Great place to go... the employees are nice, the place is small and quaint. The sandwich I got was good and had a lot of flavor. I was thinking the sandwich's were going to be a little bit bigger. This place went under new ownership/management a couple years back. Dropped in for lunch today and I love how they've expanded the menu. People were friendly and the place was clean. Best sandwich shop in the area, by far! I've worked my way through several items on their extensive menu, and my favorites are the Karv and the Italian. No matter what sandwich you choose, I highly recommend getting it on their toasted baguette bread--just ask to substitute the bread option, and you won't regret it. The word is definitely getting out, and wait times can be a little longer than I'd prefer during busy periods. That said, the quality of the food makes it well worth the extra few minutes. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and consistently delicious sandwiches keep me coming back. Highly recommended! read more

It's a small shop in an industrial part of the city. The inside is pretty tight and if there are more than 5 people inside, it's going to be tight. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich but they were out of sourdough. Our order came out.... They were out of brown bags. They were out of their own name. The order took a bit longer than expected...around 20 minutes. My daughter ordered a tuna melt. I was hoping to have found a gem but I found some coal. read more

Foods takes a bit longer as they made it fresh. Tasted great, small deli feel. Wife had the South Cliff melt & I had the Austin smokehouse. Why one star loss? Size portion, wife's sandwich only had a little chipotle mayo (it makes the sandwich) and it took a while to be acknowledged when we first got there, lost in ordering. Reccomended by my old co worker Anond, this place was an absolute hit. After walking in, I was quite frankly introduced and more than just pleasnatries were exchanged. Genuine asking of names and if I worked nearby and where I came from. From that introduction came another, which was the menu and they took the time to go over every item or "if we got it we'll make it" which is an awesome attitude you want to have from a sandwhich shop! I went for the Turkey and to be fair Turkey isn't my go to, it's pastrami and as much as I was dying to try it I'm on a strict diet. This Turkey was amazing. I think it all came together with the unique ingredients that they found to work perfectly with their sliced Turkey. I gobbled (if you will excuse the pun) up every last bit and the portion was surprisingly big and fulling. As I write this nearly seven hours after writing this I'm completely full. Prices were reasonable that chips/sandwhich and two cookies were all well under $14. I'll be back! Just wish it was a bit more accessible but here is hoping they expand. I can tell the crew here are very comfortable and have a lot of fun! A win and must try for sandwhich lovers read more

Excellent, excellent sandwiches. We had the BLTAC and the West Coast to go. We wanted to eat lunch before heading into the tennis tournament, but they were so large, a half came in with us for a late afternoon snack. Really tasty combos with great bread, avocado, good sauciness, good tomatoes, lettuce, and heaping meats and bacon! We usually eat less meat, but hey, on vacay! I would say these are outstanding sandwiches. Shop itself is totally hidden. We didn't even see its name. Yelp steered us here, and we encourage you to try too--if you like decadent sandwiches! So it's been a few years since I've eaten here. I brought my coworker with me. We both ordered the pastrami sandwich. I can honestly say this is the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. My coworker told me the pastrami is mind blowing. Not only are the sandwiches amazing, the service awesome. The staff is so nice, they treat everyone like family. This place is pretty hidden so it's easy to miss but it's So worth looking for. The brown bag is a must have for sure!! read more

I came during Christmas week which I do understand is a crazy week, especially for a spot like this as they seemed to have a lot of breads and desserts flying off of the shelves. So maybe their attention to detail was a little off? I came in to grab a sandwich for myself and my family. Went with three different varieties. I got the prime cut and then ordered the Tuscany and the my cousin Vinnie. My family said their Italian style sandwiches were just so so. I kind of felt the same way about my prime cut but I did like mine a little more than they liked theirs. Initially when I came in I really wanted to try their tuna sandwich with cheese jalapeño bread as this was one of the sandwiches highly reviewed but when I asked the gal about the freshness of the tuna, she let me know they make it every other day. I really appreciated her honesty, which is another reason I'm playing the 4 stars. Some places just BS you or tell you what you want to hear but I'm glad she was truthful to say, every other day. It's not that this is "bad" but with tuna I get weird and only could order it if it was fresh that day. So I skipped. Went with the prime cut which was a roast beef type of sandwich. The prime cut sandwich itself was an overall 3/5. My biggest critique was that the bread tasted super dry, almost stale? Maybe that's the style of that darker bread...I've never ordered it before but it wasn't for me and just made the sandwich a bit too dry, even after getting extra sauce. Despite the bread issue, I loved the rare roast beef and the zucchini was a lovely touch in the sandwich. Unique and I really liked that! Horseradish cream was tasty too, on the mild side but good. Overall the bread just didn't seal the deal for me. I'd come back here but not as a first choice sandwich option. I will say the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The store was clean and good signage for the sandwiches. Seemed like a popular place as lots of people in and out. A cute little perk is that the sandwiches come with a small side of potato salad and a pickle. Love that. The potato salad was actually delicious, 5/5. So random I know, but I loved it and I'd pay for a side of that for sure.
