    Turkey Jalapeo Sausage Scramble

Big shout out to JT's. The turkey jalapeño sausage scramble with country potatoes is seriously one of the best diner breakfast I've ever had! And my wife loved her eggs Benedict too. She swapped in turkey jalapeño sausage. Super efficient and friendly service. Great job. And sorry about the lame photos... I should've spun those plates around.

Love LOVE LOVE IT hereeee!!! Best experience dining, walking in and the interaction from the staff Thank you for making Lisa's birthday! Love you girls!

We arrived a little after 10 on New Year's Day and were seated right away. Since they have Pepsi products, I had water to drink. My dining companions had OJ. We got: Hawaiian Portuguese Sausage Scramble -- basic scramble Very Berry French Toast -- first time having French toast on a croissant. It had good overall flavor and we liked the mixed berry compote. Todd's Eggs Benedict Breakfast -- this was ok. The hollandaise was a little runny and mustardy, and the country potatoes could have been cooked more. It's fun to watch the kitchen in the middle, and they had oldies music playing. Food is pretty standard. Not bad but nothing special.

Cute diner. Went for brunch on a Sunday, and it was pretty busy. But the service was fast, efficient and friendly. Huevos Rancheros were good. It didn't have ranchero sauce though. Instead it was served with fresh salsa on top. Tasty dish but misnamed. The corned beef was good as well. The real reason I went was because I was craving biscuits and gravy. That was good too. Nothing fantastic but the biscuit was light and fresh. Gravy could've used more seasoning and would've been better if it had some sausage in it. But it tasted just fine. I'd go back and try an omelette next time.

We were visiting Palm Desert and JTs Diner was not far from our hotel. We came in on a weekday afternoon and can highly recommend this restaurant. Stepping inside is like walking into a 1950s Diner, and we loved the music playing - authentic songs from the 50s and 60s. My wife and I were eager to share something - after reviewing the menu our friendly server took our orders: The Wedge (salad) and JT's Smokin Sliders. After a few minutes the food arrived and it looked good (see photo). The Wedge salad was nicely chopped up (a lot of times you get a true wedge of Iceberg Lettuce you have to cut up) with plenty of "goodies"; bacon, tomatoes, hard boiled egg and avocado pieces with blue cheese dressing. Delicious! And JT's Smokin Sliders consisted of 3 small sliders (beef burgers) with smoked mozzarella cheese, topped with crispy onion strips - served with a side of French fries. The burgers were as tasty as the salad. This was our last day in Palm Desert otherwise we would have come back for another meal (they had a good looking breakfast menu as well).

Good service. The portions are just the right amount for the price. The decorations are very cute, vintage retro themed. Servers are all very kind and attentive.

Drove into town. Hungry. Diner vibe for sure with all the newer retro/vintage signage. Typical diner food. Service- A+++. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking. Lots of TVs.

This is my second visit to JTs. Somehow I forgot to review them last time. If you like traditional diners, this is the place for you. Friendly staff, welcoming layout and a great menu. I had Hot Pastrami on Sourdough with fries and added a side salad. The salad was most impressive and had unexpected goodies like mushrooms. This diner actually makes it's own sausage for some of the offerings. Give them a try.

Delicious food and outstanding services. Like an old school Diner playing 50s music. I had the cheese and mushroom Scramble with sourdough bread and fruit. Thoroughly enjoyed it..

    Country Breakfast

Good food. Great service. Diner ambience. This place came recommended by a server at a Marriott location we were staying at when asked for a good breakfast spot in the area. He was right! It was good! We had the Country Breakfast and some pancakes. While the breakfast was delicious, your typical two egg, meat and potatoes plate, the pancakes fell short of amazing. We felt they should have been cooked a bit longer as they were a bit doughy. Also the potatoes could have been a bit more well done with some crisp, which is why I knocked a star off. To me, country potatoes should be a bit crispy, well done. The one item that stood out was the chicken jalapeno sausage. OMG! These sausage patties were delicious, filled with spice and seasoning. Very tasty! This item really made the dish to be honest. I will say they did deliver on the over medium egg, which most places miss. Overall a great experience. Our server Alexandra was so kind and friendly. Everyone working there was. We appreciate that kind of hospitality nowadays, as it is rare and few in today's world. For that reason, we will definitely be back the next time we are in town. Seating is plenty. Prices reasonable. Portions good. Service excellent!!! Parking is plenty. Bon appétit!

This place is great, their food is some of the best in the valley. Service is always prompt, and the servers are always friendly and offer great laughs. Definitely coming back and trying more menu items.

The roll itself is so fluffy and even with it sitting on the counter for a few hours (it was already 3pm when I picked up the roll.) It was still so fresh, the frosting tasted like it had just been whipped with cream cheese and it wasn't dry at all. The server stated to place it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds but it honestly didn't need to be warmed because it was so fresh, perfectly balanced and just the right amount of cinnamon. Yes, it was $8 but it was so worth the price tag given I ate the roll for two days and it was still great. The sides were a little hard on day two but it was sitting out.

The wait itself to be seated was 10 minutes. The host at the front seemed to be either having a bad day, or was improperly suited for that position. After we got the text that we were ready to be seated, we had to almost "bother" him to get him to notice us. Once we got to our table, the menu jumped out and we knew we had to share a Sky's the Limit. We placed our order, and then we proceeded to wait 40 minutes for our food to be brought out to us. Another couple seated before us ended up walking out as their food never arrived. While the wait itself was bad, once our food arrived we were able to finally enjoy the place we had remembered from years prior. My big complaint was that the bacon for our meal arrived entirely overcooked, almost burned to a crisp, and was not edible. We had to flag down another server to help take care of this for us, and while the replacement bacon came out right away, it too wasn't great. Maybe bacon just isn't their strong suit? The waiter for our table also seemed to disappear after our order arrived, which was a bummer, but it did not distract us enough from the quality of our meal. The biscuit was perfect. The chewy and tender mix was exactly what we wanted and overall made for the highlight of the meal. The Blackberry custard French toast was also the perfect amount of sweet paired with the meal. Inside, tables do seem to be scrunched together. It is not a big place after all, so just be mindful of where you sit. I ended up losing count of the number of times my feet were bumped, and my right shoulder/arm tapped. All those issues aside, we enjoyed our visit and will return again. Maybe the fault was with us for being there while on Father's Day, but that was unplanned. Overall, good food (minus the bacon) and good way to end our vacation.

I got the Biancasada omelet, which has carne asada, peppers, onions and cheese. It is served with your choice of side (I got potato wedges) and bread (I subbed the grilled peach specialty pancake). The omelet was ok...the carne asada wasn't great and the other ingredients could have been cooked more. The wedges were good, but I didn't like the grilled peach pancake as much as I thought I would and wished I would have got the lemon blueberry. Portions were big, and I took half to go. Hubby got the chorizo con papas omelet with hash browns cooked extra crispy and a buttermilk pancake. The omelet was really good, and the hash browns were cooked well. The pancake was a pancake. It was my first time to the area, and I was blown away by the beautiful views and the weather! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Westin, and it was the perfect venue for a corporate conference. Check-in was severely delayed on the day of our check-in, but it did not affect us since we were out exploring the area. I overheard several very irritated people, though, as they were waiting to check in for many many hours, and rooms were not yet clean and ready until after 5pm. I enjoyed the spread out layout of this Westin, and it was convenient to have a room on the main floor. The convention spaces were good, but the air-conditioning made it feel like it was 50°, and everyone was shivering most of the conference. We enjoyed all of the food that we ate, and especially enjoyed the outdoor welcome reception that our conference hosted. It was such a beautiful backdrop, and well managed with great bar service and food options. We also enjoyed the adult pool area, and it was very convenient that it was just steps from our hotel room. Our room was a bit dated, but worked just fine for us. The bathroom was quite large, and easily accommodated multiple guests in one room. Beds were comfortable. The biggest issue we ran into was the power in our room didn't work all the time we called in maintenance, they fixed it, but then it broke again the next day it caused a fair amount of frustration, but the staff really worked hard to get it resolved. We enjoyed long walks around the golf course each morning, the coffee shop, the restaurants, and the ease of parking. We also saw a prom being hosted there and a wedding. The staff was friendly, and overall it was a great hotel for a conference!

The employees at the front desk were polite and trying their best, so this is not directed at them, but the communication and management responsiveness really need improvement. After traveling all day, it was frustrating sitting in the lobby with no clear updates or help. Then after finally getting into the room, I went to take a shower and the shower hose had been pointed straight outward. The second I turned the water on, it sprayed directly into my face and all over the bathroom floor. When I turned the water back toward the shower, I noticed there was already a towel sitting inside the shower completely drenched, which honestly made the whole room feel like it hadn't been properly checked or prepared before guests arrived. The property itself is beautiful, but the overall experience definitely did not match the level of service I expect from a Marriott property.
