    Baked Goods - yummy!

We had a wonderful first time lunch at the Lost Property Restaurant and the Skylark Hotel in Palm Springs. This is a very small venue - with only 3 tables inside, and maybe a dozen outside by the pool. We ate inside and had great service and food. We enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich, the kale salad with chicken added, the spicy tomato baked eggs, and the heirloom tomato toast. Three of us had Diet Coke which is poured from cans and one had iced tea. All were served in beautiful glasses. We also tried an almond croissant that was absolutely delicious and we were told they come from a bakery in La Quinta. We look forward to returning to try their dinner menu.

Some friends and I stumbled on this place while looking for a place to eat for dinner. We didn't realize it was attached to a hotel until we pulled up, but that didn't really matter to us. It is a more narrow space so if you have a large group I would call ahead or maybe skip this place all together. Before I dive into the food, I just say the service was phenomenal. Everyone was very attentive and quick to provide whatever we needed. I think if I came here again, I would just stick to the appetizers (not pictured) and their drinks. The entrees that we got lacked some flavor which surprised me because I really did enjoy their smaller plates. I think I would go back to try their breakfast/brunch menu but for dinner, this place was just alright.

So glad I found Lost Property! It was purely by chance, too, bc we were staying in the hotel it's in, arrived hungry after a long drive, and decided to stay local. Wow, did we luck out. The gyoza was outstanding, with super fresh chicken on the inside, and a delicious sauce with the perfect amount of heat on the outside. The Caesar salad was inventive, again with a little hint of spice with the togarashi sprinkled on top. My man enjoyed his lobster roll, solid fries, and the dessert was fantastic. The only miss, and it was kinda a huge one, was the fried chicken. It was about 90% breading, crumbled to sand while eating, and the sauces didn't hit, either. Not enough to ruin the meal tho. Didn't have to go far to get home afterwards, either!

Cute little brunch spot affiliated with a hotel. Staff was great and attentive. Shared a breakfast burrito that was incredibly tasty! Recommend for an easy cozy brunch in Palm Springs!

I randomly stumbled upon this little gem during a walk Thank you, Christopher and Giselle! I loved the drinks and the great vibes. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Enjoyed a nice dinner at Lost Property!! We had the restaurant to ourselves for a little bit and our server was great and super attentive. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back again!

We came here for breakfast since it is conveniently located at Skylark, the hotel we stayed at. We were seated immediately upon arriving here at 9 am. The host/server was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the menu. As we sat down, we couldn't help but notice how sleek and trendy the restaurant is. It is a small place but they really know how to utilize their space. Many folks who are here are just started out their day, lots of coffee and mimosa talks, definitely lots of positive happy vibes! They have a simple menu. They have toasts, baked eggs, smashed burger, salads, shared bites, burgers, or cocktails. We were just getting our day started so I got a breakfast smashed, chocolate croissant, fries fries, and coffee. The breakfast smashed burger was one of the best smashed burgers I've ever had. So juicy, full of flavor, and the sunny side egg cooked to perfection. The chocolate croissant is very good too! I also like the fact that it is not very crowded, a nice lil oasis away from the hustle and bustle in downtown Palm Springs. A must stop if you ever stay at the Skylark!

I love love love the Lost Property bar in hollywood, so when my parents came into town and wanted to go to Palm Springs, I knew we had to check this place out! It did NOT disappoint. It's super cute inside, and feels perfectly mid-century modern, Palm Springs-y. Everything we ordered was a 10/10 for us. Dad got the "Jalisco Maid" cocktail and my mom and I had the "basil & berry" and we started with the cornbread skillet with miso butter... it was phenomenal. We scraped the skillet clean. For mains, we split the fried chicken, the steak frites, and the fish and chips. All were superb. The tartar sauce that came with the fish and chips alone is worth trying it. Service was lovely and attentive. Highly recommend trying this place! My mom enjoyed it so much, she wants to stay at the hotel it's attached to when we come back

Visited for a birthday brunch, service and food was good. The restaurant/bar area is small, I would not suggest for large groups over 4.

Lost Property delivers on flavor with absolutely delicious food and cocktails--so good that we'd return just for those alone. The pricing is reasonable, making it a great spot for a night out without breaking the bank. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Our table of five only received four waters, and our waiter didn't even notice until we pointed it out. Cocktails took far too long to arrive, despite us clearly seeing them sitting on the counter while our waiter lounged at the bar. It felt like the staff was more focused on collecting a paycheck than providing attentive service. That being said, the food and drinks were outstanding, and if they can step up the speed and attentiveness of their waitstaff, this place would be top-tier. Hopefully, management takes note because the kitchen and bar are doing their part exceptionally well.

This is the lobster Benedict on a piece of brioche toast. It was amazing and I have no complaints here. They do run out so get here early.

The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.

The drinks were strong and well-made, and even though the place was packed, our waitress stayed attentive and checked in with us consistently. It's clear they specialize in more elaborate cocktails, so a bit of a wait is understandable. The ambiance is also a highlight--dark, intimate, and really leans into the tiki vibe. **Night two** was the complete opposite. We accidentally mixed up our reservation time, but since the place was nearly empty, we were seated right away, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We had a different waitress, and despite being one of only a few parties there when we arrived, we waited **45 minutes** without seeing our drinks--while other groups seated after us were already being served (and even getting second rounds). We eventually had to flag down our waitress, who had hardly checked on us at all. When we asked about the delay, she said they were "very busy,". After mentioning how long we'd been waiting, there wasn't any real apology--just visible annoyance. She told us our drinks were "up next," but after another 20 minutes passed with nothing, we decided to leave after over an hour of waiting. It was disappointing, especially after such a positive first experience. A simple apology or some communication would have gone a long way. Sadly, the inconsistency makes it hard to know which version of this place you're going to get.
