Delicious Omelette... sausage, mushrooms, potatoes, and herbs YUM
    Layla M.

Loved the food & views. Had an omelette cooked to perfection with fresh herbs, sausage, mushrooms, & potatoes. I can't remember the name of it, but I already know I'll be ordering it again. OH my gosh! I almost forgot about the amazing Blueberry Pancakes! A must! We sat on the patio with gorgeous views and perfect weather. You really can't beat that. If you're ever in Rancho Mirage, this place is a hidden gem & definitely worth checking out. It's located in a small plaza with plenty of parking & beautiful mountain views. Looking forward to my next visit!

We've visited the Palms Cafe several times. This time we had Saturday brunch. The food here is good and plentiful. I enjoyed the burger and delicious onion rings. My husband liked the crab cake Benedict with home fries - but said they could have been warmer. The restaurant was very busy and noisy but the service was still great. Lots of easy parking available in the lot in front of the restaurant.

Biscuits and gravy, just kind of bland.

Service - friendly. Ambiance - festive. Kitchen - fast. Food - ok. I went for the first time and was sat super quick and was taken care of by Elizabeth. She was lovely and the perfect amount of attentive. The kitchen was on fire. I swear not two minutes after I put my order in, the food was out. Not really, but it was mega fast. My concern was the food, it was rather bland. I realize that they have to cook for all types of tastes, but there wasn't any flavor in anything. I had to add hot sauce e to it and then I got some seasoning. Unknown if I'll be back.

This is a must visit spot in Palm Springs. Every meal has been delicious, consistent and served up with warmth and hospitality! Their menu has everything to satisfy anyone's cravings. This non assuming coffee shop has a nice clean decor with neat picture booths. There's plenty of parking, so come on by and enjoy a meal

Not much new to report. We stopped in again for a late breakfast and still felt that the food was only okay (more seasoning needed) and the service was a little inefficient. I will say that the place was packed and most patrons we spoke with while waiting, love it. FOOD: We tried a simple 2 Eggs & Bacon and pancake breakfast ($15.45), as well as the Chili Cheese Omelet with biscuit & gravy ($18). My omelet was tasty, but the hash browns lacked a little salt, and the biscuits and gravy also needed something...both the sausage gravy and biscuit were "pasty" and a little bland. The eggs were supposed to be over easy, and they were well beyond (see picture). The 50's diner décor is cool and there's a nice outdoor patio, when it's not too hot out. Overall, we still thought the food was average, but it's always packed, so go figure. NOTE: The restrooms are located outside the restaurant, within an adjoining antiques mall. It's a little bit of a tricky trek to get there, especially for older customers.

Great patio and views. Great service Excellent tuna melt. Bathrooms are in the zombie mall that's attached.

    Delicious, chili, cheese, omelette!

Looks like they took out the cinnamon in the food now, so that is good. The chili cheese omelette is still the bomb, and the county Benedict was just ok. Knock off one star for the high prices, breakfast just shouldn't cost over $20 a plate at a cafe.

We came here on a lazy holiday Monday, mid-morning. While we were in a lazy mood, the staff was a hustling bunch. This restaurant is unpretentious - simple and straight-forward. They are a breakfast and lunch-time operation which makes their patio perfect for their opening hours. As we ate our brunch, I could tell this was a locals' favorite. Even though the staff was quick and efficient, they had plenty of time to be personable and friendly. We shared the Vegetable Quesadilla, see my pic. What you are seeing is mostly the tortilla: is was good and held up to the steam from the veggies. The side of salsa was very mild, a bit of lingering heat and had a moderate amount of flavor. The scoop of guac was mashed a fair amount, was reasonably fresh and was mildly flavored. What you aren't seeing are the veggies and cheese inside which the Palms has the right ratio. The cheese had a higher fat content so is smooth and creamy, while the veggies still had a bit crunch. It was a fairly decent snack for mid-morning.

yes. for sure outside they are very accomodating for pets. inside I think so to, but call to confirm.

Yes champagne and they are getting a full bar.

Does this place have a wait in the morning?

I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was really good. The eggs were perfectly poached, the salmon was generous, and the hollandaise was creamy without feeling too heavy. I also liked that it came with fresh berries on the side, which made the whole plate feel a little lighter. We also shared the bread and cheese board, and surprisingly, the pear with the date spread was probably one of my favorite bites. The pear was crisp and fresh, and that sweet, rich date spread was seriously addictive. I kept going back for more. The bread, nuts, cheese, and other little bites on the board made it really fun to share. The drinks were refreshing too, and the presentation was beautiful without trying too hard. Definitely one of those places where I'd come back with friends for a slow weekend brunch. The food was good, but the charming patio and overall vibe were probably my favorite part.

For $69, we have amuse bouche, free bread sticks, appetizer, main dish and a dessert. The portion is generous! For amuse-bouche, we had quiche and bacon on top. It is not the usual bacon. It tasted like Vietnamese beef jerky... quite a surpise! For appetizer, we had gazpacho and beet salad. Both are very refreshing and perfect for summer time. For main dish, steak and chillean seabass. For desserts, we had tiramisu and cheese cake. Everything is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have not had one bad dish here!

Unlike so many other parts of trips out here - the oppressive heat, dodging careening buggies driven by seemingly lost and possibly inebriated golfers, and the discovery of sand in eyes / nose / shoes / liver - it's a tradition that sits very well with me. I'd even go as far as saying that the food here makes all of the above worthwhile. The restaurant has a car park to the rear and limited street parking in front. The interior has a lovely ambiance, quietly refined by subtle lighting and a gentle arboreal theme. I've seen it busy and our party has also had the place to ourselves on late visits, but I'd definitely recommend a reservation just in case especially with a larger party. The staff provide attentive and genuinely caring service, and the portion sizes are substantial and easily justify the more-than-reasonable cost. The food itself though is the reason this place is always a highlight reel spot for me. Every dish is a feast for the eyes as well as the palette, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. My personal go-to is the perfectly seasoned and healthy Harvest Salad, usually with an added protein (the blackened chicken adds a real flavor kick and the variety in texture that I love in great food). Fortunately my partner happily defaults to the opulent and delightful Lobster Lasagna, as I'd be loath to miss out on a bite or three of that too. Appetizer-wise, I'm yet to regret any soup-of-the-day choice. The Zucchini last night was... well... yep, perfect is no overstatement. Sweet Basil is an absolute gem, and a must-visit for any visitor here. The only even remotely negative things I can think to mention is to be aware of the rather early closing time for at least part of the year.

Tho I haven't dined here before, I've made my presence known, and previously checked out the place to inquire ~~ more than once. I was blown away when Edgar remembered me...and thanked me & wifey for finally coming in for a little late-night dinner/snack. Wifey was craving onion rings...so whatever she wants she gets ~~ with limits that is ;) Since her favorite onion rings are 130 miles away in LA (Culver City) at Johnnie's Pastrami, we've been searching for a good back-up. Heard & read a lot of great things about their beer battered onion rings. We were not disappointed. Make sure to splurge and spend the extra 2 bucks for a full order instead of a half. Wifey enjoyed her mini burger...and it was the perfect size. The bun was fresh and held up well, which is always important. I went off the board and wanted just a simple plain burger patty, because I wasn't too hungry. But that's one of the best ways to judge quality. No bells no whistles. Just the beef...and a knife & fork. Like a good steak. It was tender & juicy and I was a very happy camper. h2O was all we needed on this night...and refills were fulfilled voluntarily. As expected, Edgar provided excellent customer service...and we all shared some playful banter throughout our dining experience. Tony's Burgers is a very chill & cozy place. It's darkly lit. There's lots of booths to sit comfortably...and lots of flatscreen tvs on the walls showing sports. There's a large bar area too with stools. I can see why this place is so popular with the locals.
