Great food!! Everything perfect as ordered, good customer service. Love the sandwiches and vermicelli bowls here!

Really nice fresh baguette pretty delicious vegetarian bahn mi .. has to ask them to add basil and mint but in general very satisfying. Spring rolls very good . Peanut sauce was lacking a lil ... strange extra charges on my order in the web page went from 27 to 37 without being asked I would have tipped but max tip on to Go order in my opinion should be a choice .. but enjoyed fresh and tasty . Thanks la baguette we will come again

No basil or mint and 1 little cilantro strand

I ordered a chicken salad online, and was really looking forward to the cilantro, basil and mint, but they only gave me one strand of cilantro!!! No basil and no mint! those condiments were the only reason I drove from Indio just to get this salad. Very disappointed.

Surprising but pleasant find for Palm Desert - good spot to hit up if youre craving a good banh mi! Casual counter service restaurant, our orders were taken quickly and when I didn't order a drink, they even put it water in a to go cup for me :) The combo sandwich was solid, with a good amount of fillings. They forgot my jalapenos the first time but once I asked they quickly gave me some to put in my sandwich. There are about 4-5 tables inside, enough seating if you're grabbing a quick bite. Located in a strip mall, with plenty of parking. Good stop for a casual lunch!

I may have come on an off day, but this was just okay. The service was kind of awkward, as when we walked in, no one greeted us, the lady just kind of looked at us and continued doing what she was doing. I even questioned to myself if they were still opened, but they were. It was a bit unwelcoming at first. I also think it is ridiculously overpriced. We ordered 3 sandwiches & one tea with boba and it was over $50. For that amount, I was expecting it to be great, especially with the good reviews..it was just okay. They were busy though, so many other people like the place. Maybe we ordered wrong, but the place is called La Baguette. The shop is nestled in the corner with plenty of parking. It isn't somewhere to go to if you want a quiet place to eat. I think they mostly do take-out orders.

Love this place! Bread is so crispy and fresh, workers are always so friendly and service is so quick.

I love a great banh mi, but they're not that easy to find. Fortunately, La Baguette Vietnamese Sandwiches makes a great banh mi. The banh mi my wife and I ordered was on a freshly baked baquette with pate, mayo, pickled daikon, carrots, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno and soy sauce. It was really filling and delicious ---- all the flavors came together just right! To complement it, I had the fresh spring rolls --- wrapped in rice paper with lettuce, pickled daikon, carrots, cucumber, mint, thai basil, and verimcelli and served with delicious dipping sauce. The ingredients for both the banh mi and the spring rolls were very fresh. The gentleman behind the counter who took our order and served us was very friendly. The ambiance is nice, but definitely nothing fancy. You're there to eat, not linger. The food is the star here --- and the food, for the quantity and quality that you get, is very reasonably priced.

Went to Palm springs for a weekend trip and was stuck in traffic for hours so I was hungry and needed to use the restroom. Did a quick Yelp check getting if the frwy and saw this spot. Was curious if a bahn mi way out in palm springs would be any good. It's a fairly small establishment tucked away in a corner next to a fast food joint. I wasn't expecting non Asian owners, county music, and so many different choices. I got the pork bahn mi to go and a Vietnamese coffee. The sandwich was surprisingly good. I asked for the pate which is an extra charge which may have been extra charge. It's a necessary ingredient in a legit bahn mi so it was weird that you have to ask for it but I guess they have to cater to their demographics. The bread still had a good crunch to it when I got back to the house and the flavors of everything went well together. The Vietnamese coffee tasted like it should and was stong as expected. Overall good experience and thinking of getting some for the drive home.

This is one of the best Banh mi places in Palms Springs! I got the Combo Banh Mi (5/5) that comes with pork belly and ham. It's $13 for one and they load it up with a lot of meat, generous veggies, and you must get it with the pate on! The bread was nice and pillowy on the inside with a good crunch on the outside. I really love how they spread a generous slab of pate and mayo on the fresh bread, then add on huge portions of pork belly and ham. They don't skimp on the pickled veggies and cilantro and jalapeños to balance out the fattiness of the banh mi. I was filled for hours after eating one and it satisfied my craving for Asian food while in Palms Springs. I did wish the bread was a little more warm/toasted but it was a great experience with the taste, portion size, and freshness!

Nice place- cozy . Food is ok, nothing special. The service however is bad. Waited a while 18 min for a vermicelli Bowl and mind you, there was only one table and no one else was waiting. There's another Vietnamese restaurant near by, I would rather go back there as that place is more attentive than this. I can see the people in the kitchen and they don't look busy at all.

It tastes so fresh, light and absolutely delightful, like someone's grandma made this sandwich with love. I love La Baguette, been coming here for 3 years. I have tried so many different items and there is nothing I have not liked. Highly recommend.

The first time I ordered takeout, and actually ended up not eating this until the next day. Everything was delicious and the broth reheated well. The portions are HUGE - I usually order an extra serving of noodles and still don't get as much as this standard order. Same with the rare steak - it was double the amount I usually receive, and my meal was $20. The broth is flavorful and clear to slightly cloudy with a rich amber color - just like fresh, homemade bone broth should be - broth had just the right amount of fat and collagen, which is expected and desired. Flavor was on point with warming spices and just the right amount of salt. All items were boxed separately, including a nice portion of cilantro and chopped white onion. The package of add-ins contained a ton of bean sprouts, large slices of jalapeno and a big bunch of fresh, tender Thai basil. I enjoyed the dish so much that I returned the next day and ordered the same meal, although this time I asked for extra lime because I enjoy the extra brightness that citrus gives the soup. My broth had cooled a bit on the journey home, so I warmed it in a measuing cup and found that the portion was a full 3 cups of broth. Again, the noodle portion was 3x what I typically receive at any other restaurant, and the meat portion was also huge. I asked for extra limes and received about 6 wedges in a separate bag. All of the other add-ins were the same as before, fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Both days the food came out in less than 10 minutes. The service was less friendly than some, but I don't expect a lot other than the food to be good. This is likely a family-run business, not a franchise that makes chicken sandwiches. My order was 100% perfect both days, the food was exceptionally good and the portions alone are worth it if you're hungry (I actually had more than I could eat in one sitting both times, and that is not normal for me when eating pho).

On our journey to Palm Springs my team left the food choices to me since I'm picky. Lol. We showed up on a Wednesday night (note that they do not open Monday and Tuesday), around 4:40 PM. There was already a long line of individuals waiting to get in. There were about 15 people ahead of us. At opening, we were immediately sat down into the second dining room to the right of the restaurant. It gives a different vibe than the main room with its red bench seating and lantern ceiling. Although the benches were high, and the tables were a little low, we managed. Of course, we tried the complementary congee. Which I love, but my colleagues were not a big fan of. We ordered the calamari and the crispy beef noodle. We also ordered the shrimp and mango spring roll, the softshell crab and green papaya salad, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. The shining stars, for my colleagues were the calamari and crispy beef noodle. Followed by the shrimp and mango spring rolls and the softshell crab. The three of us did not enjoy the pork belly at all even though it came recommended. We actually only ate 2 pieces. The food overall was good although we wish we didn't get the pork or at least stuck to our goal of four main dishes. The waitress recommended we get one more and that's when we added the pork. Next time we will go with our gut instinct. One thing that was disappointing on this visit was that when we ordered drinks, one of them came out in a can. We were under the assumption it was a draft pour. For $14 it should have been noted that it is canned. The way that it is written into the menu no one would assume otherwise.

I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal. We placed a large order in advanced online, ample of time for them to make. Upon arrival, our food was nowhere to be found. Apparently it was grabbed by someone else by mistake or on purpose. My question is, why does this establishment place their online and phone orders by the doorway? The orders are placed on a shelf by the door and food that have been sitting there can be taken by anyone. Supposedly, we were told that it wasn't the first time it's happened. That is has been happening lately that people have been grabbing food either by mistake or taking them. Why now are they doing anything about it? Why didn't they fix that issue when it happened the first time? This is the first time I've ever seen any food spot place togo orders by the door that way. I'm not sure if it's laziness or that's more efficient and quicker for them to get rid of the order. That's a huge problem right there. Anyone can take food by mistake or just plain steal them. This place is small. The staff should have delivery personnel come up to the register and ask for the orders. It's not that hard. All orders should be behind the counter. Apparently a delivery guy came in there and grabbed an order then proceeded to take our bag as well. It's a logistics issue that shouldn't even be a concern. They did fix the problem but we had to wait for them to remake everything all over again so we had to wait again. We the customers had to ask them to accommodate us and have them solve their problems. The staff are young people. They were nice about it but I suggest better service and be more attentive and quick. It was an $80+ order and the food was alright. Expensive and was mediocre. Need more flavor on most and the position could be better. Overall, they did fix the issue, but this place needs to do better.
