Si bon! What a lovely place to get a meal. The interior is very cute I find the decor beautiful. I went for breakfast today. They serve Lavazza coffee which is one of my favorites! I ordered the mango waffle and my mom got the French crepe. Everything was tasty and we shared the dishes so we could taste it all. Service was good , no complaints , this place runs smoothly and timely. Would come again and next time bring my sister also.

Came for their Sand Dabs fish and it did not disappoint. So elegantly done with a tasty lemon beurre sauce topped with sprinkled capers! There was a fair amount of food on the plate--rotkraut, mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked green beans and a small portion of sweet potato soufflé, we were each given 3 small pcs of sand dabs! It was quite filling...we left happy and satisfied

Beth gave fantastic service and anticipated all of our needs, she is truly a gem. We got the lobster frotters(not recommended), the veal oso bosso was incredibly tender and fell of the bone! Along with that we ordered the Carbonara capellini and it was fantastic as well but I would recommend getting additional sauce. I also really appreciate the sardines that came on the Cesar salad. The service was excellent from everyone. The ambiance was lovely, great brunch spot!

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning. We ate on the beautiful patio, which is covered by a big sunshade. Our server, Maribel, was really friendly and attentive. Our party ordered vanilla lattes, Belgian French toast, an American crêpe, Tuscany Benedict, and a mango waffle. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Look no further!!

The service was quick and friendly. This place has a lot of space to accommodate large parties. It a more elevated diner setting. The corn beef seemed like it was recooked and it was sitting out a little bit. Overall, I think the other food options we got were good and I would come back again.

What's the best recommendation for a great restaurant? In our experience, it's when we meet friends who encourage us to try a dining establishment where they have recently eaten and loved! We were spending a few days vacationing in Palm Springs and attending the Indian Wells Tennis tournament when our friends told us about Si Bon, a Belgian restaurant at 40101 Montery Avenue in Rancho Mirage . We had a fabulous dinner thznks to Raul, our wonderful waiter who took such good care of us, I wanted to give him a special thanks!

We got take out for brunch recently. We got the waffle with strawberry custard and santa fe crepe. For takeout, the food was still warm and really good when we ate it. The waffle was nice and crispy on the outside and paired well with the cold custard and fresh fruits. It wasnt too sweet and was the perfect tangy and sweet flavor for breakfast. The santa fe crepe was my favorite type of savory crepe. It had fresh eggs, arugula, avocado, and turkey inside. The potatoes were fried perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside. Both items were really good and satisfying for our brunch/breakfast. I would definitely go back to dine in and try some of their other items.

After a doctor's appointment in Palm Desert we stumbled upon this restaurant and we were glad to have stoped by. The service was great our server was really nice and recommended what to get since it was our first time. They had freshly squeezed orange juice that was amazing. The avocado toast was not the typical abocado toast I've had it had pico de gallo on it which added so much flavor. I really liked it, it was bursting with so many flavors. The arugula salad on the side was yummy as well the dressing they used complimented well with the avocado toast sweet and savory. My husband got the breakfast plate which he loved. The inside of the restaurant was really nice with a lot to look at. It seemed like we were definitely in another country. I'm glad we found this gem we'll stop by every doctor's appointment now.

Fresh Berries & Custard Stuffed Crêpe

OVERALL: A rough Belgian flare... not gourmet at all. BERRIES & CUSTARD CREPE: The most berries I think I have ever had in my life in a crepe with a price tag of only $11. Although there was a blueberry drizzle, the berries were fresh. Points knocked for the grainy custard. Surprisingly no whipped cream. Syrup is provided on the side. SPANISH OMELETTE: Tender egg exterior. Stuffing was proportional but not plentiful. Interesting home fries that were in chunks...dry and a smidget of crisp. Biscuit and arugula on the side. Hot sauce (chula) and self packaged ketchup provided by wait staff. CAPP: Lots of foam. Not a dilute espresso. SERVICE: Omg, finding a server and ordering was like pulling hair. Not very attentive. Asked once how it's going. AMBIENCE: Casual with lots of retirees. Restrooms available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service fee not automatically included. Located in the Albertsons plaza. Private parking lot. Would I come back? No.

Food and vibe are great! The waitstaff are so sweet and highly recommend the matcha iced tea with caramel flavor to make it more sweet. Definitely want to try the croissant next time.

About 25 minutes south of Palm Springs, Si Bon sits on the corner of a strip mall with a spacious, dog friendly patio and effortless brunch vibes. We weren't very hungry but needed something to carry us through to dinner, which led to a long debate between a savory crêpe with Gruyère cheese and the house made corned beef hash eggs Benedict. We went with the latter and weren't disappointed, especially thanks to the fries, which unexpectedly stole the show. These weren't your average fries, and I regret not taking a photo. The corned beef hash paired beautifully with a slightly tangy hollandaise, the eggs were poached perfectly, and the portion was generous enough to share. I did wish for a bit more corned beef, but overall it was a satisfying plate. We sat on the garden patio where our server was wonderfully attentive to both us and our dogs, bringing out ice water on a warm afternoon even though our pups were fully exhausted from the dog park. We would come back, especially to finally try that crêpe.

Exceptional service. Delicious . Amazing ambience. I never had before waffles with fried chicken and it was delicious!! The waffle was crisp and chicken cooked perfectly. I loved everything about it. Our waiter was extremely polite . Thanks

We went for Valentine's Day last week, which I understand- it was a Saturday, a romantic holiday, a long weekend where many had off from work and school, and Modernism Week in Palm Springs. So it was beyond crowded which would naturally mean longer wait times and extra grace. But we made reservations about a month prior for 7pm, arrived 8 minutes before, and sat out in the cold (heat lamp was out of propane and no one told us) for 2.5 hours before receiving our entrees. Jasmine ordered 2 Cosmos, I ordered a French 75 and Cosmo; we both got escargot; I got the duck and she had the short ribs; I got tiramisu but they ran out of the dessert she ordered, so she pivoted to crème brûlée which she ended up not liking. She had some of my duck (which was dry and tasted like orange chicken) and I had some of her crème brûlée but did not touch the short ribs. Shortly after returning to our hotel, Jasmine was throwing up. I felt so guilty recommending such a place so I left a bad review on Google. Somehow, this is where it all gets so much worse. Sure they comped one round of drinks to excuse the 3 hours we spent at the restaurant, but things are different now: your food made my friend sick, so why would you expect her to want to pay $85 for that? They (incorrectly) mansplained how food poisoning works to her, they accused her of "bitching", they refused to refund her until I would take my bad Google review down (I did not.) We have since reported them to the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health and wrote a few more reviews each. Even JC's responses to these Yelp reviews are insane! If a restaurant is this flippant about their own food and health safety, then I do not understand how they are still in business. Best to keep your distance and try other great French food while you're in Palm Springs.

We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch.

Just off the main highway 111, a cute area where it's worth checking out. It's a corner restaurant so it's nice for people watching. We had parked nearby when I first seen it and remember seeing how busy it looked so it was on the list of places to check out in Palm Desert. Mother's Day, we were out and about trying to find a place for a late brunch and ended up walking around. Of course I remembered the place and decided it's now or never since we were here. The restaurant as it's on a corner lot had a really nice open patio which what caught our eyes the first time. I honestly thought that was the only part of the restaurant but they did have some seating inside with the tufted bar booth as well as the side back patio. That part didn't seemed to be utilized. We checked in with the hostess which we did get seated pretty fast. They were cleaning up one of the tables on the patio looking out to the street. It was busy but not too crazy as it was towards the end. Found out they close at 3 in preparation for dinner. Menu wise for brunch, fairly decent. Nothing major like WoW. Started off with some cold beer which bread and butter was also brought out. Meal, we just went with a salad as it was hot out and an easy eat. The Niçoise salad with tuna. It was canned tuna so I substituted for the seared ahi for an additional fee. Also the curry chicken salad. Niçoise salad was good, green beans with diced potatoes, hard boil eggs, olives, tomatoes, onions and anchovies and the added seared ahi tuna. It was good but nothing major with the romaine lettuce. Tuna was tasty. The curry chicken salad was a scoop accompanied by slices of guava on top a portion of shredded lettuce. To me it could be more of a snack as the portion was pretty small but great for a light meal. Flavors were tasty and it was nice. Overall lunch was good. The food was good and service was nice. They were closing in 45 minutes when we arrived so we thought we were going to be rushed but it was fine. Food didn't take long to come out. The place is nice with the patio seating that open and looks out to the street. There's loads of mister along the top that helps with cooling down as well as the curtains that come down. He knew his stuff, and went through everything we needed to know, but it was also clear that he was flat out. He asked if we wanted water, but then forgot and when we prompted him, one came with ice even though our guest requested no ice. Inital round of cocktails was on point, though no extra olives as requested by one. Not a huge deal. Drinks were excellent. Bread service and the beet salad were also quite good. I got the swordfish special. Swordfish is not my favorite fish, but the prep (pineapple black bean chutney) enticed me and it was very good. Another got the caper-lemon schnitzel. Another got the chicken curry. The curry was not as good as hoped; I think it was a little thin. No complaints on the schnitzel. Dessert and coffee were offered but we were full.

Haven't been back to Palm Springs for a couple of years and Johannes is on our must visit list…read more Somewhat disappointed this time. We are schnitzel lovers, I had the plain Wiener schnitzel($38) and hubs had the Papa schnitzel($44) I asked our waiter if schnitzel is made from pork or chicken and he said veal. First of all, my cutlet is 'snow white' throughout with no 'pink' anywhere let alone light pink showing in real veal. The texture is so soft with absolutely 'no chew' as veal should have. The whole schnitzel is flavourless and tasteless...taste just like pounded/tenderized chicken breast steak! Not any better with my hubs Papa schnitzel. Maybe next visit we'll skip the schnitzels and try their other items on the menu.......
