    Eggs Benedict

The restaurant itself seems fun. Great outdoor seating. Staff was friendly but aloof. After taking our order we did not see the server until our the check came. Came with a group of three and two were given their food very quickly and mine took another 10-15 minutes to get to the table. My friends were nearly finished by the time I started eating. My friend got the eggs Benedict. It was pretty passable with the exception of the biscuit which was a bit dry and could have been salted more to bring out the cheddar flavor. I got the chicken and waffles. Which was beautifully presented but the waffle was a bit tough and some of the chicken a bit dry.

It seems like there's always a line here so make sure to get here early. We arrived around 10:30 am and there was a 20 min wait... so it wasn't too bad. We definitely loved the vibes here. The seating area is a shaded area covered with green trees and shrubs. It was a pretty cold day when we came, but I loved how they had patio heaters on. We started out with the bacon flight. It was an interesting experience and pretty tasty. I just wished that the bacon was a thicker cut. We ordered the quesadilla, breakfast polenta, and the cheesy scrambled eggs. Out of all of them, the polenta was the best. It was seasoned well with plenty of bacon inside. For the cheesy scrambled eggs... it was pretty under seasoned and the maple sausages were extremely bland. We'll probably be back... but we'll stick to the "breakfast this week" items. Staff were also extremely friendly and the food came out quick.

Went to Cheeky in Palm Springs and honestly the food was really good. I got the chicken and waffles and the presentation was different than what I expected, but it looked sooo good and it was actually super appetizing. My friends ordered the eggs benedict and the chilaquiles and they had no complaints at all -- everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We also tried the bacon flight... not gonna lie it was interesting but still fun to try. Overall, really good brunch spot and I'd definitely go back.

Crispy and saucy chilaquiles?! Yes please. The corn pancakes were also a hit! This was for sure a great brunch spot that also offers some great morning cocktails to get your day started. The staff was attentive, and even made sure we had some extra syrup for our left over pancakes. The pancakes came with a side of bacon and we were able to ask for the thyme flavored ones. When the pancakes came out, the bacon didn't taste like thyme and that's when we asked our server about it. She realized we had the turkey ones and she was quick to correct which was great! We sat indoors and it was a little chilly, outdoor had some heat lamps but was more crowded too. Great food, great customer service! Def an awesome spot to check out! **** dog friendly patio ****

What a gem in the desert! We stopped in after seeing the great reviews and their weekly menu, and we're so glad we did. Arriving early meant we were seated right away, and the patio made for a perfect, relaxing spot. The service was truly outstanding--every single person we encountered was warm, friendly, and attentive. The food was exceptional. Their sourdough bread is shockingly good; it doesn't look like much at first glance, but one bite proves otherwise. The bacon flight was a fun experience--some pieces were standout favorites, others less so, but all worth trying. The coffee is bold and strong, and the mimosa was absolutely delicious. Overall, a fantastic find.

Went for a bachelorette brunch with 13 people on a Saturday early afternoon (12:00pm). They have a nice outdoor seating area and can accommodate large groups with prior reservations. With larger groups they do have you pay a deposit and a minimum of $35 per person, deposit goes toward the final bill. Food/service/drinks were all great! I will definitely go back next time I'm visiting Palm Springs. Highly recommend the bacon flight. The flavors are so unique and the bacon is cooked well! Beware of the veggies on the Bloody Mary, they pack a punch!!

For the first time in years of driving by,, there was no line waiting to be seated at this very popular spot and a parking space right out front at 1 pm, so I seized my chance to eat at a PS Michelin restaurant. Breakfast is served all day plus cocktails are available and their lunch menu is eclectic. I was promptly seated on their lovely patio which is screened from Palm Canyon by trees which provide welcome shade but allow mountain views. I now know why there is always a line. I tried something new, their monte christo with raspberry sauce and was wowed by the preparation with perfectly melted cheese on nicely toasted bread. The raspberry sauce was a perfect match for the flavors. I might have to stand in line next time but I will definitely return to enjoy this meal again.

Average brunch spot. Service was quick and friendly. We thought food was average and portions aren't huge(which I don't mind!). The cinnamon roll came with no frosting but it was still pretty good. They have nice outdoor seating.

First time trying this restaurant and it was amazing. The service was great and the manager Matt was so nice and great vibes. Loved the outdoor seating it was perfect with some shade. The mimosas and breakfast were great. My friends and I all got the same plate and they all looked perfect. Definitely would be back here to try other plates. Their menu is very unique and lots of different choices than regular breakfast places.

Fun breakfast spot in Palm Springs! I love the Cheeky ;) nature of it. I'd recommend sitting outside and wish we had, but it was quite hot. Our server was attentive and great at recommending options for us. Yes, the bacon flight is necessary. It's fun, and every flavor was delicious despite some of them not sounding like it'd fit my personal preference. I recommend the eggs Benedict. The cheddar biscuit was a nice change for the classic english muffin. My boyfriend had the Chilaquiles, and wished he had also gotten the Benedict. Drinks were yummy too, and the iced latte was great and came with a side of simple syrup to sweeten to your liking.

We started with the bacon flight, and that was tasty and interesting. I had the dirty chai and avocado toast and my husband had the scrambled eggs with sausage. We both enjoyed our breakfast. Service couldn't be friendlier, and the place was bustling! Fun dining area.

Great outdoor seating with plenty of heating lamps. Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday and enjoyed our meal here. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll - it's almost churro-esque! My thai steak salad did not have any lettuce but was protein and veggie friendly. The chilaquiles were largely portioned. The pozole had great flavor. The morning margarita was well balanced too. Great spot for brunch/lunch.

What days and time is brunch?

The menu on their website says breakfast 8am-2pm and lunch 11:30-2pm. Closed Tuesday.

How long a wait at Cheekys in Palm Springs on a Wednesday?

Cheeky's opens at 8am every day, and I would say the wait generally ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour+ throughout the day, so get there early!

    No, sadly not!

I know the eggs are organic but is the BACON organic too?

    Not sure but very tasty.

What is the wait time like for a Friday morning? How early should you arrive?

The wait can vary. Usually half hour or so. Mid morning is good since people have either gone to work or waiting for lunch. But what is really good is you put your name in and they take your cell number. Then text you when getting close. You can… Read more

    Is the patio dog friendly?

Yep! I saw dogs in the patio area when I was there.

How long is the wait normally on a Saturday/ when would be a good time to arrive?

The best time to arrive is no later than 7:45 am. You are pretty much assured a seat when it opens. After that, it's usually a wait of 30-60 minutes but of course depends if there are a lot of tourists in town. I personally think it's worth the wait… Read more

    Do they offer bottomless mimosas?

Nope. You have to pay for each glass. They use quality champagne and fresh juice though (either orange or pomegranate).

The drinks were strong and well-made, and even though the place was packed, our waitress stayed attentive and checked in with us consistently. It's clear they specialize in more elaborate cocktails, so a bit of a wait is understandable. The ambiance is also a highlight--dark, intimate, and really leans into the tiki vibe. **Night two** was the complete opposite. We accidentally mixed up our reservation time, but since the place was nearly empty, we were seated right away, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We had a different waitress, and despite being one of only a few parties there when we arrived, we waited **45 minutes** without seeing our drinks--while other groups seated after us were already being served (and even getting second rounds). We eventually had to flag down our waitress, who had hardly checked on us at all. When we asked about the delay, she said they were "very busy,". After mentioning how long we'd been waiting, there wasn't any real apology--just visible annoyance. She told us our drinks were "up next," but after another 20 minutes passed with nothing, we decided to leave after over an hour of waiting. It was disappointing, especially after such a positive first experience. A simple apology or some communication would have gone a long way. Sadly, the inconsistency makes it hard to know which version of this place you're going to get.

The cocktails were for the most part excellent, and where they were just good, they were still good. Overall, this was a great place to spend a couple of hours. Two small things that dropped their score for me, but will absolutely not discourage my returning: 1) While the menu gimmick is fun, given the lighting and small table size, it's a mess to navigate. I ended up just going with the staff recommendations, or the first thing I could read. Perhaps having a book version available that just lists the cocktails would be helpful. 2) At one point, of the two people working, one disappeared (probably for their lunch or a break), and this left the bartender stuck behind the bar filling the orders of those seated at it. While we intended another round, after 25 minutes with no sign of that happening, we left our table, paid at the bar, and left. Still a fun and wonderful experience.

Neil was welcoming, accommodating, and personally secured a table for our party of six when we returned after 9pm. His hospitality and the venue concept itself are excellent. Unfortunately, the service we received afterward from another staff member, Billy, did not match that standard. The venue is extremely dark, so we used the small table lamp to read the menu. Billy instructed us not to use it because it "wasn't the vibe of the establishment," and told us to use our phone lights instead. The tone was abrupt and dismissive. Around 9:50pm he announced last call. When one guest ordered, his response was, "I guess if you must." Others asked for a moment to decide and were repeatedly rushed. We explained we weren't aware they closed as 10, as Neil had told us it would be open seating after 10. He replied, "Yeah, well I'm closing tonight and I'm closing at 10." When drinks were delivered, they were set down forcefully. As we were leaving, a member of our group overheard Billy speaking negatively about us to another employee, including mocking someone in our group for needing glasses to read the menu and implying she was intoxicated (she wasn't). When this was addressed directly, he did not apologize and instead insisted we had overstayed, which is inaccurate. We ordered promptly after being told last call and left after finishing our drinks. We are locals who intentionally brought out-of-town guests here because we wanted them to have a great experience. It's disappointing that one staff member's conduct overshadowed what should have been a highlight of their visit. I won't assign motives, but I will note that Billy's demeanor noticeably shifted after the final member of our group, who happens to be Black, arrived. I cannot determine why, only that the change in tone was clear. Neil has created something special here. However, a venue's reputation ultimately depends on how guests are treated when ownership is not present. Based on this visit, there is a significant gap between the hospitality the owner provides and the service delivered in his absence. I hope Neil takes a close look at what happens when he's not present, because with the right staff, this could easily be a place we'd want to return to.

It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
