This was an incredible find for us. We were in between lunch and dinner and needed something that was quick, easy, and tasted delicious. The directions on Yelp were inaccurate by at least half a mile. While we got lost for a bit, we ended up finding the spot. The owners were incredibly nice and hospitable. I ended up getting one Al Pastor taco while my friends tried the Asada and chicken. While we loved all of the proteins, the Al Pastor was the showstopper. When we sat down in the main dining room, one of my friends wanted to get some chips and salsa, and they had an incredible salsa bar. It turned out that the chips were complementary and made in house along with the tortillas. The tables were clean and the dining room was inviting. The owners came to check on us throughout our meal. No geriatric palate here (although I'm sure they can accommodate items such as chips with less or no salt) They pulled ALLLL the stops here. Try the Al Pastor / Adobada (similar to birria in texture like a guisado but it rivals my grandpas recipe!) and Classic asada was really good and tender rather than chewy like other places. Lots of seating for friends and families. It's family owned - the owner came out and got us some silverware. The literal chef came out and served our burrito!! They gave us an experience - we were happily surprised. They are very accommodating. The salsas were replenished and fresh - they have this guac green salsa and regular green that we loved Omg we ordered fresh chips and they were HOT!! For like $2 or $3 in this economy it was a MUST paired with the salsa bar mm mmm. Tacos are FRESH - they taste super authentic. PS I'm shook at how clean the bathrooms are - like spotless. They say you should look at how clean a restroom is because that's how you know they keep a clean kitchen! Excellent cuts of meat - I get it .. it seems a little pricier than neighboring locations BUT OOF ITS WORTH IT!! I love the beans/frijoles THEY USE PERUVIAN BEANS hereee :) which we all know are un upgrade from pinto, and yes they're fresh beans. The food is amazing and bursting with flavor the carne asada burrito and torta are my favorite , the menu is not very big but I definitely know what I want and crave when I go here . You walk in and go to the left to place your order, the menu is at the cash register so it's a bit intrusive and inconvenient if there's a line. Prices are high at 4.00 a taco and for 4.25 you can make it a combo which incudes beans and rice. The beans are topped witch cheese but the beans are not hot enough to melt the cheese. I ordered a carnitas rack and al pastor and the al pastor was big squares of meat and the carnitas lacked flavor. Chips are an extra 3.25 and they have a salsa bar in the dining area. The woman taking the order was just meh around hospitality and said she'd bring our drinks out , however our food came out before we even got the drinks. It wasn't the worst Mexican food I've had hit it also wasn't the greatest and I don't think I'd come back, quite honestly . The horchata is THICK and coats the inside of your mouth, but a plus is if you want a refill, it's free. read more

I discovered Super Taco last March, and was looking forward to a return visit this year. Both visits were highlighted by fresh, flavorful food! I had two tacos - asada and carnitas-both fantastic! Refried beans and rice deliciously enhanced my meal. You want to add more flavor? Then make sure to check out the salsas and pico de gallo at the salsa bar! This is authentic food in a family owned/run restaurant - something I truly appreciate. At both visits a member of the family made a point to check on us and that led to wonderful conversations. A gem! Staff was friendly and attentive at counter ordering and table delivery, checking to make sure we had everything we needed and quickly clearing away plates when we finished. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for a resort town, and they load up the meat and fillings. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time now. It was definitely worth the wait. We were greeted as we walked in. Very nice people working. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. We checked out Super Taco for lunch today, yowza! The reviews are accurate. The staff is super friendly and the food is terrific. Parking *is* a bit tight. They have a parking lot, but it probably holds ten cars max. Just be aware, especially if you drive a large vehicle. You order at the window and they bring out your food. I had the Queso Birria Taco (the shell is made of cheese) and my wife had the carnitas taco. They were both excellent. The salsa bar had some great choices too. We also ordered refried beans and chips, really delicious. The inside of the place is clean and there are plenty of tables. A couple (maybe three?) big TVs turned to the Olympics and some good music was playing. We will definitely return. read more

I found the inside of the restaurant to be dirty. Found ordering as soon as you get though the door weird. Hard and soft tacos were not good. We always drive by this place and there is only one or two cars there. Even at 12:30 pm on a Friday which should be peak time. I suspect some of the other reviews to be family members or friends as there is no way this place rates anything above a two star. I can't imagine this place remaining open much longer. read more

This place is incredible! I discovered it earlier this year when a friend told me how great it was. I don't know where to begin... the food is amazing. Fresh and flavorful. Like many have already said here, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The interior is cool and inviting with authentic Mexican music in the background. They really are shooting themselves in the foot and losing a ton of business being closed on Tuesdays, especially when places like Elvira's have such good deals! I attended a group dining function here for lunch today. I ate 1 fork full of my lunch and it was dry and tasteless I ordered a burrito and asked for red sauce. There was some confusion and the lady at the register thought I wanted salsa. I brought the food to the counter asking for some sort of sauce and whatever was put on it just made it worse. To be complete, the service was fine, the place was clean, the patio was loud and the parking was very limited. When they picked up my plate with hardly anything eaten of it I was asked if I didn't like my lunch and I said no. I will say they were nice enough to credit off the charge on my debit card without me asking them to. That scored points with some of the other people in my group.
