My favorite coffee shop in the Palm Springs area! And trust me, I've been making the rounds... If you like your coffee a little unique- try their UBE (a purple yam from the Philippines that has a nutty, vanilla taste) and / or PANDAN (A Southeast Asian plant that has a coconutty, vanilla and slight grassy taste) lattes. Yummy factor is through the roof. And the people here are so nice! Always welcoming! I haven't tried their empanadas or their baked goods but they sure look tempting! Next time. On my first day in town, this is the first place I woke up early to get to. I couldn't decide between the Ube & Pandan lattes so I indulged in both! What a flavorful way to get the day started! Thanks Varraco! You rock my world!

Varraco was a great coffee stop in Palm Desert. They were literally roasting coffee beans inside the store when we got there, the smell was insane!! To drink we tried the brown sugar latte with cold foam and a strawberry matcha. Our favorite was the brown sugar! To eat we had an empanada and lemon muffin. I would definitely get the empanada again!

I have now been here twice in one weekend, it's that good. Nothing has disappointed us yet. We've ordered a plethora of drinks, banana q latte with extra shots, strawberry matcha, ube matcha, brown sugar matcha, varraco latte, ube latte. So good! They are so quick, so nice and so helpful. Wish there was more seating but I will keep returning when visiting!

Very cool little coffee shop! Super friendly employees, assortment of pastries/breakfast items, and very good, strong coffee! I ordered the brown sugar latte, and it was great...strong, and not overly sweet. We were curious about their empanadas, so we ordered one beef (for my husband) and one chicken for me. I did not try the beef empanada, but the chicken one was tasty. At first I was thrown a bit because the dough definitely had a sweetness to it which I was not expecting. I think I am just used to Mexican empanadas which typically are not made with a sweet dough. The filling was similar to a pot pie filling -chicken and peas, only not creamy. I actually liked it more than I expected. Overall, glad we stopped in!

Escaped the Palm Springs heat and found a gem at Varraco Coffee + Roasters. Our family stopped in for a refreshing, high-quality drink and left even more impressed after the owners shared the story behind their mission of supporting Philippine coffee farmers. Great coffee, warm hospitality, and a meaningful purpose behind every cup. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

came in at the right time. they were about to close in a couple of minutes, and me and the sister were looking for some drip while visiting from SD. First off that BQL (banana Que Latte) was spot on *AMAZING*. The langka (jackfruit) and banana were all in there. Like you totally can taste it. It was balanced so well. Tho, I think it should be turon Latte (spring roll wrapped banana with jackfruit inside) not Banana que. But totally love this drink!! this alone make me want to go back again. its a small boutique but clean, and nice wall photos too.the moment we walked in the coffee aroma welcomed us. I love it!! Other than the BQL we ordered BSL (brown sugar) they do have milk alternative such as pistachio, oat, almond, etc. We didn't get to see other options for pastries since most were all gone by the time we got there. Overall, I would def recommend this place for anyone visiting PSP, Cath City, Palm Dessert, Indio or Coachella. Five starts would totally recommend and will becoming back in the near future. Thank you for bringing such good drinks to the Valley!

While I loved the aesthetic of this Filipino-inspired cafe, my friend and I thought our drinks were mid. I ordered the Pandan latte and while it was pretty green in color, I could barely taste the Pandan. Not sure if that was more food coloring than flavoring. The drink was also pretty milky. For $9 with oat milk this was not worth it, but it wasn't terrible. My friend ordered the ube matcha and she felt similarly. She couldn't really taste the ube flavor. This spot offers a lot of unique Filipino menu items, but the execution is a bit disappointing.

Very popular Filipino fusion cafe. Vibes inside are great, feels like a small business and the person taking our order said their coffee beans come straight from the Philippines. My partner and I thought the drinks were okay. He got a panda latte and I got pistachio. Both were more on the milky side in my opinion, the syrup flavors were there but on the mild side. Note on the menu the varraco latte is a plain latte and the Pinoy varraco is an americano. I would want to go back and try just their drip/cold brew to judge the coffee better. The stand out thing about this coffee shop is the pastries. We tried the pork adobo padesal, sisig burrito, and beef empanada. All were very good but my favorite being the pandesal. Service was very friendly and they do have a rewards system via phone number that includes a birthday reward. Parking in a shopping complex so no issues there. There is no restroom available for customers. Inside seating is limited, maybe about 10 stools as pictured with low tables and one outlet near the couch in the back. Much more abundant outdoor seating. Would not come here to study based on seating but will be back to try more

Got the pandan latte and the strawberry rose latte - amazing! Their breakfast burrito was so good - very unique flavor tying it back to Filipino flavors. My boyfriend ended up getting a second one because it was too good! The bagel was great as well! Great find in the high desert!

Quaint little coffee shop (philipino flavors) with so much to offer, definitely one of my favorites in the desert! Love Theres parking in the front (limited) but a lot more in the back. They have coffee, matchas, and delicious pastries. Customer service is always great, and very willing to answer any question! Tried their iced Pandan latte (comes with coconut milk) and I added cold foam. Very different but delicious taste! Definitely try if your feeling adventurous. Husband got the BananaQ latte with pistachio milk and extra shot, also delicious. A must try if you are in the area!

Made time to visit this place after all the Coachella partying! Ofcourse found this place on Yelp looking for matcha in the area. It was fairly busy when we got there on a Monday morning but the staff was efficient. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. They're also roasting beans! We got the ube matcha, brown sugar latte, adobo pandesal and sisig burrito. W tip everything came up to around $40. The ube matcha was delicious - matcha was strong and you could taste the ube. The brown sugar latte was amazing - the beans truly shine. The adobo pandesal is soft and full of flavor. The sisig burrito was also delicious - I wish there's rice in it but the crispy pieces made up for it. I recommend this place if you're in the area. Will add this as a new stop whenever we're in the desert.

First time trying this coffee shop and everything was amazing! We got the pandan and banana latte. We also had the Sisig burrito, which is a Filipino breakfast burrito, and the empanadas. All of it was amazing. The service was great and the ambiance is very chill.

Varraco Coffee was one of my favorite escapes in Palm Desert, especially when I'm looking for a calm, minimalist space to relax. Their Strawberry Matcha is really good without being overly sweet and the Banana Q Latte is such a hidden gem. Shoutout to the barista that put me on! What really brings me back, though, is how genuinely kind the baristas are; their warm service makes the whole experience feel personal and welcoming every time I walk through the door.

The location was easy to find, ample parking too. The restaurant itself is kind of small (it's kind of more like a coffeehouse with a decent-sized table-service area), but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table on our second visit. (Yep, we liked it enough that we went twice during our trip!) The servers and staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was hot and delicious, and the portions were generous. And there were a good variety of savory and sweet brunch items to choose from. They also serve lunch and have a bakery counter, but I didn't look too hard at those parts of the menu because I knew I wanted the short-rib scramble as soon as I saw it on the online menu, haha! And the biscuits--oh my goodness, they are so good. They taste perfectly homemade and are pillow soft yet just the right amount of crumbly without being a dried, cracking mess. Across my 2 visits, I had the short-rib scramble (yum) and the Meany (basically eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit--yum), and my daughter had the biscuits and gravy, which she said was great. I highly recommend Wilma & Frieda's and will definitely go back on future Palm Springs trips.

Golf course was closed but we were still able to see it. It's a big property. Lots to do. Do like they allow dogs since we had ours. They had multiple pools which we liked. We didn't use it but near one. Neither one looked too busy which was nice. Once we got settled into our room we went to go see Pinz and Pints since they had arcade games, including a duckpin bowling. My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. The resort fee also felt hard to justify. The included amenities did not seem to match the extra charge. The two complimentary drinks were limited to Truly canned drinks or a small pour of hard lemonade or iced tea, which felt underwhelming for a resort of this caliber. We did enjoy the range balls, but as early risers, I would have appreciated access to the spa or pool earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets had what looked like an oil or grease stain, the closet door was broken, and the overall furnishings and finishes felt worn and dated rather than well maintained. This is very much a family resort, so that is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Even at the adults-only Paloma Pool, children were jumping into the water and splashing guests' drinks while parents appeared unconcerned. That made it difficult to relax in what was supposed to be a peaceful setting. On a positive note, the entrance walkway, lobby, and open-air courtyard are beautiful and make for a strong first impression. Unfortunately, that charm does not extend to the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of a refresh.
