    The bull.... I mean zebra.
    Bob M.

Sorry, but the zebra looks like a bull. My buddy had the Cubano. He said the pulled pork was really good. I had the turkey bacon club with tomato bisque soup. Soup was good. Bread was toasted. It should come with avocado. Table was not wiped down when we sat down. Would recommend it for lunch. Bathroom was clean.

Just as my husband started doubting that we were near the restaurant because we driving past an industrial park, we saw a huge painted zebra sculpture, indicating that we had arrived at Meester Zebra. It was Friday morning, and we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Our server was kind and friendly, and our food arrived quickly. And oh my gosh - I could see why this place gets great reviews! My breakfast sandwich and the hashbrowns that accompanied it were fantastic. My husband also really enjoyed his breakfast plate. I'm really glad we went out of our way to go here, and look forward to returning again someday.

*Meester Zebra Earned Their Stripes* My buddy in LA came here to visit me and hangout for a few days. Prior to coming out, he told me he wanted to try this place and their BBQ, based on all the 5-star Yelp & Google reviews. Funny thing is -- I already had it on my list to grub, while planning our meals, weeks in advance. It's been on my to-do list too. Wifey's not too keen on BBQ food like her hubby. On a hot summer Wednesday, with MLB playing all morning, day & night, my buddy & I decided to stay at my home for a baseball marathon, instead of hanging out at the Aqua Caliente 360 Sports Bar. Ordering was seamless through GrubHub, with my free account via Amazon Prime. We both ordered the exact same thing = 3 Meat BBQ sandwich: brisket, pulled pork, chicken, jalapeños. coleslaw, chipotle. bbq sauce on a brioche bun. With French fries (welldone without salt please) and coleslaw. Everything was outstanding & sensational. I usually don't like spicy foods (and jalapeños) but everything paired perfectly and we were both extremely happy. The smoked meats were cooked just right. The sauces were great and brioche bun was nice and fresh. The fries & slaw were great too. We're very picky and take our BBQ very seriously -- coming from 2 dudes who used to trek out to the OG Bludso's in Compton -- before it went mainstream. This unique sando was hearty & savory. I don't eat food like this for lunch when the weather is so hot. Portions & servings are very generous. Loads of French fries too. Now we see & understand why Guy Fieri once landed at Meester Zebra for "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." My buddy devoured his in no time and was still too full for dinner. I ate half for lunch then the other half later on for dinner, while we watched the Dodger's game. Service & delivery from GrubHub was extremely fast & friendly -- especially at lunch time on a weekday. Everything was packaged well and arrived piping hot. We were so hungry & excited, I forgot to take some pics. It was so good, my buddy & I intend to do it again when he's back out in October to watch the World Series together -- hopefully it's the Dodgers & Red Sox. {{{Big~High-Five}}} Walk-off Grandslam

Love this little place! Very clean the gentleman that waits on you is very friendly you order pay and then get served. We ordered the Montecristo and the Jules rancheros with both red and green sauce. Very tasty.! Can't wait to go back and try lunch. The nice thing is at breakfast and lunch is available in the morning.

I dropped by for a quick lunch and found these perfectly seasoned and flavorful Carne Asada tacos. This cafe on Perez Rd. Seems to be popular with local merchants and workers. It has an industrial feel to it. The service was quick, helpful and welcoming.

Great food. Friendly service. You feel like family here. I felt like I was visiting my cousin! I loved the banter between Alvin and my husband who's a regular here. They are so sarcastic and funny to each other! I had the turkey club and hubs had the double cheeseburger. Excellent! I like the casual decor.

First time trying this place and it was so delicious, the gentleman in the front was so kind and polite. I tried the cowboy sandwich with sweet potato fries, soooo good!!! Their ranch is so good too. He gave me a menu to take with me back to my office and let me leave business cards as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Shh, secret menu. Smoked Brisket Beef Dip. Amazing smoked brisket, melted cheese, on bakery roll. So fantastic you don't even need to dip

NEW Bistec Ranchero. Seasoned Flap Meat, tri-color Bell Peppers, smothered in Salsa Ranchera, served with refried beans, cotija cheese, and corn tortillas. Perfectly seasoned and tender meat, smothered in THE most delicious Ranchera sauce swimming with red, green, and orange sauteed bell peppers. House-made refried beans liberally sprinkled with cotija cheese, and corn tortillas on the side. When the dish arrived, I figured I could only eat half of the generously heaping portion--but it was so darn flavorful I ate the entire plate, beans and all. Mom would be proud. And I didn't even eat the tortillas, wanting nothing in the way of that flavorful goodness. Can't wait to order this one again.

Our overall experience was lacking in almost every way. We were seated outside, and this was bad. The only available table was on the side by the street, and we were in full blast range for the wind and the sound of their outdoor AC. I can't put it to words how this impacted our overall meal, and the immediate regret we felt. Their indoor seating was also not going to be possible for us because of just how loud it was. Our server took our food and drink order right away, but she never checked in on us after the drop off. I ordered the Irish iced coffee, looking forward to getting a nice treat drink. I ended up getting just a regular iced coffee, and unfortunately I had no chance to try and flag anyone down to get this sorted out since we were never checked on once the items were delivered. This includes the waters we ordered for the table as well. The only good thing about this was that I was only charged for an iced coffee. The eggs Benedict were simply "ok" and rather unremarkable. They arrived just above room temperature and while they weren't bad, they weren't great either. The sandwich was fine, but the home fries were over seasoned by far and had way too much salt. Overall, this was a disappointing brunch. Unless they really look into the quality of the food, the lack of table service, and their terrible side dining area by their outdoor AC, I can say we have no plans on returning.

The service was great and friendly, and willing to seat us even an hour before closing their lunch hours and giving us lots of time and patience and never let our waters get low either! We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch.

I happened to visit right before 4th of July weekend, and it was SO peaceful. The resort was incredibly quiet, there were plenty of lounge chairs available, and it honestly felt like I had the place almost to myself. It made for such a relaxing and stress-free vacation. The staff deserves a huge shoutout because every single person I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether I had a question or needed something, they were always quick to assist and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. One thing I really appreciate is that they include some fun perks with the resort fee. We received complimentary games of duckpin bowling, which was such a fun bonus and something a little different from your typical resort activities. There are plenty of amenities to keep you entertained if you want to stay on property, and the entire resort is beautifully maintained. The grounds are clean, the landscaping is gorgeous, and everything feels well cared for. If I had one small criticism, it's that they definitely find little ways to charge extra. For example, if you want a microwave in your room, there's an additional fee. It wasn't a huge deal for me, but it's something to be aware of if you plan on bringing leftovers or snacks. As for the food, I'd say it's average. Nothing was bad, but it wasn't the highlight of the trip either. Thankfully, the location is great and there are plenty of excellent restaurants just a short drive away, so I never felt limited by the dining options. Overall, I think this resort offers fantastic value for the price. Between the beautiful property, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and all the amenities included, it's an easy place to recommend. I've enjoyed every stay here, and after experiencing it during a quieter time of year, I already know I'll be coming back again. The employees at the front desk were polite and trying their best, so this is not directed at them, but the communication and management responsiveness really need improvement. After traveling all day, it was frustrating sitting in the lobby with no clear updates or help. Then after finally getting into the room, I went to take a shower and the shower hose had been pointed straight outward. The second I turned the water on, it sprayed directly into my face and all over the bathroom floor. When I turned the water back toward the shower, I noticed there was already a towel sitting inside the shower completely drenched, which honestly made the whole room feel like it hadn't been properly checked or prepared before guests arrived. The property itself is beautiful, but the overall experience definitely did not match the level of service I expect from a Marriott property.
