Especially when you are at a family-friendly place and one bad pool moment can ruin the whole trip. The bowling alley and games for kids were honestly a strong save. That part gives the property some real personality. It is the kind of setup that keeps children entertained and keeps adults from having to hear "what are we doing now" every eleven minutes. The staff was amazing. Warm. Helpful. On it. That was probably the best part of the stay. They gave the whole experience more polish than the building sometimes had on its own. Good staff can carry a property far, and they definitely did some heavy lifting here. The gym is really small, and it could use an update bad. A few newer machines and a little more space would make a huge difference. Right now it feels like an afterthought. Like they remembered fitness at the very end and said okay put two something somewhere and let God handle the rest. The bar and food were decent. Perfectly fine. Nobody at the table was offended. Nobody was composing love letters either. It was the kind of meal you eat, nod at, and then fully forget by the next afternoon. Not bad. Not brag-worthy. Just there. Instead, the experience became one of the most upsetting resort stays we've had. While actively swimming in the La Paloma pool with our children, a large amount of brown material suddenly blasted out of a pool jet directly in front of us and spread into the water. It genuinely looked like sewage or waste coming into the pool. We immediately got out along with other guests and attempted to get answers from staff, but no one could clearly explain what had happened or reassure us that the pool was safe. Because of that, we no longer felt comfortable using ANY of the resort pools for the rest of our stay -- which completely ruined the primary reason we booked this resort in the first place. We left extremely disappointed and honestly sad that our Mother's Day and anniversary trip turned into stress and discomfort instead of a relaxing family vacation. Three days later, I also became extremely sick, which only added to the concern surrounding the incident. Management later emailed us claiming it was "filter media sand" from a backwash issue and not waste. They waived our parking and resort fees, but considering we essentially lost use of the main amenity we paid to enjoy, that did not feel like an appropriate resolution. We respectfully reached out requesting either compensation for the room or the opportunity to return for a future stay so we could actually experience the resort the way we intended to. We never even received a response. For a resort at this price point and under the Westin/Marriott name, the handling of this situation and the lack of customer care afterward was incredibly disappointing.

Found out that each juice added was 2.00. They should at least added a juice to it, but oh well. They did have some drinks deals which you should utilize. Brunch, the hangover omelette with 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, Serrano topped with green onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Comes with a side of toast or English muffins and either tots, potatoes, salad or fruits. And the Florentine omelette, vegetarian. 3 eggs with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese and avocado.
