Super cute brunch spot! I liked the aesthetics of this place. There was a good amount of parking. It was a bit confusing because I end up going to the opposite side of the building. They luckily didn't have a wait when we came. The service was fairly quick and servers were friendly. I got the chilequiles and their red sauce was delicious. It was stacked with a lot of meat too. I could tell that right when we walked in to this place on a Saturday for lunch it was in a state of chaos. Many of the tables were occupied, but the ones that weren't occupied had all of the old plates just sitting there. So obviously no bus service at that point. We honestly should have left at that point. To sum up: Bad service Slow service Inattentive service, came twice, once for drink order and for food order Outrageous pricing - $24 for an omelette and $8 scone for example One and done Living off DDD fame, in my opinion Manager and owner nowhere in sight. Every chair had a different cushion that gives you a warm at home feeling with "Sabor a Mi" playing in the air. We were seated at a very comfy table for two. After which we were greeted by Diego Ask for his section when you visit. He's soooo nice! I ordered the "Moms Chilaquiles" my auntie ordered the "Green Chili Quesadilla Monte Cristo", WOW! WOW! WOW! Amazing dishes I highly recommend. And let's not forget the fantastic "Bloody Mary" that is served with yellow chilis , green olives and pickles. My mouth is watering just thinking about it I am here for a weekend getaway and will definitely revisit to experience a fantastic new dish. read more

I've been to chula a handful of times. Coincidentally, I went to school with the owners son. For work, I have travel involved and anytime I'm in the area my go to is Chula. Perfect all around. The service is amazing, staff is always friendly and smiling. Anything I order is cooked exactly how I asked. Have been here multiple times over the years and just now writing a well deserved review. This place offers fresh plates and delicious tres leches lattes (always get iced!). This is a great, casual brunch spot where you can be sure the meal is quality. The Chula farm bowl with turkey chorizo is delicious and the red pork chilaquiles are game changers! The pork tamales are pretty good too but you have to get them while they last, otherwise they might just be sold out. The Strawberry Brioche French Toast is moist and great for sharing. The whipped cinnamon butter/cream is a perfect addition. With the Classic Breakfast of eggs, bacon, and potatoes you can also choose pancakes or french toast. Go with the french toast! As a local, it's nice to have a place like Chula around and I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

What a perfect find! Tucked away in a nice plaza, this brunch place has the best vibes. Decorated with vibrant colors, cozy and eclectic seating, and fun decor, this place was perfect after our walk at Bear Creek trail. I got the tres leches latte (so good!), the green smoothie with almond milk (also delicious) and we split the huevos rancheros (dare I say, best I've ever had?!) and the chilaquiles with chicken (Christmas style). We had to sit outside due to the smell inside. Unfortunately they use cheap fabuloso to clean, and it reeked of the cheap chemical smell. We arrived around 1 and it wasn't too crowded. Parking was ok. Service was decent. They brought the food out in odd order. We enjoyed the cowboy caviar. Very fresh, could have used a bit more chips. Then they brought out sweet potatoes fries, which I wanted with my meal. The sweet potatoes were large cut sweet potatoes, made fresh. Then they brought out black beans. Also very good but wanted with our meal. I had the pulled pork torta. Very good. Very filling. My wife had the enchiladas , red and green sauce.. with to eggs on top. She loved it. Delicious, quirky little spot. I was in Indian Wells for a weeklong work event and we popped over to Chula's for some off-the-resort (read: HEALTHY) food. We were not disappointed. So many food choices! Vegan pancakes, squash blossoms (yes!) and my all time favorite - the Vegan Bowl (can I bathe in this?). There is something special about the healthy-Mex dishes that Palm Springs consistently serves up, and Chula's is my new favorite. The Vegan Bowl was so good, I grabbed a coworker (who conveniently had a car) and popped back over. This place is popular, so be patient. The wait is worth it - food is tasty and the menu is diverse. Love this place. And the service and food is always good. I really love their gluten free and dairy free pancake.

The food was pretty good. The servers were generally a bit slow to respond. Was sat for about five minutes before being greeted by our server. We saw another guest flagging down a busser to ask menu questions after they had been seated for a few minutes. The ice tea wasn't a very large glass and I had to request each refill. The really disappointment came from three guests next to us that had a speaker phone FaceTime going for over 10 minutes. We asked them to stop, as did another guest. They asked why and continued. We asked the server, who just apologized to us and the other guest. We didn't want an apology, we wanted them to stop. My feeling is that the owner's skill is the food but not managing the environment. Additional focus in the dining room would raise the level of the experience. I've had better experiences elsewhere, so not sure I'd return. read more

This place has such a lovely ambiance and is so perfect for an aesthetic brunch vibe. I think this menu has really unique dishes that have a Mexican fusion twist. For example the huevos rancheros presentation was beautiful and it was really interesting to try a nopal tortilla. I have also never seen a mac and cheese with loads of green chile either. While the presentation was overall lovely, I do think there were some things I didn't personally like. The mac and cheese for instance had large pieces of pasta but it was so little. My sister finished the pasta but still had so much sauce left. Luckily I ordered the gigantic monte cristo and was able to share with her, and we used it as a dipping sauce. On that note, they should have a half order option for the monte cristo or at least warn customers that it's a huge portion and way too much for one person. The cobb salad was good but the chicken was also way too dry. And lastly the potatoes on their Classic were so so good and I loved the veggies cooked into it but the bacon could have been better. The pancakes however were excellent! Overall a great place, worth a try for sure. read more

We will be back to try other things to find what would be our go to dish for this place considering it's very unusual. They have breakfast and lunch with many dishes Mexican influenced. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because mom didn't love the sweet potato fries. They tasted more like regular fries which was okay for me. . The chips I'm sure were homemade but they we over fried and cold but mom like them. The hamburger meat was really thick like I like it however, it was overcooked and had an unusual texture like maybe brisket In the hamburger meat but I never asked so I really don't know. Mom really loved the fish tocos . Bottom line is I'm sure you can find a great dish here if you try a few to find out. read more

EVERYTHING was so delicious from the turkey chorizo and the melody of flavors in the huevos rancheros and the breakfast potatoes with spinach to the homemade jam and homemade bread!
