Went for the first time on Saturday, and it was fantastic! You order at the counter and the lady was very helpful and had recommended the tuna salad sandwich and it was amazing! You don't really get served much, you order at the front, get your own utensils, and we needed to go to the front to get a refill. They bring you your food and drinks, and that's pretty much it. Didn't really bother us, but if you're looking for more service this place might not be for you. The Arnold Palmer was delicious, tasted homemade. And the food was so good. The vibes were chill, we were able to sit inside and it was a happy place to be in. I told my wife that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. I've been to Yes Please in La Quinta a few times now, and overall, the food is solid, honestly, the food is always amazing. No complaints there at all. That's really what keeps me coming back. The only issue I've run into (twice now) is with takeout, and it's been a little frustrating. The first time I ordered takeout, I waited inside for about 20 minutes. I started noticing people who ordered after me (and were dining in) getting their food before me. When I finally went up to check, my order had just been sitting there the whole time -- no one ever called my name. Gave it another shot today, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. This time I was told to wait outside for takeout and that someone would call me. I got my coffee within the first five minutes, but then waited another 15-20 minutes while, again, people who ordered after me were getting their food. I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. I'll be back this summer to give takeout another shot and see if things have improved. read more

I had the opportunity to stop by Yes, Please for a quick breakfast before work. Right when I walked in, I could tell this was a place that takes its food and service seriously. You order at the counter and grab a number to take to your table. I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken chorizo and an iced Americano with oat milk. We have come here so many times to enjoy our Thai tea, milk teas, and all the different varieties of coffee and Matcha. We also enjoy the food, but the best part is how much our dog loves to come here and how welcome we feel. This location has hosted so many different businesses through the years, but there's something special about this place. We continue to have great memories, and great food and always bump into really friendly people here. We love that the food is consistently well prepared and they have many healthy choices. Came here looking at the good reviews. Ordered some food and coffee. Was able to find a table immediately. The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks. I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue. This place was good for iced coffees and chai, but the iced matcha tase like straight milk! If you come here get their breakfast burritos, but do NOT get the chicken and waffles!!! So disappointed. Majority of my group got the chicken and waffles to go. For the owners I suggest separating the chicken from the waffles as the waffles got the chickens oil all over it. We recently moved to La Quinta and decided to have my birthday breakfast at Yes Please. It is the cutest little coffee shop in Old Town with a darling little outdoor patio for people watching. The setting is gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly and kind, going above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday! We got a locals loyalty card, and also found out that they have some really good happy hour specials in the afternoon, I believe I saw $5 beers, which is a great deal, so we will be coming back after some midday pickleball to enjoy some beers on the patio! read more

Great little cafe and brunch/breakfast spot in Old Town La Quinta. They have patios and are dog friendly! There is indoor and outdoor patio tables and are mainly serve yourself style dining with servers bringing your food and coffee at your number table after placing your order. We came in summer so come early before the heat spikes but had a nice umbrella covered table outside in the patio. Their coffee is very good and also have pastries or a fuller lunch/brunch/breakfast menu and great service! We split the Eggs Hollandaise and were very happy with our ooey runny poached eggs and biscuit. Coffee refills are free as well. This is one of the best hidden gems in La Quinta. I've come multiple times and their matcha is to die for! I always have to order a matcha AND a cold brew because i just have to have both! I really love their jalapeño cheddar bagel breakfast sandwich it's always so yummy! My husband loves getting their salmon breakfast sandwich! I would suggest to have at least 2 roast options so people who drink coffee with no sugar can also have a good experience , The place looks ok for eating and seating. This has become one of my staple coffee shops in the valley. The staff is always extremely friendly, when I come in with my dog they are always excited and offer a pup cup. Their biscuits are great but their most recent addition, the Huckleberry Scone, is my favorite treat. Sometimes lines can be long due to them having a full service kitchen and it might not feel worth it when you are just getting a coffee but once I've ordered the coffee usually comes out pretty quick. I read the reviews and say some posts on Instagram and I was a bit skeptical because sometimes those things can be all hype. Boy was I WRONG! Family ordered the breakfast burrito with the chorizo, breakfast croissant, the chilaquiles, and I got the Chicken and Waffles. The flavors on everything were AMAZING!!! This place is so cute. In the main area of Old Town La Quinta, the location is lovely. The patio is spacious and chill. I get why it's so busy. I liked the menu but I did not order the right thing. The components were good but together a mess. Really good very soft scrambled eggs with cheese AND chipotle mayo make for a hard to eat (or enjoy) breakfast sandwich. Wet! I couldn't eat much of it, for me inedible. I liked the horchata latte. I'd probably go back to try some other items. Hopefully enjoy the experience a bit more. We ordered at the counter. There was a line but it moved quickly. We both had the chilaquiles. I had it with chicken chorizo and hubby had the sausage patty. Personally I think the chorizo fit the dish much better. There was just the right amount of sauce to coat the chips and it was darn flavorful. The egg was poached perfectly. We shared the huckleberry scone. I'm not a fan of scones as they're so often way too dry. This one was soft in the middle and still very much scone-like on the outside. It had a good amount of huckleberries. The server who brought our dishes out to our table offered to bring pup cups for our dogs which was a very nice touch. We sat on the outdoor patio which was wonderful on a beautiful day. The tables have umbrellas so the sun wasn't a problem. read more

Yes please is so adorable and a great cafe in old town La Quinta. I'm sorry that I've slept on this place for so long because it really is a great spot to stop for breakfast/brunch or to grab a coffee to go. This spot is rightfully popular and busy most weekends when I've walked by so I hadn't ventured inside. However, on a Monday morning it was much slower and the perfect opportunity for me to drop in for a more lowkey coffee hang. Staff are exceptionally nice here, very welcoming and kind. The gals that helped me at the counter and crafted my drink were very sweet. Felt that the service was warm yet they kept things moving, the perfect balance. Their drink and food menu is very large. You order at the counter and then they'll give you a number if you are dining in and they bring your food to you. For to go, just leave them your name and they'll call you out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is great and breaks up the noise a bit. Prices were definitely reasonable for the quality. I had their iced matcha strawberry latte which was definitely one of the best I've had on this side of town. Ceremonial grade matcha really kicked this drink up a notch. Great flavor profile. The real star of the show is their mixed berry danish. Oh Lordy I could have taken home five! I really don't eat a lot of pastries but this one was calling my name as it was the last of the berry ones left and OMG so good. Buttery, flaky and fruity - made for the perfect breakfast treat. 5/5 stars for service, food/drinks, and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. read more

The employees were really nice and attentive and complimented me on my outfit. As for the food I've had many avocado toast and this one by far has been my favorite it's full of flavor.
