order the ribeye tacos and the Olga's sushi roll. Before our food came, we had the most delicious Caesar salad. One of the best I've had in a really long time. I can't remember the last time I had a meal that was so delicious. The ribeye was tender and seasoned perfectly and sat on a bed of fresh guacamole nestled into homemade corn tortillas. The sushi roll was fresh with a hint of Ponzo and lemon. It was delightful! I don't know if I've ever had a drink as yummy as the Jamaica con guayaha. This restaurant deserves five stars.

Went on a date night and the decor of the place is very suitable for a date night. We were greeted promptly and the service was very attentive throughout the whole dinner without being overwhelmed. We were offered some suggestions for an appetizer. We tried their grilled octopus and guacamole which was delicious. Continued with their poke nachos and and ahi tuna and salmon tower. The portions were VERY generous. Husband had a chavela which was great! I enjoyed Jamaica guayaba beverage that was also delicious. Definitely recommend. On the pricey side but worth it. Didn't get to try their dessert as we were quite full but a near by table had their churros and ice cream and it looked delicious. I look forward to coming back.

Place is hard to find and you wouldn't know it was there. It's definitely a hidden gem! Had shrimp tacos and chicken enchiladas. BOTH DELICIOUS. The Michelada was so good, in fact perfect! I wish I lived in this area because I would frequent the restaurant!

So happy we tried this place. Everything about this place was great. Service, ambiance and more importantly the food. The Cerviche Tostada was refreshing and well done. The Olga roll (didn't expect that) was light and all the flavors were excellent. The winner of course were the prime tacos. We tried the corn cake for dessert which was nice. Will definitely come back as the food is all very well appointed and unexpected. Will even be better when they get their liquor license. They do serve wine.

We came for brunch and it was so delicious. I got the chilaquiles w/ skirt steak, which aren't traditional, the "chips" are more like corn tortilla quesadillas with crispy edges. The steak was tender and well seasoned. The waitress took a while to bring out a knife, but the meat was tender enough that I made do with two forks. lol. It was very good and a different take on a classic. My husband got the Barbacoa de Res. He said it was good, tender and the consumme was great. It came with perfect handmade corn tortillas, rice, beans and onion/cilantro/lime on the side. My two boys shared over easy eggs, bacon and a side of fruit. They ate it all, which for toddlers can be rare. We had no leftovers! Will definitely return...we want to try the dinner menu. I do hope they stock more high chairs as they only had one. Otherwise, great experience.

Truly a cute place. The decor is comfortable, classy and fun. Great ambiance! We had the asparagus and edamame starters and they were amazing. Rib eye tacos were next level, my son loved the Birria tacos and my husband loved the sushi. Overall great experience, loved everything! Has big screens which we loved but wished maybe music playing in the background instead of listening to the soccer game. I guess if you love soccer but we just don't! A silent soccer game would have been better...

The food was delicious. When you walk in the place is beautiful, music playing but not too crazy. Kathy was an excellent server and everything was perfect! Highly recommend for good food and a good vibe.

Rating: Stop what you're doing and book a table here! We brought a group of five in for Ladies' Night, and from the moment we stepped inside, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous--an aesthetic dream! Finding a spot this stunning that stays open late is a total "desert miracle." The Service Despite our group size, we were sat promptly. The service was top-tier; Nadia and Pamela were incredible! They were attentive, professional, and made sure our night felt special from start to finish. The Drinks & Eats The Dragon Fruit Lemonade: Honestly, so superb! It was the perfect, vibrant refreshment to kick off the night. The Octopus Guacamole: This was a total showstopper. The addition of the octopus was unique and made it literally to die for. Don't skip this! The Chile Güeros: We had to add these to the table, and they were the perfect savory kick. So flavorful and perfectly prepared! The Rolls: We started with Olga's Rolls, and wow--they were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The Pasta Alfredo: Total comfort food--rich, creamy, and "yum" in every bite. The Pasta Chipotle: A total flavor bomb! It definitely has a serious kick--it was a bit spicy for me, but the rest of the girls were totally unphased and loved it. If you're looking for a late-night gem with amazing vibes, incredible service, and food that hits the spot, this is it. We'll definitely be back!

There were a lot of breakfast options, from specialty pancakes and waffles to unique omelets and Mexicandishes like Chilaquiles. I got the Biancasada omelet, which has carne asada, peppers, onions and cheese. It is served with your choice of side (I got potato wedges) and bread (I subbed the grilled peach specialty pancake). The omelet was ok...the carne asada wasn't great and the other ingredients could have been cooked more. The wedges were good, but I didn't like the grilled peach pancake as much as I thought I would and wished I would have got the lemon blueberry. Portions were big, and I took half to go. Hubby got the chorizo con papas omelet with hash browns cooked extra crispy and a buttermilk pancake. The omelet was really good, and the hash browns were cooked well. The pancake was a pancake. They only have Pepsi products, so I went with water, which they refilled well. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they had Hawaiian music playing. I'd come back to try lunch. The sandwiches and burgers coming out looked good.

The rooms are slightly dated. Not disastrous. Not horror story energy. Just giving we have seen a few seasons. You can tell the property wants a little refresh in some spots. Very White Lotus if White Lotus had a more budget-conscious cousin. The pool was clean though, and that goes a long way. Especially when you are at a family-friendly place and one bad pool moment can ruin the whole trip. The bowling alley and games for kids were honestly a strong save. That part gives the property some real personality. It is the kind of setup that keeps children entertained and keeps adults from having to hear "what are we doing now" every eleven minutes. The staff was amazing. Warm. Helpful. On it. That was probably the best part of the stay. They gave the whole experience more polish than the building sometimes had on its own. Good staff can carry a property far, and they definitely did some heavy lifting here. The gym is really small, and it could use an update bad. A few newer machines and a little more space would make a huge difference. Right now it feels like an afterthought. Like they remembered fitness at the very end and said okay put two something somewhere and let God handle the rest. The bar and food were decent. Perfectly fine. Nobody at the table was offended. Nobody was composing love letters either. It was the kind of meal you eat, nod at, and then fully forget by the next afternoon. Not bad. Not brag-worthy. Just there. Overall, this is a great stay with some fun family-friendly perks, a clean pool, and great staff holding it all together. It is not luxury-luxury. Instead, the experience became one of the most upsetting resort stays we've had. While actively swimming in the La Paloma pool with our children, a large amount of brown material suddenly blasted out of a pool jet directly in front of us and spread into the water. It genuinely looked like sewage or waste coming into the pool. We immediately got out along with other guests and attempted to get answers from staff, but no one could clearly explain what had happened or reassure us that the pool was safe. Because of that, we no longer felt comfortable using ANY of the resort pools for the rest of our stay -- which completely ruined the primary reason we booked this resort in the first place. We left extremely disappointed and honestly sad that our Mother's Day and anniversary trip turned into stress and discomfort instead of a relaxing family vacation. Three days later, I also became extremely sick, which only added to the concern surrounding the incident. Management later emailed us claiming it was "filter media sand" from a backwash issue and not waste. They waived our parking and resort fees, but considering we essentially lost use of the main amenity we paid to enjoy, that did not feel like an appropriate resolution. We respectfully reached out requesting either compensation for the room or the opportunity to return for a future stay so we could actually experience the resort the way we intended to. We never even received a response. For a resort at this price point and under the Westin/Marriott name, the handling of this situation and the lack of customer care afterward was incredibly disappointing.

For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California!
