Quick, good menu. The Huevos could use less salsa but otherwise good The inside has the coolest booths

We've visited the Palms Cafe several times. This time we had Saturday brunch. The food here is good and plentiful. I enjoyed the burger and delicious onion rings. My husband liked the crab cake Benedict with home fries - but said they could have been warmer. The restaurant was very busy and noisy but the service was still great. Lots of easy parking available in the lot in front of the restaurant.

Delicious Omelette... sausage, mushrooms, potatoes, and herbs YUM

Loved the food & views. Had an omelette cooked to perfection with fresh herbs, sausage, mushrooms, & potatoes. I can't remember the name of it, but I already know I'll be ordering it again. OH my gosh! I almost forgot about the amazing Blueberry Pancakes! A must! We sat on the patio with gorgeous views and perfect weather. You really can't beat that. If you're ever in Rancho Mirage, this place is a hidden gem & definitely worth checking out. It's located in a small plaza with plenty of parking & beautiful mountain views. Looking forward to my next visit!

Biscuits and gravy, just kind of bland.

Service - friendly. Ambiance - festive. Kitchen - fast. Food - ok. I went for the first time and was sat super quick and was taken care of by Elizabeth. She was lovely and the perfect amount of attentive. The kitchen was on fire. I swear not two minutes after I put my order in, the food was out. Not really, but it was mega fast. My concern was the food, it was rather bland. I realize that they have to cook for all types of tastes, but there wasn't any flavor in anything. I had to add hot sauce e to it and then I got some seasoning. Unknown if I'll be back.

This is a must visit spot in Palm Springs. Every meal has been delicious, consistent and served up with warmth and hospitality! Their menu has everything to satisfy anyone's cravings. This non assuming coffee shop has a nice clean decor with neat picture booths. There's plenty of parking, so come on by and enjoy a meal

Not much new to report. We stopped in again for a late breakfast and still felt that the food was only okay (more seasoning needed) and the service was a little inefficient. I will say that the place was packed and most patrons we spoke with while waiting, love it. FOOD: We tried a simple 2 Eggs & Bacon and pancake breakfast ($15.45), as well as the Chili Cheese Omelet with biscuit & gravy ($18). My omelet was tasty, but the hash browns lacked a little salt, and the biscuits and gravy also needed something...both the sausage gravy and biscuit were "pasty" and a little bland. The eggs were supposed to be over easy, and they were well beyond (see picture). The 50's diner décor is cool and there's a nice outdoor patio, when it's not too hot out. Overall, we still thought the food was average, but it's always packed, so go figure. NOTE: The restrooms are located outside the restaurant, within an adjoining antiques mall. It's a little bit of a tricky trek to get there, especially for older customers.

Great patio and views. Great service Excellent tuna melt. Bathrooms are in the zombie mall that's attached.

    Delicious, chili, cheese, omelette!

Looks like they took out the cinnamon in the food now, so that is good. The chili cheese omelette is still the bomb, and the county Benedict was just ok. Knock off one star for the high prices, breakfast just shouldn't cost over $20 a plate at a cafe.

We came here on a lazy holiday Monday, mid-morning. While we were in a lazy mood, the staff was a hustling bunch. This restaurant is unpretentious - simple and straight-forward. They are a breakfast and lunch-time operation which makes their patio perfect for their opening hours. As we ate our brunch, I could tell this was a locals' favorite. Even though the staff was quick and efficient, they had plenty of time to be personable and friendly. We shared the Vegetable Quesadilla, see my pic. What you are seeing is mostly the tortilla: is was good and held up to the steam from the veggies. The side of salsa was very mild, a bit of lingering heat and had a moderate amount of flavor. The scoop of guac was mashed a fair amount, was reasonably fresh and was mildly flavored. What you aren't seeing are the veggies and cheese inside which the Palms has the right ratio. The cheese had a higher fat content so is smooth and creamy, while the veggies still had a bit crunch. It was a fairly decent snack for mid-morning.

We have been eating breakfast here for the last 5 years. Service is fantastic, food is delicious & the cc pancake is by far the best I ever had.

I'm not sure what it is, but I've had a hard time finding pickles, at certain restaurants, in the Coachella Valley, even when buying a burger or sliders. Weird!! The avocado fries were amazing. Perfectly crispy, not greasy and the sauces were amazing. The only downside here is that your burger doesn't come with a side or fries. You have to buy fries separately, which is a bummer, and they range from $6-$7 for a half order. I also asked about any happy hour and they don't offer that at this time. Anthony was attentive and provided great service and I'd come back to try another burger.

My daughter ordered fries as well. Food came in less than 4 minutes-red flag. Burgers were zoomed-in sliders. The fries came in a thin wooden bowl, less than 4 inches in diameter. We split the fries in half, I got 10 pieces and my daughter got 11, no questions. When the bill came, fries were $7.75, and the zoomed-in sliders were $11. Now: 1) food took less than 4 minutes from making it to the table.? 2) how could Smart & Final frozen fries cost that much.? The food server was amazing, personable, and very pleasant. We never saw him after ordering. I write this review with no ill intent, I am trying to give the owner a constructive critique. Do with it what you will, but a 4-lb frozen bag of fries doesn't cost $7.75 Economy is bad, overhead is high, and affordability is dying. We all know that you're not in this business to give food away, but reheating sliders and frozen Smart & Final fries is screaming foul and loud.

We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
