Came for breakfast. Got eggs, potatoes and toast. The meal was good but honestly nothing special. A 3 star meal. The 4th star is based on the service, which was excellent. Food came quickly coffee refilled without asking. Really exceptional service.

Great and busy diner that offers many different kinds of food that ranges from lunch to breakfast. My family and I came here one morning (big party of 12) and they were able to accommodate us comfortably. We ordered meals like chicken fried steak, monte Cristo, corned beef hash, traditional breakfast with bacon and eggs, kids happy face pancakes, and eggs Benedict. I ordered the southwest eggs Benedict which was a warm pupusa covered with cooked chorizo, topped with 2 poached eggs, and a tomatillo hollandaise sauce. Very unique and flavorful. Their cup of coffee was delicious and strong! Love how they continue to refill the cup so you never have an empty cup of joe :)

I have been going here for a long time. I have never had any bad food or service. Well this past weekend went there for breakfast on our way to another city. We love their jam that's made there, we decided to buy a couple of bottles. I asked our server is this the same as what we just had and she assured us that it was. That was NOT the case. We came home so excited to try it oh boy we were so disappointed it didn't taste anything like what we had. I wish we lived close by so we could take it back not to get our money back but get the same jam the serve.

Had heard about it & finally we had the opportunity to go, small quaint place, very busy, but the food was yummy!!! The servers had jerseys on, our waiter was nice, I ordered the Louise pantry scramble w/bacon, cheddar & avocado & w/hash browns & my husband ham & eggs! Food was delicious, asked for a side of salsa, very good! Definitely will return!

We were looking for a new place to try for breakfast and found Louise's on Yelp. When we arrived on. Sunday around 10, there was a wait so we decided to sit at the counter, where we could be seated immediately. That turned out to be a really fun experience, since we enjoyed watching the kitchen at work and the toaster in action. We got the omelette with chorizo and well-cooked potatoes and the banana walnut pancakes. The portions were large. Hubby really liked the omelette and said the potatoes were cooked perfectly. They give you homemade jelly with the toast -- that was delicious. The pancakes were good but I should have read the menu better because I thought the bananas were on top, which I would have preferred. The servers were super friendly and dressed in jerseys for football Sunday. The water was gross but they were redeemed with the Diet Coke, which they refilled well.

This place is amazing. Been in the area since 1946. From all the actors and actresses pictures on the wall to the Service and the food was incredible. I had the Corned beef and hash the best I've had in a long time. The biscuits and gravy were the best ever. My wife had the breakfast sandwich with turkey bacon she loved it. The country potatoes were made crispy like we asked. There was plenty of leftovers. Definitely be going back whenever we are out in the area.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast this morning. At 10:30 and we got right in. The server was so sweet. We spent two hours talking and she never said a word or tried to push us which I thought was so nice. I really enjoyed my eggs Benedict the way I ordered them, which was toast on the side so I could try their strawberry jam which is made in house. It was really good. I enjoyed my breakfast with the hashbrowns eggs Benedict and bacon. My girlfriend enjoyed her breakfast too. We will definitely be back. I'll bring mom but puppy can't go because they don't have a patio.

If you're looking for the best food and fast, friendly service in the La Quinta area, Louise's Pantry is your spot. It's a classic, no-fuss diner that delivers exactly what you want on a lazy morning or after a long drive. Let's get one thing out of the way: if you're worried about wait times, head to Broken Yolk down the street -- it's bigger, more commercial, and more about volume. But if you're here for quality food and warm service that actually cares, Louise's wins hands down. I had the corned beef hash, and it was chef's kiss -- flavorful, crispy edges, and not greasy at all. The Reuben sandwich was solid, though the pastrami leaned a little dry. Still tasty, but next time I'll stick with the hash. Coffee is on the lighter side, but they bring over a pile of flavored creamers so you can doctor it up however you want. It's kind of charming in an old-school way. What really stood out was the service -- these folks hustle. Refills, check-ins, and the food came out fast. Felt like they actually wanted us there, which is rare these days. They've also got a solid kids' menu, which makes this a no-brainer for families. Our kids had plenty of options and left full and happy. This is 100% going to be our go-to spot next time we're in Indian Wells. Louise's Pantry isn't flashy -- it's just consistently good, and that's exactly what you want in a local diner.

We came with a large group of 8 on a Saturday and were seated quickly in less than 15 minutes. Our food was EPIC and amazing, all handled by capable servers that brought every item perfectly. Each of us loved our food, it was hot and fresh and the ambiance was fun and lively. Great spot!

It's a pretty busy spot, so there was definitely a wait for everything. The avocado toast was delicious so much avocado! It's a loud place so great for kids.

Our server and service was pretty good. The atmosphere was ok and what you'd expect for that kind of place. What really disgusted me were ALL of the FLIES. It was gross. If you want to feel like you're camping or something then this is the place to go. We had to keep waving our hands around to shoo the flies away. I could not eat comfortably. I was so repulsed. The health department should go out there and with all of the Hantavirus in the news, they could really be a bit more vigilant. If they don't care about flies, what other bugs do they NOT care about in their KITCHEN?!?! Makes you wonder? I noticed they offer patio dining (in the 90 degree weather) and they kept the door propped open like permanently to let ALL of the FLIES INSIDE. The food was pretty good, most of it. We tried a lot of appetizers. The shrimp were good and flavorful but too small. The onion was way too salty. The chicken wings were excellent and the perfect amount of crispy on the outside while being juicy inside. The spinach dip was ok, but it was cold and super thick and a bit too salty. The outlaw ribeye was excellent. I loved the mashed potatoes. The simple side salad was excellent. The lobster tail was great. The rice pilaf, not so great. It was unlike any pilaf I've ever had with nasty herbs and vegetables inside. The desserts were excellent . I tried the salted Carmel cheesecake and the chocolate cake! The food is great, but bring a portable, retractable fly swatted, those portable pop up netted food covers for picnics and those little fly fans because you're going to need them here!

I don't typically leave negative reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt,…read morebut I'm TIRED of BAD service. So if you know about this place, you have to place your order outside of a window. In 100+ degree weather it gets HOT!! and FAST!!! Well, we were left outside in direct heat waiting for the cashier to come out and greet us, this was myself, my elderly 75 year-old mother (as seen in the video) as well as my 14-year-old Nephew. You have to push a doorbell type button to gain the staff's attention, totally cool with that, but when you leave people waiting in 100+ degree weather for 5 to 10 minutes with no shade and no misting system, that could become a problem. So the cashier finally comes out this morning and she greets me and she says it'll just be a couple more minutes before I come out to take your order. I said OK, that's fine, but can you please call me to the window? I said because it's extremely hot and I'm sweating and I don't wanna wait in direct sunlight. She said absolutely, that's not a problem. So she goes back to do whatever she goes to do. About four minutes later she proceeds to give an order to another customer that was waiting in the heat as well, then she calls me to the window. I get to the window and someone proceeds to gain her attention inside of the kitchen, so rather than ask me to hold or tell me that she just needed a minute, she proceeded to slam the window in my face and goes to talk to her coworker about who knows what. What she should've done was told her coworker, hey, I'm with a customer right now, let me get back to you as soon as I take his order, but she didn't do that. She proceeded to make her coworker her priority, not the person that was going to place a $100 order for a group of people celebrating Mother's Day. So she gets back to the window and I proceeded to tell her off. I told her exactly how I feel because at this point I think service in this country has gotten bad with this new generation. She looked like she was in her early 20s, I myself for context am not. So she says I'm ready to take your order and I said, you really just slammed the door in my face, didn't you? She was just stunned that I said something, that I actually had a voice. I said no, I'm not gonna place an order with you, you lost an order because you left me out here in 100+ degree weather. I said I should've been the priority, and I was a little upset because I did drop a couple F bombs (which I regret) but only because I was hot and I was sweating and I was frustrated and I was just angry that this new generation has no concept on how to treat paying customers, especially rational customers, with better service. Now they weren't slammed, aside from the other customer that got to receive his order, no one else was waiting for an order, so it's not like she was super busy. That's what really bothers me, I should've been the priority with my family, but yet she chose to leave us in the heat. I told her, if the roles were reversed and you were outside here waiting in this heat and I was taking your order and I did that to you, you would be extremely upset. She was puzzled and didn't say much. I think she was just stunned that I said something, but I wanted it to be known that whoever is the owner of this place needs to have a serious talk with their employees about proper protocol when waiting to place or receive an order in 100° weather with absolutely no shade or water misters. I really think you guys need to do better. My family and I walked away and proceeded to go grab iced coffee at Everbloom Coffee across the street where we were treated like kings and queens. You don't leave an elderly woman waiting in 100° weather, they could die of heat stroke, DO BETTER, Papa Head!
