For our brunch while on a desert trip, we checked out this place as the menu seemed fun, parking seemed friendly, and overall had the vibe we enjoy. Our overall experience was lacking in almost every way. We were seated outside, and this was bad. The only available table was on the side by the street, and we were in full blast range for the wind and the sound of their outdoor AC. I can't put it to words how this impacted our overall meal, and the immediate regret we felt. Their indoor seating was also not going to be possible for us because of just how loud it was. Our server took our food and drink order right away, but she never checked in on us after the drop off. I ordered the Irish iced coffee, looking forward to getting a nice treat drink. I ended up getting just a regular iced coffee, and unfortunately I had no chance to try and flag anyone down to get this sorted out since we were never checked on once the items were delivered. This includes the waters we ordered for the table as well. The only good thing about this was that I was only charged for an iced coffee. The eggs Benedict were simply "ok" and rather unremarkable. They arrived just above room temperature and while they weren't bad, they weren't great either. The sandwich was fine, but the home fries were over seasoned by far and had way too much salt. Overall, this was a disappointing brunch. Unless they really look into the quality of the food, the lack of table service, and their terrible side dining area by their outdoor AC, I can say we have no plans on returning. read more

My first time here and it was great. Of course it happened to be the same time stagecoach was going on. I've seen this place a couple of weeks ago but noticed that it's only open till 3. It's on the corner of a little strip with a few other restaurants. Right next door to a Thai restaurant that I've been to before. There's parking in the back and along the side but if you don't mind walking a bit, there's a covered parking structure around the corner. There was already a line forming when we arrived sunday afternoon. Checked in with the hostess which whom she was the sweetest and very friendly. Put your name down and phone number and you'll get a text when the table was ready. They have a little seating area to the side where you could wait but we just ended up walking around till our table was ready. It was maybe 10,15 minutes wait when we got texted. The restaurant isn't that big with a small covered patio out front and some seating inside. There's a bar counter that I think you can sit as well which looks out to the kitchen. Menu was pretty impressive with brunch. Everything actually looked good on paper and even better when plates were being brought out. We started off with a bottle of the bubble and some juices. Found out that each juice added was 2.00. They should at least added a juice to it, but oh well. They did have some drinks deals which you should utilize. Brunch, the hangover omelette with 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, Serrano topped with green onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Comes with a side of toast or English muffins and either tots, potatoes, salad or fruits. And the Florentine omelette, vegetarian. 3 eggs with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese and avocado. Also comes with sides of toast and potatoes. The meal was great. The table next to us had orders some dishes that we were thinking about and from the looks of it, it's a must next time. I was looking for a new brunch spot to try and was recommended Brunch 101. At first glance, the space felt pretty small, and I was worried it might get overcrowded. I went with my two sisters and my niece, and we were greeted and seated at a table near the entrance by the door facing the street. The overall look and vibe were a bit lacking for me. Our server was great--very attentive and friendly. As for the food, my sandwich was just okay, but the fries and the hibiscus mimosa were a solid 10/10. Great breakfast place. We were in town for a graduation and looking for a good place for breakfast. Brunch 101 popped up on our Yelp App. Well we were not disappointed. Wait time was minimal, the place looked busy and we thought that we were going to wait for a long time. Not at all, took about 20 minutes. The staff were very attentive and polite. The food was amazing, flavors and portions were on point. You have to try the biscuits and gravy. Ambiance felt like we were at home. They have couches for seats. I can see this place being packed on the weekends! Thankfully I went on a Friday morning while all the suckers were at work! First off parking a little weird but worth it. The outside patio had some nice ambiance with the decor and on a coolish 70s winter morning it was perfect. We opted for an inside seat though because the road construction outside was a little noisy. The place was a 10/10 after they brought out the iced coffee with frozen coffee ice cubes! Let's go no dilution here! The menu was stacked with options to satisfy anyone's hunger, they were also incredible accommodating on requests making it spot on for everyone's delight. When I come to Palm Springs, I want brunch. We came here on our second day and I had my second Benedict dish in a row. Came across this gem upon checking out of our resort for the Memorial Day weekend. Parking was a little confusing; however, there was some street parking available as well as some spots on the other side in what appeared to be a small strip mall. There was a wait for inside seating; however, we opted to dine on the patio. Our server was the owner himself (Oscar) & he was amazing! I ended up ordering the chicken and waffles (so delish and homemade) and BFF ordered a more traditional breakfast (cannot remember) with home fries. Found this place on our drive back from Indian Wells and decided to stop by for a bite. It has a nice, casual brunchy vibe with a solid selection of classic brunch fare -- sweet dishes, egg-based plates, and a few sandwich/lunch options. I went with the chilaquiles. The portion was generous and definitely didn't break the bank. That said, the chip-to-topping ratio was a bit off -- I found myself with a pile of chips at the end and would've loved a bit more egg and maybe some avocado to round it out. We were seated in the patio, it felt fresh because of the water mist but I didn't like how it would all come down on the drinks/food.. does this not bother anyone else? Idk, I'm a germaphobe. Decided to give this place a try for brunch before heading back to LA and we enjoyed it. The inside is a little small but they also have outside seating to accommodate. It would just suck if it was cold outside. We orderee the Breakfast Sandy, Biscuits & Gravy Sliders, and Packcakes with Bacon. The Breakfast Sandy was pretty good and the tator tots they serve with it are seasoned really well. The Biscuits & Gravy Sliders were good but I think the gravy can use a little more seasoning and the bacon jam would be a hit inside of the slider, rather than on the side. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted pretty good. Would definitely recommend this place and will come back for future Palm Springs visits. So glad we waited. Food was amazing. I had the smashed avo Benedict and added bacon. So good. And the guava and bubbles was really good. My husband had the hangover omelet and said it was really good mine was too good to waste space to try his. I also had the house made salsa on mine which put it over the top. We got the mimosa flight but that wasn't a hit. Our friend also got the breakfast burger he said was really good. Highly recommend!!! I didn't think I would like this place as much as I did. We were in the mood for brunch and when you Google brunch in Palm Springs this came up first. We popped in during Cathedral City pride weekend (every March) for our first meal of the day. We had about a 15 minute wait after putting our names down. They have a makeshift entrance patio area with lots of cool outdoor style furniture along with their hour and menu posted on the wooden fence door just before the start of their outdoor seating area. We ran into some of my boyfriend's friends while waiting and funny enough we ended up with their exact table once they finished their meal. Having one of the few tall tables outside was pretty nice as the outdoor seating is spacious and feels abundant. The indoor seating is nice as well though very limited, including in their bar area, but they make it work and you definitely will want to enjoy the B101 experience. Our server (I believe Oscar) was really attentive, like a one man show! He got our orders in, kept our glasses full and was very all brunch business from start to finish. We had the Smash Avo Benny with a side of fruit for him and the Soyrizo & Potato Tacos with a side salad for me to start. The food is so rich and flavorful... Like I couldn't believe the taste of delicious blends on my palate. We loved every bite and were still craving a bit more, so we split an order of Almond (pan)cakes. Ten out of ten for sure! The cool thing about Brunch 101 besides Brunch 101 is the abundance of vegetarian and vegan friendly options, clearly marked on their menu. They clearly are a master of all types of dishes for all brunchers. Drinks are plentiful from spiked things (Bloody Marys + Irish Coffees), to bubbles/sparkling to mocktails, juices, misomas (including flights), to hot coffees, teas, brews, beers, seltzers and all sorts of beveragings. It's family friendly, couple friendly, friend group friendly, date friendly, pup friendly, you friendly and even Wi-Fi friendly. Open to all with gender neutral bathrooms and shared parking at the Cathedral City Town Square/Center plaza near cool things like the Mary Pickford is D Place theater, The Roost Lounge and Monster Shakes to name a few. My wife and I had the chance to dine here on our final full day vacationing in Palm Springs for Spring Break. Our waiter Oscar was nice and very attentive. He immediately serviced us, met our drink and food needs. When I had an issue with my food, he met that with a smile and corrected the issue with no complaints. We enjoyed our brunch. My wife had the Hangover Omelet and potatoes (She loved it) and I had the Steak and eggs with a side of bacon (I decided to remove the steak due to it being overcooked), but everything else was good. They make their own strawberry jam and I believe they make their salad dressing. If they don't, it was most certainly delicious wherever they buy it from. My wife had the frozen mango margarita and I had the guava and champagne drink. Both equally good. We both reccomend this spot. read more

My only qualm was the potatoes. I thought they be breakfast potatoes since they were made with green pepper but they were stingy with the green peppers so the potatoes were really fries. Unfortunately we had to send back the first cup of coffee as that's lipstick served on the cup that we didn't order. Enough that we were surprised it wasn't noticed. Enjoyed our first time at Brunch 101 except for the noise level as we were seated outside on their patio. Indoor seating is so limited and we didn't realize how much the noise would affect us. They obscure the view, so to speak, on Rt. 111 so it seems cozy but the traffic noise requires volume. Even our waiter had to stand next to one in our party who he couldn't hear as he took his order and we were at a table for four. The portions are a good size and the food is tasty. I had Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a delicious mix of slaw, melted cheese and Sriracha ranch that was sooo delicious . The fries that came as a side dish were nicely seasoned and perfectly crisp on the outside with a tender middle. My friends ordered one each of the taco offerings but the green house salsa was a bit too hot for one of our party. There was no alternative they could replace it with. They also weren't fans of the side dish cilantro black beans with queso. But we all have individual preferences. The service was good and the prices were fair for what we ordered. We've definitely had way better. Our waitress appeared nice initially, but it greatly shifted immediately afterwards & made our experience unpleasant. Our pancakes were so dry that it broke apart & the syrup wasn't even enough to make them edible. The bacon was good except we had to scrape off all the peppercorn because otherwise it wasn't edible due to how spicey it was. Even their potatos were french fries cut in half & covered in Cajun seasoning. I'm sensitive to spicey so it wasn't good for me to have all that when the menu didn't even specify that. The coffe is so weak! It was like drinking water, but worse. Safe to say, we will not be returning here again. read more
