We visited Eureka for the first time in mid-April for dinner with a large group celebrating a family member's special day. Our reservation was for 12 people, and although four members of our party were running late ( My husband, our kids and I), the staff was incredibly accommodating. They held our table and even allowed us to order ahead so our food would be ready when we arrived. This ended up being a lifesaver because we were short on time and had an event immediately afterward. As soon as we sat down, our food started arriving. With a 3-year-old, a baby, and a tight schedule, having everything run so smoothly made a huge difference. I was honestly impressed that they were able to coordinate this so efficiently, especially during dinner service and for such a large party. Now for the food! Since it was our first visit, we weren't exactly sure what to expect, but everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the truffle cheese fries, cheese balls, and sweet corn, and each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The cheese balls were especially memorable! They had the perfect texture, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not greasy or soggy at all. My husband ordered the Jalapeño Egg Burger and was pleasantly surprised that it could be made with a gluten-free bun. It's always nice to see restaurants offering options that accommodate different dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. The Firecracker Wings are some of the best we've ever had--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly sauced. My husband ordered the poke bowl and said it was very good. The Spa Day Margaritas are refreshing, house-made, and perfect for a warm day. They also have a house blonde beer that my husband loves. While in Palm Springs, we stopped at Eureka! twice for burgers, and we really enjoyed them both times. For drinks, I ordered the Tipsy Pig Old Fashioned, made with bacon-infused WhistlePig 10-year rye, bitters, and barrel-aged maple syrup. It was really good and a great match for the food. For our meals, I had the Bacon Jalapeño Jam Burger with spicy charred Fresno chile, bacon-infused jalapeño jam, smoked mozzarella, and whiskey caramelized onions. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My mom ordered the Eureka! American with American and Swiss cheese, grilled red onion, lettuce, house pickles, tomato, special sauce, and barbecue bacon, and she really enjoyed it as well. I love this casual little eatery. The food is always so consistent whether eating there in person or ordering delivery! It's a casual spot with actual delicious food. Much of the area doesn't do "bar food" well. Meanwhile this place is serving up mid to high scale food in a pub style. The wings are the best I've found outside of New York. We got a word-of-mouth recommendation to try this place and decided to visit for dinner. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is very comfortable. We were seated quickly and our server was available right away to take our order. Eureka has a spicy chicken sandwich that looked very good except I didn't want it to be spicy. That didn't phase our server at all. She let me know the spice could be removed and was very accommodating. The sandwich was perfect without the spice! My friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. It had to be deconstructed, as it was very messy and she proceeded to eat it with fork and knife. I've always loved Eureka, especially for their incredible happy hour deals that happen every day. My friend and I were seeing a concert around this area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. Walking into Eureka, I love the modern ambiance they provide. The wine bottles in their giant glass windows, and the giant exclamation mark you can't miss that symbolizes their brand. We got seated immediately, you can choose whether inside or outside. We chose to be seated inside, our waiter was extremely welcoming and kind. We ordered their $13 Eureka American Burger, it comes with any ordinary toppings like cheese, onions, pickles, etc, and for the side it comes with their primal fries. However, for an additional cost, you have the option to upgrade to their truffle fries or mac and cheese balls. We stayed with the regular fries. Overall, our experience was fantastic. The food came out within 15 minutes and it was fully devoured, it was perfectly cooked at medium rare, and the fries were at a perfect crisp. I've been in 8+ times with friends and everything is consistent. The burger has always been outstanding and 10/10 recommend. Service is hit or miss. But my biggest issue is the ridiculous rotating happy hour beer menu. You can only see the list if you are sitting on one side of the bar. If you're anywhere else, you have to ask your server who never remembers the list. Seriously - is it that difficult to print and laminate a beer list? The cost to print and laminate is CHEAP and I GUARANTEE people would order more beer. It may feel like a small issue but it makes me irritated because it's easy / fixable and would drive business up. First time at Eureka! in Indian Wells - Solid but pricey for the portions My family has been raving about Eureka! for a while as one of their favorite spots, so I was excited to finally try it. It's a cool, casual American spot with a good vibe, craft beers, and a scratch kitchen feel. We started with appetizers, and they were honestly the highlight. The Mac n' Cheese Balls were surprisingly tasty--the mac wasn't overpowering at all, super creamy and balanced, and the ranch dressing was fantastic. It tasted homemade and fresh, not that generic stuff you get elsewhere. Really enjoyed dipping those! I also got the Ahi Poke Stack, which comes with black rice (I was a bit skeptical reading the description, sounded funky), but it was delicious. Loved the bright, acidic flavors--it cut through nicely and everything came together really well. Appetizers were flavorful and well-executed, no complaints there... but they do feel expensive for the portion sizes we got. For the entrée, I went with the Bacon-Jalapeño Jam Burger. The jam had a pleasant, light sweetness with just a subtle jalapeño kick--not too spicy, which was nice. The patty was cooked medium well, not dry exactly, but it lacked that juicy drip you'd expect. My plate was basically bone-dry, no juices running, which confirmed it wasn't as moist as it could be. The other ingredients (charred red bell pepper, smoked mozzarella, whiskey caramelized onions, etc.) blended in without really standing out or popping. Fries were crispy and nicely seasoned, good amount of flavor there. Portion-wise, the burger and fries felt small, especially with no drink included--it came out to around $20, which felt a bit steep for what we got. Overall, the food is good quality and creative, but the value isn't quite there for the price/portions in my opinion. Service was fine (didn't have any issues), and the place has a fun atmosphere. Everything about this place is cozy and pleasant. It's sort of an American Diner crossed with a Sports Bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. I came in to try a hamburger, because I'm always searching for a new favorite. I've tried two off the menu so far, and they were both top notch. Downside is, of course, they were both $18 with a few fries. Also tried a Goat Cheese Citrus Salad which was absolutely delicious and serving size was perfect. The burger was juicy and delicious! The bartender was fun and attentive and make sure I always had a beer and a full glass of water in front of me. We were visiting from LA and luckily found this restaurant near our hotel. Looked like great from previous reviews so we gave it a shot. Luckily we were able to get seated for seven people in their patio area. Our waitress name was Rita, and she was super nice, helpful, gave great suggestions and accommodated all of our requests with pleasure. We ordered the brussels sprouts (so good we ordered again ) and fried pickles to start and then for dinner I ordered the Al Pastor store fish taco, which was super tasty and spicy (highly recommended). The kids ordered mac & cheese and cheeseburger, they enjoyed very much! The other adults ordered the fig jam, burger, and double smash burger , also very very tasty ! Ditto My mom chose this place for our regular lunch get-together. She'd been here before with stepdad. It was years ago, and enjoyed it. I never knew Eureka was here because it's sorta tucked away -- not too visible from HWY 111 either. This hidden gem is located in a nice and fairly large strip mall on the other side of IW Coffee. I've been to this shopping plaza a dozen times for Sprouts and CVS. But as mentioned, it's located in a spot I've never noticed -- even while parking not too far away to go shop at Sprouts. Some other things I never knew about Eureka? There's 30 locations -- mostly in California and others in ARZ, NV, Texas and Boise Idaho too... Their burgers are outstanding... Their menu is simple and not too overwhelming... Sorta like a glorified gastropub with their own creative spin... They have Daily Specials & Happy (Hoppy) Hours... Eureka is a privately owned well-oiled corporate chain machine. The hostess was nice & welcoming, and allowed us to sit at a larger comfy booth in the back for more privacy, rather than the smaller tables towards the front. Indoor seating capacity is a bit limited and some of the tables are sandwiched close together, so you'll probably get to know your dining neighbors. There's an outdoor patio that's probably very popular & busy when the weather is cooler. Kim was our incredible waitress & server. Right away she displayed an award winning personality and sense of humor. Mom was craving a burger too, but since she had dinner plans later and intended to have a Filet, she decided to be good and ordered the Protein Bowl with Tofu. The past 2 years, I've spent most of my time in the Coachella Valley, but don't recall seeing any marketing nor advertising for Eureka. I have noticed that my Yelp Friends in Coachella Valley have been here and enjoyed it very much, as I did too. Perhaps Eureka's marketing team can do a little more to promote the place (other than GrubHub and "word of mouth") and get the word out there a little more. Because I'm certain people will come....and there's many others out there, like me, who never knew you existed. And that's a shame because the food quality, service and atmosphere is all excellent. I make it a point to visit Eureka! every year on spring break, and it never disappoints. One of the best parts is the outdoor patio. We always try to sit outside because the atmosphere is just right. It does get busy, but with a reservation it is never an issue. Food is consistently great. I always get the Napa chicken sandwich and it has been excellent every time. My girlfriend ordered the fish tacos and street corn and she loved both. Everything feels well made and reliable, which is a big reason we keep coming back. Hi, local native here and food and hospitality worker with over 15 years of experience working locally. So... we dined yesterday at the IW location to celebrate a 8th grade promotion. And Wow, just about the whole experience was so bad that our group just had to laugh at it all. I wasn't going to post, I usually don't feel the need too, I am usually very understanding of restaurants because I could understand from BOH to FOH all that can factor into service, but after waking up today with peeling shoulders from the amount of sun I received yesterday while dining, I had it. Firstly, we arrived to our reservation with a party of 8, (two of them being elderly) and were placed outside on the one long table that sits under heaters. It was 111 degrees outside when we arrived. (I checked the temp. When we arrived) The whole patio was empty except one 4top. I said to the host(young short man) we are placed on the one table that does not have fans or water misters or shade, can we move. He looked at me, said nothing with an unhappy face and left quickly back inside. I didn't see him again. So we all just sat as we didn't want to take other tables with out permission. Server came, and quickly asked for drinks order. We clearly kept talking about how we are in direct sun with no fans or misters and other tables are in the shade, the server ignored our comments and continued asking for orders. We were shading our faces with the menus! Haha So with that we figured it was clear we couldn't move. I then walked inside to use the restroom and see two open large tables, along with the manager upfront assisting the host. I waiting a few minutes upfront to discuss this however after a few mins of waiting up front and not having the turn to be addressed I walked away. Now on to the food...it wasn't what I remembered or expected. As I used to come often to Eureka, however it's been a few years since my last visit. Portions were much smaller, I upgraded (additional $3) to sweet potato fries and it was hardly anything. In the past I remember always taking my sweet potato fries to go because I could never finish them. I asked for honey and cinnamon like the og style, never got it. Server never came and checked in with how the food is as I would have asked for the honey. We then sat for a very long time waiting for the server to return as we have been done with food for a generous amount of time while sitting directly in the sun. She then removed only a few plates and came back with the check. (No busser ever came to clear the table correctly) we asked for dessert menu and again waited for that. We ordered 3 cheesecakes and again wow, it was honestly the worst cheesecake I've ever had. It was spicy too. Lol (manager please taste it for yourself) we all just left it. So get this, we are sunburnt at this point still fully in sun contact, getting close to heat stroke at this point and eating terrible spicy cheesecake! That's when we all just started to laugh! So then here comes the check, a few hundred dollars, so we still tip too generously and hand the server cash. She quickly puts it in her pocket and jets back inside. Oh and a few of our cups had food stuck to the glass....which was never corrected. If we went to Habit burger we would have experienced a superior service compared to this at a fraction of the price. Come on Eureka team, try at least a little bit, that shown no effort at all. And do better management, you were just assisting in hosting yesterday (while not busy) and failed at that. read more

We sat at the outdoor patio. It was our first time here at this restaurant. 1) Food was great - Everything we ate was delicious!! Brussels sprouts were amazing. The burgers were bomb! The goat cheese citrus salad was yummy. 2) Service was just ok. Our server was friendly enough but the one who served us our drinks had a look on her face that said "I don't want to be here." 3) my husband ordered the Tipsy Pig Old Fashioned. When we poured the drink from the pig to the glass, a good amount of the liquid spilled out from the top part of the pig. The server should tell people how to properly pour it so none of the drink is wasted. Good drink though! 4) A person 2 tables away supposedly asked for the heater to be turned on so all the tables on our side got blasted with heat! It was a nice 73 degrees and after the heat turned on, it felt like 95. Our server said there was nothing she can do because someone requested heat. You should either have individual heat lamps because it's not fair for others to be uncomfortable. We would've stayed longer for dessert but it was too hot. We will be back again because the food was pretty good, but we will remember to ask to be seated where there won't be heaters. read more

I'm vegetarian and I had fried pickles with the veggie tacos. The flavor is good, but I do wish there was more of a variety of vegetables in the tacos. There were too many carrots. My friend and I ordered a mocktail, after taking a sip it tasted like there was still some alcohol in there. The waitress let us know there is still just under 1% alcohol, but we do wish there was a note about that on the menu, as we are 100% sober. The service was fine, I'm not sure if our waitress was having an off night or just a super busy night, but our drink situation was resolved and we enjoyed our food.
