Our food and our family enjoying a great meal..
    Brian J.

We take a family trip to Palm desert every year, and this is our dinner spot. They always accommodate our large group of 25, and the service is amazing!! The food is also amazing and it's always a great experience. This restaurant is part of our family tradition trip. See you next year, or sooner

Quick stop in while running errands hit the spot! My friend ordered a taco and shrimp cocktail. She said her taco was good, but the shrimp was fantastic! It's her go-to when she comes here. I ordered a sope. It was piled with lettuce and cabbage, with a bit of beans and meat beneath. It had a lovely presentation. It was good. The chips had two varieties in the basket; a thicker kind while the other was thinner, like they'd blended two batches. Our waiter was very diligent, checking on us frequently. Overall, a nice pop in, grab a quick lunch, and be on our way.

    My favorite: "Huevos Rancheros" bkfst!

Everything went as usual: Perfect. The usual cleanliness, food consistency, and great customer service. Reason why we keep on coming back... I had to repeat the Celina's chile relleno. Delicious! Has anyone tried their other location down the 111? Oceana is the name, and you will not regret trying them as well. Trust me.

Cameron Diabla. Not too spicy. Way too much sauce. Not my favorite.

Located in cathedral city, this hole in the wall is consistently busy with locals and tourists alike. The service is welcoming and friendly. We barely beat the dinner rush and were immediately seated as we arrived at 5pm on a weeknight. Guess people eat early at the dessert. We ordered the burrito, a combo plate of enchiladas/taco, and the shrimp Diablo. The price of $12 for a good size burrito was excellent. We'd come back for the burrito for sure.

I LOVE this place! We have made it tradition to come every year when we are in town for Modernism week. The staff is amazing and they always remember us and take great care of us. Our server George Michael has the same name as our cat, so obviously we had to take a picture The shrimp Diablo & shrimp charboil are our favorites. The Queen of the kitchen, Miss Selena, makes everything to perfection See you again next year!

Coming to Salsa's when in town is a must! Food is delicious and drinks are on point. I remember the days this place had NO AC! Now it's remodeled and nice and cool. Our fave Mexican restaurant!

If you're looking for delicious affordable, authentic Mexican food in Coachella Valley, this is a local gem. Right next to the Agua Caliente Cathedral City Casino. This restaurant is centrally located and has plenty of parking. Monday night was a packed house and we were pleasantly greeted and able to wait at the bar and have a drink while a table opened up. Seafood is very fresh and I highly recommend their specialty cocktails.

The food here has always been consistently good except for my last visit to where the chips were just a little bit stale. But everything else was delicious. The service was a little bit slow, but not going to ding them on that as we chose to sit outside and we're the only table outside. Otherwise a solid Mexican spot to check out.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. I stopped in here tonight for a quick bite. It was great! The place is a busy local place with lots of regulars. I had two tacos, including a delicious Al pastor taco. I had a nice chili rellenos , the breading was a little thick, and the tomato sauce was a little on the mild side. And I had a delicious shrimp and creamy poblano sauce that was yummy. The chips and salsa were excellent. The service was great. I had a nice time.

A hidden gem in Cat City. Their food is amazing and fresh, the wait staff all friendly and you've gotta try the dragonfruit margarita!

Second year in the Coachella. Second year to eat here. This place is fantastic in every way! (Ok, 1 thing to improve--enlarge it. There can be a wait although it is worth it.). We love this place and if we lived here, would eat here weekly. Food is perfect. We started with queso with chorizo. Served hot with handmade tortillas. And, finally, chorizo that isn't overly salty and no grease. They make it in-house (owner stopped by and we talked about it). I had chile relleno and brisket taco. I judge Mexican restaurants on these dishes. And this place rates A+. Buddy had shrimp in ranchero sauce. He raved about it especially how fresh the shrimp were. This place has many seafood dishes. Their chips and salsa are both above the norm. If you're in the area, just go here! Better yet- this is a locals place which is nice. Friendly and efficient service.

This is the taco shop locals recommend. The A La carte menus has reasonably priced street tacos, enchiladas and tostadas. Street tacos are delicious. I also had a delicious Jamaica (hibiscus) margarita.

Always on the hunting for taco Tuesday. It's hard for some reasons as there's not many places that…read morepromote taco Tuesday. I've seen places that supposedly offered it but I get there, it's a whole different concept of it. Well, I may have found one that's worth it. Plus a lot of places do close early on Tuesday's and Wednesday. Also not open those days as they tend to be more mellows. Anyway, we found this place last minute. It's part of a strip mall with a few other Mexican restaurants surrounding it. Once inside, there's a bar to the left right by the door when you walk in. Restaurant is to the right where the main seating area is. There's also a back area but it was utilize for a private party that night. At first we were kind of iffy as there was barely anyone there but since we were here already it was a go. The waitress was quite friendly and very sweet. Throughout the while dining experience, they constantly checked up on us to see how the food was and if we needed anything else. Made sure we were taken cared of and enjoyed our experience. Then comes the menu, quite a lot of dishes that you would typically get at a Mexican restaurant and some that seem to be new. The birria ramen which lately have been seeing at loads of Mexican restaurant. Of course as it was Tuesday, we came for the tacos. Before you walked in, there's a board that says tacos Tuesday, 4 tacos for 10.00. Thats a deal that's worth it. Either chicken, al pastor, chorizo and buche. Of course that was needed. We wasn't quite sure what buche was so opted out from that. Started off with a cold beer as they have draft and price was quite nice. 2 order of the tacos, one with 2 chicken and 2 al pastor while the other was 2 al pastor, 1 chorizo and 1 chicken. When the dish came out, it was well plated. You usually see just the tacos alone but it was plated with slices of cucumber, radish, grilled onions and grilled chili peppers. Quite nice. And of course I had to try their birra ramen. Seems lately that Mexicans restaurant are incorporating that dish to their menu. I'm also on the hunt for the best...lol... This dish too was quite tasty. Pretty decent bowl full of broth and loads of meat. Served with a side of onions and cilantro and lime slices. The color was nice. Had a dish a while back where the color of the broth was pretty light and watery. This place was nice. The tacos were very tasty both the chicken and al pastor which also had slices of pineapple added. Chicken was flavorful and chorizo was goods. Onions and cilantro also added but asked beforehand if we wanted them. Beforehand, three different salsa was brought out, spicy medium and mild. Wow, both the spicy (red) and medium (green) were delicious. The right amount of spicy and perfect for the tacos. Food was delicious both the ramen and tacos. It's with the 10.00 for the four tacos and birria ramen was tasty and delicious. Worth it. Glad that we found this place. And the staff, all very sweet and very friendly. Attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Didn't have room for dessert but will definitely be back. We got seated at one of the booth which literally looked a lot to the men's restroom. It was fine but not a thing you want to see while eating.

Anyway, we made it for dinner Saturday night. When we arrived, the patio seating was pretty much open as everyone wanted inside seating with the heat going on. They do have the mister on full blast if you wanted to be outside which people did utilized it half an hour after we arrived. There's a couple of hi top tables and seating at the bar area but main seating is the kitchen counter. It's like the chefs table. You're literally watching them cook and interacting with them. I love it there. The service is alway great and the staff are always amazing and friendly. It's like family getting together when we walk in. Of course you have the two brothers Ruben and Ozzys taking good care of everyone. The main counter where we like seats about 10 or so people and it all looks into the kitchen. Love that we can interact with the chefs while dining. But everyone comes for the main thing, the amazing seafood dishes. Would you get seafood in the desert. This place I say yes. Everytime we've been here which has been years, the meal has alway been excellent. And this time was another great experience. We have our regular that we alway go with for starters. The mussels in white wine sauce is definitely a must. Big meaty green mussels with a delicious white wine broth and of course you have to have the garlic bread for dipping. We didn't get any other starters but I do recommend the poke stack, both fresh oyster and grilled. Ahi is excellent with the dipping sauce and if you don't want seafood as a starter, the lamb chops are quite nice. They also have a good selection with their wine list and mixed drinks. I believe it's a full bar as well. Entrees, my favorite is the Ruben specials. Shrimp, crab, scallop, mussels and clams with garlic, basil, tomatoes, green onions in a white wine sauce with linguine. So so good and flavorful. Ozzy special is another favorite but we didn't get it this time. Also it was a first time getting the crab enchiladas. Let me say, it was delicious. 2 hand rolled corn tortillas stuffed with crab meat and cheese with creamy verde sauce and cheese. That's served with rice. Simple dish but so delicious and flavorful. The meal was delicious as always and the company was excellent. Everyone here is the best and the sweetest and friendliest. The locals love it here as they tend to know everyone that walks in. It's a must when you're in Palm Springs. Can't wait till they return around Labor Day which we will be back for another meal. Highly recommend.
