Norma's at Parker Palm Springs Huevos Rancheros and Traditional Eggs Benedict were delicious. The Parker is beautiful and relaxed.
Norma's is an experience of self love. Staff was helpful and tentative. Knowledgeable of the menu and didn't hesitate to make recommendations, that were very delicious. The Oura was tropical summer island getaway. Very relaxing while being waited on. Every plate came out as a presentation. Valet parking only !!! Validation by Norma
Have now been to Norma's at the Parker about five or six times. Recently, my visit was so lackluster that I felt compelled to update my review. We had Sunday brunch reservations. It took about ten minutes for our server to appear. Unusual for this restaurant. We had no water until he sent someone over. Our server never told us his name, also unusual for Norma's. It took a long time for our meal to arrive. Yes, we are in high season and the restaurant was busy, but not packed. Norma's usually handles crowds well. We were a party of six and half of us were not happy with our food. The corned beef hash was about a quarter cup of under cooked potatoes and pearl onions. Under the eggs was a pile of shredded corned beef. Just a pile of meat. Not even crispy, just a pile of shredded beef. The chicken and mushroom omelette was bland, and the potato pancake not cooked evenly. One of our party told the server about his breakfast and we were comped some doughnuts, which was lovely. However, it was a pricey meal that was disappointing on many levels.
AMAZING spot for brunch! I initially was hesitant to come here because I'd heard the brunch was just okay, but this was my favorite spot we visited the entire time we were in Palm Springs. I ordered the short rib Benedict and was so impressed by the variety of flavors. Perfectly savory. The eggs were cooked just right and there was tons of short rib on the Benedict. My husband also loved his corned beef hash. My only complaint is that we didn't try any of their sweet dishes like the French toast, which looked amazing. Will definitely order next time. The service was pretty fast and efficient and we were in and out in about an hour. Overall a really nice experience and I can't wait to return!
Norma's was by far the better of the two restaurants at the Parker. The service was more seamless and I didn't have to flag down servers. This place does have a lot of items labeled gluten free but they had a lot of options to modify gluten free! I had the corned beef hash and they gave me gluten free toast in a separate toaster! Good cross contact knowledge. The ambiance is very cute, funky 70s vibe. The food was good and of course it's pricey just due to location. Really my only complaint. The food portions were large at least.
Located inside of the Parker Palm Springs, we have eaten here many times while staying at the hotel. Service is wonderful, the shot of the day as a complementary appetizer is a great start to your day! A healthy smoothie and delightful. Breakfast are the best way to begin your day. I have tried my way through their entire menu by now and worthy mentions are the donuts as well as any of their salads, you really can't go wrong with anything here. I love that they have a variety of breakfast and lunch items, many vegetarian items, hearty portions, beautifully presented! The quality and portion size is well worth the splurge, not just for hotel guests. This is a great option while in Palm Springs!
Looks like the last time I was there was 16 years ago and I know why. The service is decent, the food is decent, the dining room is still filthy, the chair was torn. The fruit flies were unbearable. It just isn't worth $8.00 for an iced tea and $32.00 for a salad. My bad for trying again.
Normas is an amazing breakfast/lunch place with great service, nice outdoor seating, and lots of delicious and healthy options. We ate here two days in a row while staying at the Parker. Loved their salmon and fish options. And they give you a free smoothie sample. Their coffee and espresso are also incredible. It was amazing.
Norma's at Parker Palm Springs is a full 5/5 -- breakfast done perfectly in true Palm Springs style. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is a must. I had the turkey and sweet potato hash with gluten-free bread, which was hearty and satisfying without feeling heavy. The classic American breakfast was equally impressive -- especially the chicken sausage, which was beautifully charred on the outside with a juicy, flavorful center. The yogurt and fruit parfait was fresh and balanced, a perfect lighter addition. Service made the experience even better -- Vanessa was warm, helpful, and genuinely happy, which set the tone for the entire meal. A tip: reservations are strongly recommended. There is a table fee that varies depending on the time and seating you select, but it's worth it. Walk-ins are technically welcome, but I wouldn't risk missing out. Also, parking is limited, so plan accordingly. A vibrant, delicious brunch experience that lives up to the hype -- I'd absolutely go back
Norma's is inside the Parker hotel, which is a gorgeous property with eclectic decor. You can get street parking and walk in or pay $15 for valet. The restaurant itself has a lovely, colorful patio and the BEST breakfast I've ever had dining out. I got the Wa-Za waffle and lemme tell you-- I'm so glad I treated myself! We'll be back!!

I have two complaints: Parking- it is a hotel but the staff does not communicate. I driver around trying to figure out if i was in the right place and had to wave down several people to try to understand where and how to park. My Caesar salad- the bread bowl was sooo stale, it was unbelievable. The dressing was very off. Too tangy and maybe too fishy. I couldn't when get half way through it.
We had lunch/brunch here twice in a three-day span in the middle of the week. There are plenty of creative choices on the menu. The dishes we tried over those two meals were: Huevos Rancheros, Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Quesadilla, Pancakes, Eggs and Hash Browns, and Claws & Chips (their version of fish n chips - except using lobster). All of the food was nicely prepared and well presented. Service was outstanding and the setting was beautiful. We didn't have any issues with parking because we were staying at the hotel. It's not difficult to see why this place is so popular.
The service is top tier. I wish i could remember our waitress name , She was amazing . She was super attentive without feeling pushy or ingenuous. Very sweet and personable . We ordered drinks and were brought samples of freshly made smoothies, so so delicious! Drinks were great. Food was impeccable , the flavors and preparation are 10/10 as well as the presentation. The vibes here are great , super bright and cheery !! Loved the aesthetic ! Fajitas were amazing and even splitting the meal between two people we couldn't finish. my other guest loved their dishes as well , fish taco and short rib benedict were to die for !!

Fun fact: the waffle in my Yelp profile pic is from Norma's in New York City's Le Parker Meridien, taken almost two decades ago. It felt like a full-circle moment to end up at Norma's in the Parker Palm Springs, brunching under the patio's colorful canopies, this past trip. Norma's does everything they can to combat the desert heat -- misters spray overhead, & complimentary mini smoothies start the meal. Ours contained strawberries & coconut, which was as refreshing as it sounds. And just like before, I ordered a waffle, the Waz-Za? topped with brûléed bananas & blueberries, to share with the table. Surprisingly not overwhelmingly sweet. For my main, I went very basic, very plain, with Organic Farm Fresh Eggs; I chose rye toast, potatoes, & crispy bacon as accompaniments, & everything was delicious. Well-appointed hotel location that embodies mid-century modern charm. Lovely service from everyone we encountered, from the hostess, to the ground's security guard, to our server who anticipated all our brunch needs. Norma's remains a special place in my travel memories. read more
So I've stayed at The Parker, but this was the first time eating at Norma's. What a treat! The staff was so very nice and they created a great vibe. We ate outside, which was nice, but the people really made it. Outside felt good, with foliage around, but not cluttered. I loved how all the trees were not lite up, giving a nice and natural feel. The food was very good. I'd admit that the prices felt a bit over the top. I enjoyed the fajitas, which were great. One more tortilla would have been helpful, but no worry, I don't need the carbs. On the other hand, my salads was excellent. The cocktails were excellent! Each drink that was had at our table was made perfectly, which was impressive. The dessert was delicious and they even gave our birthday person a special treat. Parking is valet only, from what I could find. Arg read more

Located in the Parker Palm Springs hotel, Norma's is a Palm Springs establishment everyone should visit. If the weather permits, definitely sit outside in their colorful, covered patio. The staff are attentive, friendly, and welcoming who can help decipher the menu. I say decipher in the best way possible because Normas menu is one of the BEST menus I've ever seen. The names are clever, the preparations thoughtful, and the presentation's exceptional. They start you off with the smoothie "shot" of the day, which was strawberry banana and orange juice. We then ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the crab cake "pancakes". The sandwich was large and the fries FANTASTIC (super crispy yet meaty). The two crab cakes were flattened but large and delicious. They come with an aggressively dressed mixed green salad with white balsamic and a single beer battered onion ring that is filled with a dill tartar sauce/aioli. Highly recommend eating the onion ring first otherwise it gets soggy and if you're not a heavy-dressed salad person, then ask for lighter dressing or on the side. Otherwise, fantastic and flavorful dish. Order a glass of their rosé and you'll have it poured out of a double magnum bottle. Or a Diet Coke and you'll have a personal carafe on the side. Awesome spot. Bring a group so you can try a bunch of different awesome dishes and just have a good time. Can't wait to come back. read more
We ate here for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was amazing everything was cooked great and tasted wonderful. The portions were huge and the bacon was to die for. The lunch wasn't my favorite, the quesadilla was a bit soggy, the Caesar salad lacked flavor. The ambiance and service were great both dining experiences. read more

This place is not worth the hype. The hotel is designed cool, but for a place that has the nerve to charge for reservations the service and food were a huge let down. Took forever to get someone to help us, we both ordered the burger and what came was something you could barely describe as a slider. Tasted fine, but was literally two bites. Told the server this and they said yeah the burgers are really small. So they've basically gotten this feedback repeatedly and not felt compelled to fix it. None of the other dishes coming out looked particularly appealing either. Spare yourself and eat somewhere else in town. read more

Norma's was a great spot to stop in for brunch. It filled up pretty quickly on a Saturday morning, but was not overwhelming. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. A must try is the crunchy French toast. We shared between the group and it was a perfect sweet addition to our savory meals. Our waiter was kind with vegetarian substitutions for the Benedict's. (I.e. sub bacon for avocado). Everyone enjoyed their meals. We sat on the patio and while it was hot, the misters helped keep guests cool. Only downside was the mosquitoes--we were attacked with bug bites. Valet is $15 when validated with a meal ($25 without). read more

Super cute restaurant with colorful patio and fun atmosphere. Our server GG (or Gigi??) was super nice and friendly. He was quite knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions! I love that they give you a taster shot of the days smoothie flavor - so yummy and fresh! We got huevos rancheros and the sweet potato and turkey hash. Both were delish! I would love to see some meat option with the huevos - maybe carne asada or chorizo? Fun spot! read more

Make a reservation for this spot for your next trip to Palm Springs. The menu is full of amazing dishes that made placing our order so difficult because we each wanted everything! We decided on the crunchy French toast, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, Nutella pancakes, the ceasar salad, sweet potato hash, breakfast quesadilla and some grapefruit. Everything was divine! The ambience as you walk in the lobby is straight out of magazine. There are so many things to see and places to lounge if you have a wait. read more
NORMA'S patio is gorgeous (and very hot should it not shade in your favor). I brunched here with my parents on a recent trip to Palm Springs. I ordered the scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast quesadilla ($29). There's no real description to this entree (because duh?) only that it comes with Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole, and salsa. This dish was so odd because the quesadilla is topped with a crispy tortilla, sunny side up eggs and then the Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole, and salsa are heaped on top of that little topping. All were a little unnecessary, but I guess if you're charging $29 for a quesadilla, there should be some creative leeway? Overall, the brunch was fine though. My parents enjoyed it and we escaped the heat in the knick of time. The food at NORMA'S is a lot like the food you get when you order room service except here, it's public. It's not bad. It's just not that good. NORMA'S fills in every dollar sign in that $$$ description. read more
Best potato pancakes we've ever had! Definitely worthy of the award, accolades and reviews! Order this item!!! First the ambiance of the hotel lobby is beautiful! Really classy joint! We had brunch outside though since we had our dog and found the tables stained and still dirty from spilled juice from earlier guests. While we enjoyed the bright colors on the benches and sun panels, I found the stains unpleasant. Ambiance 4/5 We really liked they started off complimentary shooters of their smoothie of the day, it was nice welcome drink! We ordered chicken Caesar salad (most beautifully presented with a circular crouton dish!), potato pancakes (also creatively presented), eggs Benedict and French toast. Presentation of the food is truly polished and intentional - very nice!! It was a feast for the eyes and taste buds! We did find the French toast to be too sweet and we weren't able to finish due to sweetness. Food 4/5 Prices are fairly high for Palm Springs. It wouldn't be a regular outing due to cost but I would definitely return for the potato pancakes! Service was friendlish but felt transactional and was inconsistent. Value/service 4/5 Parking via valet only but they do validate to subsidize the parking cost. read more
Excellent brunch, on the pricey side, but great food and service. Did brunch, brought in a Laurent Perrier Rose Brut, $35 corkage fee (maybe excessive). Steak and eggs outstanding! An iconic hotel and an incredible restaurant, you can't ask for more! read more
The atmosphere at Norma's was wonderful, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was average at best and definitely not worth the high price--I'd honestly prefer dining at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable. read more
