    Fish and chips.

It's been years since we were at CJ's. We were greeted with good service and a friendly environment. We ended up there because I was looking for fish and chips, and CJ's didn't disappoint. I don't know if it's the best in the valley but it was good. My wife has corn beef hash. It was good as were the hash browns. This was a great lunch choice. Can't wait to go back.

One of the BEST hamburgers I've ever had. Come try it yourself & you'll agree!

Top notch service, very personable and friendly. Home cooked food fabulously made to order. A favorite of the locals! Off the bidden path . The BEST hamburger I've eaten in years. Made by request ... home made not just a patty handmade

Went back two days in a row! It was a great place to eat on our trip. Every employee encounter we had there was great. I honestly couldn't say better things. The vibes were there, the food was tasty and loveeedd the iced latte. Overall great experience and would go again...and again.

Service charge disclosure states 8 or more.

Food was good, service was good too but BEWARE the menu states parties of 8 or more pay a 20% service charge. There was 7 of us and when we went to complain the owner said it was wrong that it was six or more even if it wasn't disclosed anywhere. He also stated it was a "law" that 6 or more required 20%. Dishonest owner, and arrogant when approached with our questions. Look elsewhere .

There were a lot of breakfast options, from specialty pancakes and waffles to unique omelets and Mexicandishes like Chilaquiles. I got the Biancasada omelet, which has carne asada, peppers, onions and cheese. It is served with your choice of side (I got potato wedges) and bread (I subbed the grilled peach specialty pancake). The omelet was ok...the carne asada wasn't great and the other ingredients could have been cooked more. The wedges were good, but I didn't like the grilled peach pancake as much as I thought I would and wished I would have got the lemon blueberry. Portions were big, and I took half to go. Hubby got the chorizo con papas omelet with hash browns cooked extra crispy and a buttermilk pancake. The omelet was really good, and the hash browns were cooked well. The pancake was a pancake. They only have Pepsi products, so I went with water, which they refilled well. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they had Hawaiian music playing. I'd come back to try lunch. The sandwiches and burgers coming out looked good.

The rooms are slightly dated. Not disastrous. Not horror story energy. Just giving we have seen a few seasons. You can tell the property wants a little refresh in some spots. Very White Lotus if White Lotus had a more budget-conscious cousin. The pool was clean though, and that goes a long way. Especially when you are at a family-friendly place and one bad pool moment can ruin the whole trip. The bowling alley and games for kids were honestly a strong save. That part gives the property some real personality. It is the kind of setup that keeps children entertained and keeps adults from having to hear "what are we doing now" every eleven minutes. The staff was amazing. Warm. Helpful. On it. That was probably the best part of the stay. They gave the whole experience more polish than the building sometimes had on its own. Good staff can carry a property far, and they definitely did some heavy lifting here. The gym is really small, and it could use an update bad. A few newer machines and a little more space would make a huge difference. Right now it feels like an afterthought. Like they remembered fitness at the very end and said okay put two something somewhere and let God handle the rest. The bar and food were decent. Perfectly fine. Nobody at the table was offended. Nobody was composing love letters either. It was the kind of meal you eat, nod at, and then fully forget by the next afternoon. Not bad. Not brag-worthy. Just there. Overall, this is a great stay with some fun family-friendly perks, a clean pool, and great staff holding it all together. It is not luxury-luxury. It is more like resort-adjacent with good intentions and a few solid amenities. it's giving... Palm Springs spinoff energy with a Groupon and a great staff.

A lower price and water slide is not worth the stay. -Room wasn't ready until 6:30pm. They tried to have us stay in a room with a crack in the ceiling which they had been trying to fix for the last 2 hours. It was absurd they did not offer us another room at checkout time. -pool was dirty. Some trash on the ground and zero people working around the pool -in general there was bags of trash all over the hallways of the rooms. Almost every time in the hallways were clear bags of trash. -there was a martini glass on one of the tables outsides that I noticed was there for the night and the entire day and night the next day too -around the hot tub was a waterfall that wasn't on with trash at the bottom and a big metal wire looking thing sticking out -barely anyone working, it felt like the place was extremely short staffed -no towels at the side pool for hours, I followed up multiple times and asked the front desk. Saw there were no towels at the night swim too -food took an hour at the casual outdoor restaurant. Our waitress said it was her first night, but was on her own (no one helping her). By the time our food came and it was finished she had just left. We had to really track someone down to pay and leave -shampoo was empty entire time It's on a beautiful property and seems like when they first opened it was probably great. But it's been completely let go and needs a lot more attention and upkeep. On the plus side, a lot of the people working were really nice. They kept trying to make up for all of the issues and we kept getting free drink tickets, free credits, etc. I really would have preferred nothing free and a better experience. There were so many issues there was a running joke with our party of how bizarre the stay was that when something happened (like the waitress disappearing or no towels the entire day) we would just say that we weren't surprised. And I almost forgot - there was an old pizza crust sticking out underneath the cabinet area.

The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.

I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California!
