A friend introduced me to Chef Tanya's Kitchen in Palm Spring during our visit last Thursday. Humbled to find this gem in the desserts. Plus super cooled dining area to be in. Food and drinks were delicious. Superb service. Well thought of products offered, merch, and the decorations reflected love of nature, simplicity and all its elements

Really grateful I found this restaurant in the desert! Everything I tried was so flavorful.

This is pretty much a hole in the wall kinda place. We chanced upon this during our trip to Palm Springs. This is one of those places which proves that the vegetarian food if done right beats any meat dishes anyday! I ordered the Hippie burger, it was just fantastic. The bread had a nice crunch, the hummus, the veggies, seitan everything just melted in the mouth. I couldn't resist the 2nd half I was hoping to save. They had a special dish, burrito, but they were kind to accommodate and do it without the tortilla. The Agua Fresca was muaah!! You order at the cahsier and walk to the next door where there is another seating area where our food was brought to us.

Chef Tanya was featured at the BNP Paribas Open, and since this was the closest location, I thought it was worth leaving a review. I ordered the burrito and the chicken sando. Everyone knows that event food can be pretty pricey, so for about $25, you get a vegan dish. I'm glad there was a vegan option at the open, although I'm not vegan, I did celebrate Lent and avoid meat on Fridays. The pickled veggies needed a bit more work, but overall, the sando and the burrito were pretty solid! Great service!

My first time at Chef Tanya's Kitchen was a real pleasure. This location is in Palm Desert off El Paseo. They have a shady patio as you enter. The interior is spacious with a modern desert relaxed vibe. One area offers Vegan ice cream confections and dessert options. The center area is a dining space with gourmet vegan options offered for take home. Things like Vegan cheeses and spreads, Pickles, and cashew cream cheese. The third area is where you place your order. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Vegan Chili. It is made with Seitan. The seasoning was very good. It had crispy tortilla strips on top and vegan cheese in it. I really liked it. I will return to try more of their innovative items.

A MUST TRY! I found Chef Tanya's after looking for vegan restaurants near palm springs and i'm SO glad I did! My boyfriend and I went for lunch for the first time and the food was SO INSANELY good we went to the other location later that night to pick up the chocolate cake slice and peanut butter parfait for dessert AND went back the next morning for breakfast!! For lunch I got the Hippie sandwich, my boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich, and we shared seitan chicken tenders. We also got a cinnamon roll which was the best cinnamon roll we've ever had, and the main reason we went back the next morning for breakfast! (We were so sad to see they were sold out but TOTALLY understand why!!) The staff were also super friendly and accommodating with our questions about the menu! Not to mention the seating areas both inside and outside were so pretty, the outside had water misting due to the heat and the inside had the cutest shop items to browse through throughout the room. They even sell the ranch (which was insane btw), seitan deli slices, chickpea "tuna", and so much more, so if you liked something from what you ordered, you're likely to be able to buy some to take it home to enjoy later too! Thank you so much for sharing how amazing vegan food is and my vegan boyfriend and I will be coming back here every time we get the chance!

Chef Tanyas in Palm Springs is my go to for lunch and dinner. Went there this Thanksgiving, I happen to see this sign which made me smile!

As always, excellent food and service. Today I had the taco salad and the drink special of the day. Besides the Guadalajara burger the taco salad is one of my favorites. Plenty of flavor with a nice balance of ingredients.

If you want good vegan food this is your spot! I've had their burgers also soft serve ice cream but my friend T. Barone really wanted me to try the Pozole & this is the second time I've had it & I love it! Throw in your fixings the lime ‍ & of course I had to spice it up with some Tapatio & bam! Deliciousness!!! Every time I've eaten at the restaurant the service was always good & the staff was really nice. The ambience is nice too!

They have a long bar and two inside seating areas, as well as an outdoor patio (not in use during our visit). I also loved the glass wine cellar, which has a table to seat six and can be reserved, but there are some minimum purchase requirements on food/wine. FOOD: We took advantage of their Passion4Pinot special menu, a curated four-course experience ($54.60/person) with an additional wine pairing ($25/person). Farouk, their Sommelier, did a fantastic job pairing the wines with the food, truly one of the best pairings we've experienced. Since this was a "special menu", I'll let my pictures speak for themselves as each course was simply delicious. In addition to that, my mother-in-law started with a cup of the soup of the day which was a Cauliflower Bisque ($13). For her entrée, she had the Hi'ilani Shrimp appetizer ($20). Again, both items were simply delicious, and each course was perfectly timed out, so nothing overlapped (a pet peeve of mine). Overall, a wonderful first experience and won't be our last. I highly recommend you check them out.

It clearly caters to a sophisticated crowd--very similar in vibe to their Calabasas location. While parking is accessible in the rear, it can get congested during peak season. The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.

After my last experience here, I honestly didn't expect to be writing a new review like this -- but…read morewe have to give credit where credit is due. The team at Cowboy Cantina reached out and invited us back, which we truly were shocked & greatly appreciated it. We decided to give it another shot, and I'm really glad we did because this time around was a completely different experience. From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere felt totally turned around. We were greeted warmly, checked on regularly, and actually felt like valued guests. This is the kind of effort that shows a restaurant really cares about improving and making things right! Our server, Isreal, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive without hovering, he was friendly, funny, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Drinks were refilled quickly, everything came out in great timing, and he made sure we had everything we needed the whole night. It honestly felt like the level of service you hope for when you go out to eat. The food itself was great and came out fresh and flavorful. You could tell there was real attention being paid this time, and it made a big difference in how enjoyable the meal was. One of the highlights of the night was the tableside dessert prepared by Jared. Not only was it delicious, but it was also entertaining to watch him put it together right there at the table. It added a fun, memorable touch to the meal and was the perfect way to end the night. This experience showed exactly how restaurants should handle things with their customers. Instead of ignoring feedback, they took it seriously, made the effort to improve, and invited us back to make it right. That kind of accountability and dedication to customer satisfaction goes a long way! We left genuinely impressed and happy we gave it another chance. If this visit is any indication of the direction they're heading, Cowboy Cantina is absolutely on the right track.

We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
