I don't know where to start I'm yelping this spot but first shoutout to F10 catering services who recommended me to try this spot out . So had the chilaquiles, pancake and a side order of the fried chicken that usually comes right the chicken and waffle . I had a water mezcal drink as well. Nothing absolutely nothing was wrong about the food . Honestly the pancake is the game changer because it had corn in it . The texture and sweetness was unforgettable. Do yourself a favor and order one pancake it's so damn good . And to top everything off the host of you get the pleasure of seeing her name Bernice is so sweet and instantly makes you feel welcome and wanted . We wanted to grab breakfast at 1:30 PM (Yeah, that's right. Am I the only one to have a late night) on our way out of town and avoid the downtown crowds. Cheeky's was the perfect spot to hit while heading out on Highway 111 towards the I-10 West. Started with the Cinnamon roll. Came to the table quickly, but without frosting. We were taken aback with our naked roll, but decided to dig in. It was very good, nice and moist on the inside. Crunchy on the outside. My Huevos Rancheros looked amazing. Eggs sunny side up, crunchy tostada, beans and a delicious looking orange sauce drizzled on the plate. Notice that I stated they "looked" amazing. They tasted... alright. I was hoping for a burst of flavor and kick from the sauce. Nothing. Just alright. The refried beans were bland. My wife had a similar experience with her fried chicken sandwich. Looked amazing. We have been coming here when on vacation for a number of years. This last visit the service was good but the food was mediocre. The chilaquiles were served with half brown avocado slices and the waffle special was small, with few strawberries, little sauce, and meringue cookies that had nothing to do with the dish. The restaurant itself seems fun. Great outdoor seating. Staff was friendly but aloof. After taking our order we did not see the server until our the check came. Came with a group of three and two were given their food very quickly and mine took another 10-15 minutes to get to the table. My friends were nearly finished by the time I started eating. My friend got the eggs Benedict. It was pretty passable with the exception of the biscuit which was a bit dry and could have been salted more to bring out the cheddar flavor. It seems like there's always a line here so make sure to get here early. We arrived around 10:30 am and there was a 20 min wait... so it wasn't too bad. We definitely loved the vibes here. The seating area is a shaded area covered with green trees and shrubs. It was a pretty cold day when we came, but I loved how they had patio heaters on. We started out with the bacon flight. It was an interesting experience and pretty tasty. I just wished that the bacon was a thicker cut. We ordered the quesadilla, breakfast polenta, and the cheesy scrambled eggs. Out of all of them, the polenta was the best. It was seasoned well with plenty of bacon inside. For the cheesy scrambled eggs... it was pretty under seasoned and the maple sausages were extremely bland. We'll probably be back... but we'll stick to the "breakfast this week" items. Crispy and saucy chilaquiles?! Yes please. The corn pancakes were also a hit! This was for sure a great brunch spot that also offers some great morning cocktails to get your day started. The staff was attentive, and even made sure we had some extra syrup for our left over pancakes. The pancakes came with a side of bacon and we were able to ask for the thyme flavored ones. When the pancakes came out, the bacon didn't taste like thyme and that's when we asked our server about it. She realized we had the turkey ones and she was quick to correct which was great! Stopped here because it was on our way to a golf course. The name threw me off but the location was ideal so we made a U-turn and gave it a shot. Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Everything from the food to the coffee was high quality. A greasy or heavy breakfast can leave you starting the day on a bad foot and that will not happen here. Bacon, corn pancakes (I know but just trust the process) and the breakfast quesadillas were all perfect. You can really taste the quality. Service was on point and multiple servers stopped by for water and coffee refills which left us asking for nothing. Went for a bachelorette brunch with 13 people on a Saturday early afternoon (12:00pm). They have a nice outdoor seating area and can accommodate large groups with prior reservations. With larger groups they do have you pay a deposit and a minimum of $35 per person, deposit goes toward the final bill. Food/service/drinks were all great! For the first time in years of driving by,, there was no line waiting to be seated at this very popular spot and a parking space right out front at 1 pm, so I seized my chance to eat at a PS Michelin restaurant. Breakfast is served all day plus cocktails are available and their lunch menu is eclectic. I was promptly seated on their lovely patio which is screened from Palm Canyon by trees which provide welcome shade but allow mountain views. I now know why there is always a line. I tried something new, their monte christo with raspberry sauce and was wowed by the preparation with perfectly melted cheese on nicely toasted bread. Getting cheeky at Cheeky's for a nice brunhcy lunch after driving into Palm Springs for the weekend, is definitely something I recommend. This popular PS eatery is quite the place with an extensive outdoor patio that leads you into their more intimate inside with tables, bar seating and bright light shining in naturally through the large window overlooking Palm Canyon Drive. I knew when my guy picked his favorite breakfast meets lunch spot that it would be good, but when I heard Dua Lipa singing Houdini on the sound system I was like okay, it's gonna be great! I had time to look over the menu online on the way over, but having a physical menu gave me a chance to note a few more things for next time. Cheeky's offers classic morning, mid morning and early afternoon favorites, french toast, waffles, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, cinnamon rolls, toasts, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, sweets, sides, soups and more... Including cocktails and beverages in a variety of fashions. Lots of cool wine, beer and seltzer options. Cold beverages as well as hot in abundance. Love the condiment trays they bring out at the start of your experience - which include salt, pepper, hot sauces and a tin house syrup dispenser O.O beyond obsessed with that. Cheeky's has loads of cool merch for sale, but alas the dispenser isn't among the list of awesome things (shirts, glassware, caps, water bottles, dog treats plus gift cards). Very vegetarian friendly as well as very vegan accommodating. I had the roasted yam sandwich (w/o mayo or feta). It was truly enjoyable and with a splash of tapitio it was gold. I saw that in years past they had some actual vegan items, with non need for substitutions or omitting (such as their vegan breakfast burrito and beet salad at one point). The avocado toast I believe is a plant-based meal by default, that all said they're still very adaptable to most needs/restrictions. My boyfriend had the buttermilk & corn pancakes with blueberries It was a pretty cool looking stack of pancakes with a unique cheeky blend. Everyone was friendly, efficient and the space (including the restrooms - gender neutral) was/is super clean. The patio is very pup friendly and surprisingly mellow even with a full restaurant. There can be a bit of a wait at times and being in PS there's street parking in all directions but you may have to park a little bit further and walk over (we got lucky with a spot across the street). The quality of the food at Cheeky's is decent, but the portions you get don't really justify the price. My biggest gripe is the hidden surcharge. The restaurant secretly adds on an extra 2% to your bill. It may not seem like much to some, but I find it to be a dishonest practice. I recommend that the restaurant simply increase its menu prices instead of surreptitiously overcharging the customers. I don't like to patronize businesses that are dishonest. read more

The restaurant doesn't take reservations but they do open at 8am. On the Sunday we arrived, we got there around 9, and there wasn't a wait for the patio. This was our only option since we had brought my dog along. The patio is huge, and beautifully designed. I am the biggest fan of heuvos rancheros, and Cheekys version was delicious. They also had Tapatio on the table, which is one of my favorite hot sauces. Both of my parents ordered the Benedict, which came on a cheddar biscuit versus an English muffin. I preferred the biscuit since it was crisp and held its shape well under the hollandaise sauce and poached egg. Also the biscuit was very good on its own. I was surprised the waffle was as thin as it was. It really wasn't a good dish and the chocolate marscapone was a bit overwhelming for the dish. The fruit plate was nice though ! I would highly recommend that the restaurant consider investing in fly fans for their tables.
