After being evacuated from stagecoach, we were hungry and it was late. We were staying in Palm Desert and wanted something nearby that would have dinner and wouldn't be closing soon as it was around 10:15pm. There was no wait time and we were seated right away. They are located right in front of a parking lot area and we were able to park right there. They have a very casual ambience very sports bar feeling but also family friendly. Because of stagecoach, there were multiple people from the festival. It was really nice to come in and have the AC cold. The environment was relaxing and welcoming. I was super excited to see that they had a healthy menu with the under 700 that wasn't just a small portion but actually just not as bad for you. I really enjoyed the cilantro lime chicken dish with cauliflower rice and the veggies. I would definitely get this again as I was full after the meal. My bf decided to go for the pepper jack burger and onion rings. The onion rings were very fresh and crunchy. The burger was cooked just as he ordered. It is also great that they have a vast selection of beers on tap. My bf had the Allagash curioux and I had a Guinness. Overall this was a great experience with tasty food.
SHORT ANSWER: Yes, this place has been great for us... I've done a few reviews so this is an update to my other updates.. LOCATION: In The River in Rancho Mirage, hard to miss, lots of parking but at times this entire center gets slammed. Since Babe's left the property, it seems like the property is still active. Lease rates here are kind of out of touch with the market. FACILITY: So nice inside, well laid out with tons of space, TV, beer, and booths and tables. MENU: great option, look online you will find what you want, need. FOOD PREP: perfect on each of our visits, for what it is they do a great job... kitchen manager must be Jedi. FOOD QUALITY: very good, tastes as good as it looks and we've ordered many of the options here, doubtful you will be disappointed. LIBATIONS: Large and in charge, we did not drink anything on the visit but I am sure at peak hours or events, this place is happening. WAITSTAFF: ALWAYS IMPRESSED, from reception to server, people are nice, fun, and seem happy to be working there... Not always the case in these type of restaurants. Our server, Alexiss, was just so amazing, ask for her section and tip her like you're a billionaire. OVERALL VALUE: very good, we shared a burger not to be cheap, rather that is all we can eat. Never anyone complaining with some split plate fee, we tip for two and don't need to waste take-home containers for food we usually throw away. This is a well managed establishment which is not easy in this thin margin business... so impressed I am... ya more Yoda Jedi speak! TIP: Outdoor seating is very nice, pretty quiet but can a little warm in the hots months.
I've eaten at Yard House a handful of times over the years but not frequently. That needs to change because they have REALLY good food! Also great happy hour deals too. Me and my husband came here 2 nights in a row while in town; mainly because it was walking distance from our hotel. The first visit we shared a cheese pizza. Simple and delicious! My husband is picky when it comes to pizza and he really liked this one. The next night we came back with the other couple we were vacationing with... we got a giant pretzel to share. Yum! A shrimp appetizer dish. Delicious! And spicy beef noodles which were fantastic.
Went w a party of 9 around 6pm on a weekend w a reservation. We experienced friendly and quick service in a very busy restaurant. We were never left waiting for a refill! You are able to pay by item or split the check with the kiosk on the table. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. There is a tv in every direction w various sports on.
Best deals are during Happy Hour which runs Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm where you can get 50% off select appetizers and pizzas. All the dishes are full-portions. I went during Happy Hour and each dish was between $8-$9 which is really a fantastic deal. I like that you can order and pay directly from the tablet that's on the table. Even though I utilized the tablet, the server was friendly and she consistently checked on me and made sure my beverage was refilled. I blame the good deals for enabling me to be a big back. I ended up ordering four dishes even though I was dining alone. 1. Chicken Nachos: A hefty portion that comes with chicken, tomato's, fresh sliced jalapeños, cilantro, green onion, sour cream and guacamole. Cheese is baked onto the tortilla chips and finished with a drizzle of salsa. A bit skimpy of the protein, I did wish there was more chicken. 2. Truffled Mushroom Pizza: Great if you like a strong umami mushroom flavor. A mix of shiitake, cremini and oyster mushrooms and drizzled with truffle aioli. The crust was decent and a good amount of cheese. A little greasy. 3. Poke Nachos: Love the crunch from the fried wonton chips. Comes with raw tuna, fresh avocado, serrano peppers, green onions, nori, and drizzled with sriracha aïoli, white truffle sauce, and sweet soy ginger sauce. I think they used a bit too much soy ginger sauce because it was a tad salty. Still a very refreshing dish! 4. Classic Sliders: Generously comes with four sliders topped with cheddar and their special sauce. Comes with a side of fries and pickles. I loved the brioche buns and as basic as cheeseburgers are, this was probably my favorite dish. I was stuffed and had plenty to take home. Overall a good experience!
Visiting from out of town so stopped in on a Thursday afternoon for a quick bite with family. The place was packed, but we were able to grab a table quickly. Chips + guacamole and edamame for apps were great. We ordered the HH buffalo pizza, the burger and fries and the kale Caesar - all were good choices - large portions and flavorful. Plenty of parking nearby.
In the area for a few nights and stopped in to see a football game with a few of our friends. Unbelievable selection of draft beers, great food and awesome bartenders. The Mango Cart is delicious and a must try, along with the Ahi Stack, and Blackened Chicken Cesar salad. Located at the Riverwalk amongst many other restaurants, stores and bars. The Yard House is loud, has many T.V.s and is conveniently located to many hotels in the area. We all had a great time at the bar top and would highly recommended watching a football game here, the energy was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Cheers!
Ambiance is that of a sports bar, but better, with more of a rock vibe. Beer selection was excellent! Our server, Alexis, was friendly and prompt. She kept an eye on us to be sure our drinks were filled and table cleared. Happy hour is the time to go with drink specials and half off most apps. We got the poke nachos and it had to be one of the best things we've had in a long time! I could have had another plate and been super happy! Also got the black pepper whiskey nuggets which we good but nothing compared those nachos! Would recommend!

It was empty when we got there and filled up quickly. So I get being in the weeds. Our POS terminal was removed after she spilled beer all over my kid. She left and eventually came back. This normally is our go to spot for a late lunch as you can't go wrong with the food. Normally we would have ordered more drinks and even refills through the machine. She finally showed up after the manager came to assist us settling the check. Her demeanor when she realized we had escalated getting out of there is worthy of a write up. Her smile and smugness and overall demeanor lacked maturity and professionalism for her age. Hard pass on her but still a solid place to enjoy good food with great prices. No attempt to upsell from her whatsoever....
Great experience, have not been to a Yard House in a very long time. Not sure why when there is one close to me, just was not on my radar. Love the fact this is a beer lovers paradise, they have over 100 beers on tap, on top of that, their pizza is excellent, very unexpected, but very happy I tried it. I got the Carnivore, pepperoni, seasoned beef, spicy sausage, crispy bacon, mozzarella and tomato. Great mix of flavors with the various toppings, the crust was soft, with crisp edges very tasty all around. I did go in for one of their Yard's of beer, just had to experience it once I guess. This thing was very tall, but it is actually not as big as you think, it is 32 ounces. It was cold and tasted great. My server was super cool, helpful, gave me suggestions and I was even able to try a few samples of different beers. Great experience. This is a very large Yard House, modern interior, concrete all around. Very clean inside with a ton of seating inside as well as a big patio for sitting outside. Located in a very pretty area with fountains and outdoor seating areas. They have a huge parking lot as well, so parking is not an issue. Enjoy!
The food here was decent, but unfortunately the overall experience was overshadowed by very poor service. Our large party asked for an outdoor table to be wiped down, and the manager responded rudely, saying they were too busy to do it. Even though the restaurant was clearly busy, the attitude and lack of basic courtesy were disappointing. The ambiance however was fine. Service throughout the visit was slow and not friendly, which really took away from what could have been an enjoyable meal. With better customer service, this place could offer a much more positive experience, but based on this visit, it fell short.
The food and drinks were amazing the services out of this world huge selection of food drinks and it was just a good time all around. This Yard House look particularly nice plenty of seating and I could hear our conversation and said being drowned out by the music.

Funny how every time I've been here it's alway for happy hours. That alway means one thing, it's worth it. This location, which I've been to a few times is quite nice. Located at The River, a little shopping and dining area in the desert. More dining than shopping as there's like 3 shops there. REI being the main shop and also the biggest. The others are small mom and pop shops. Yard house, with a few other dining options do offer happy hours which is amazing. Also if you check out NextDoor, loads have mentioned that YH is great for happy hour. We stopped in right after 3 when HH started. It was still pretty mellow inside and the bar counter had a few people. We seated ourselves as we wanted the bar. It did take a little while until someone actually acknowledged us. After that it was fine. Sylvana took care of us which I believe she had before. Sweet and friendly and made sure that we were taken cared of. Within 15 minutes or so after we got seated, the place did picked up a lot. I'm thinking it was for HH as the bar area was full as well as the surrounding hi top tables. People know about their great deals. Drinks are well priced, cocktails and wine are also offered. Then you have the food, half off on appetizers. Majority of them available minus a few that aren't listed. We wanted something to munch on as we were having dinner later on. Shared the mushroom pizza which I highly recommend. Thin crust but very tasty with the sweet glaze. One of my favorite item for HH. Also the chicken lettuce wrap. Seemed like the lettuce has gotten less and less...lol... Still a decent amount of meat inside a fried wonton cup and served with two dipping sauce. Simple dish but quite delicious. Both item is a recommendation and alway delicious. All the Yard house are consistent with their food so you know what to expect at whatever location you maybe at. If you haven't been for HH, it's one of the better one and well priced. read more

We watched the Dodger World Series at the Yard House last night and had the best time ever thanks to our server Lauren. It was her 6th day on the job and she did fantastic!!! She continued to check us throughout the evening and made sure we good every chance she could. We will be coming back again thanks to Lauren. She was so kind to my wife and I, and our friends. She sang happy birthday with us which was so much fun. Our friends and I had such amazing time and with humans like Lauren they really make a difference. Ohhhhh and the pretzel is soooo good and is a must have! Thank you for hiring her! Go Dodgers! read more

I had a great time coming to this place! It was packed on the day I tried this place for the first time but we were able to get a table in less than 30 mins and we got some great service while there also the table booth we were seated at was big and spacious. :) The place was very lively (especially since that day was a game day when we went) but even tho there was lots of people it didn't feel crowded. The food was SO GOOD, I really LOVED the truffle fries they had, also both the pizza and chicken tenders were good. :D I really recommend coming to this place to eat, I also recommend coming by during its happy hour since they have lots of good options! :D read more

Booked a reservation for 9 on a Saturday night and had no trouble getting seated. Service was fast and accommodating for the two toddlers in our group. The food was good. I got the truffle cheese burger and the portion and the taste were good. It was really convenient to split the check with the device at our table! read more

Food was definitely mediocre at best. The service was very bad at this location. We made a reservation for 8 people they tried to squeeze us at a table of 6 and when we asked for a different table the manager came to tell us no because they were too busy to clean any other tables off. So we had to separate our party and then our food came 20 min apart. Would not recommend this location at all! read more
Great service, have come here quite a few times. The food is great, and it's dim lighting inside. Music can be a little loud, but if you don't mind that this is a great place to come and have lunch or dinner. Came here with my mom the other day and the food was so good. read more

I've never been to a Yard House until tonight. I thoroughly the 80s tunes and general vibe of the place. My Kale Ceasar with Chicken was a solid portion and the roasted brussels, pistachio nuts and white raisins gave the salad its great taste. Perfect portion for a light later in the day meal. So I finally tried the fish & chips & unfortunately it was more batter than fish, coleslaw was mushy & fries tasted stale.. My favorite mocktail I always ordered was taken off the menu. Service was a bit slow & ambiance was off. Also ordered poke nachos as a favorite appetizer but all the poke was portioned in the middle with a lack of chips to fully enjoy... read more

Happy hour is the time to go!! Almost all appetizers are half off (so around 8 dollars each including pizza) and such big portions! Service there is mostly very prompt and convenient. Alcohol is also 2$ off! The place is absolutely humongous but don't be surprised if it's packed with a line out of the door! It's busy for a reason, a great place to eat and drink with friends even on a budget! Would pass on the lavender martini and stick to their orange cream martini! 8/10 definitely will come again! read more
