    Pandan and Banana Q latte
    Itzy G.

Quaint little coffee shop (philipino flavors) with so much to offer, definitely one of my favorites in the desert! Love Theres parking in the front (limited) but a lot more in the back. They have coffee, matchas, and delicious pastries. Customer service is always great, and very willing to answer any question! Tried their iced Pandan latte (comes with coconut milk) and I added cold foam. Very different but delicious taste! Definitely try if your feeling adventurous. Husband got the BananaQ latte with pistachio milk and extra shot, also delicious. A must try if you are in the area!

Made time to visit this place after all the Coachella partying! Ofcourse found this place on Yelp looking for matcha in the area. It was fairly busy when we got there on a Monday morning but the staff was efficient. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. They're also roasting beans! We got the ube matcha, brown sugar latte, adobo pandesal and sisig burrito. W tip everything came up to around $40. The ube matcha was delicious - matcha was strong and you could taste the ube. The brown sugar latte was amazing - the beans truly shine. The adobo pandesal is soft and full of flavor. The sisig burrito was also delicious - I wish there's rice in it but the crispy pieces made up for it. I recommend this place if you're in the area. Will add this as a new stop whenever we're in the desert.

While I loved the aesthetic of this Filipino-inspired cafe, my friend and I thought our drinks were mid. I ordered the Pandan latte and while it was pretty green in color, I could barely taste the Pandan. Not sure if that was more food coloring than flavoring. The drink was also pretty milky. For $9 with oat milk this was not worth it, but it wasn't terrible. My friend ordered the ube matcha and she felt similarly. She couldn't really taste the ube flavor. This spot offers a lot of unique Filipino menu items, but the execution is a bit disappointing.

Got the pandan latte and the strawberry rose latte - amazing! Their breakfast burrito was so good - very unique flavor tying it back to Filipino flavors. My boyfriend ended up getting a second one because it was too good! The bagel was great as well! Great find in the high desert!

Grabbed some coffee on our way to the zoo today, chose the right place!! Husband had the Pinoy latte which was basically an americano and I have the Varraco latte. Both great choices. Loved how the latte was strong but not sweet! We had to try some pastries so beef empanada, adobo pandesal and almond croissant. We opted to have our croissant warmed up. Beef empanada I wouldn't order again, but the adobo pandesal was delicious. It was a bun filled with pork, so tasty, the croissant was flaky and great too. Would love to try other products. Anyways, it was busy but service was quick!

I found this place because it was near where I was staying and I was definitely impressed! They have Ube Lattes and Pandan Lattes. I first tried the Pandan latte and it was really good. I came back another day to try the Ube latte which was good too. Let's say I liked the Pandan latte a lot where I came back on the third day. I saw some people ordering the matcha drinks and those looked good too. This place also has a cool atmosphere, they have their roasting machine and they also show the culture of the Philippines. You can tell this place is a go to spot because I noticed a lot of customers talking to the team in a first name basis which is cool because they seem to be the community coffee shop. I was able to talk with one of the owners for a little and they were very friendly. Next time I'm in the desert I'll definitely come back.

Love that this is a Filipino owned coffee place! If you love UBE! This is your place! If you love good friendly service, this is your place! If you love coffee, - all ways, this is your place! The food menu will not disappoint! We tried the adobo pandesal, and sisig burritos! What a treat! We also tried the banana latte and ube latte! Oh so yummy! Thank you for this amazing experience!

The coffee here is so delicious! We had the Banana Q latte and the brown sugar latte and both were delicious. There is pretty limited seating in the actual shop and the chairs don't make it a conducive space to stay for too long. They had so many delicious looking pastries. We got the almond croissant which was tasty- I like mine with a bit more filling but the croissant base was nice and buttery! They roast the beans right in front of you which is so unique and fun! A great place to stop for a quick drink if you want great coffee and fun syrup flavors.

Filipino inspired offerings in Palm Desert? Opo! Ube Matcha Latte - Oh yeah! More Ube forward than expected which was fine with me. Adobo Pandesal - Delicious! Guava Bread - Righteous! Staff - Great!

Stumbled upon this place & wow! I've been on a banana coffee kick lately but have yet to find THE one & lemme tell ya- you need to try this one. Not too sweet, smoothest espresso & real banana.10/10 no notes. The place itself is small, but the vibes & decor were on point- not to mention the commercial grade coffee roaster that greets you as soon as you walk in. I only stopped in for a quick coffee but can't wait to be back to try other menu options!

Lots more choices - next time will try the guava

Great find for a different kind of coffee! I had the iced Varraco less brown sugar with oat milk( plus a dollar) and it was tasty! Knowing nothing about this beans - having grown up in Asia - the hubby tasted the difference! Very tasty! The price helped with it being $6! I also came for the local pastries but only able to snag the pandesal with pork in it! Bread was tasty!!! That was my highlight! Loved the outdoor area! Great find! salamat ! Argh. Forgot pictures of my order! Parking is easy peasy go around the front of the store and tons of free parking in the back !

Varraco Coffee is a Filipino-owned specialty coffee shop located in Palm Desert. What makes them unique is that they source their coffee directly from the Philippines. This spot is in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern setup with about 4-5 tables for seating and some additional outdoor seating as well. For their menu, they have a variety of different coffee, matcha, and tea drinks to choose from along with some fresh pastries as well. Wifey and I pulled up to support and opted to try the BananaQ Matcha Latte along with a Chicken Empanada and an Adobo Pandesal. Overall, everything we had was great and we enjoyed the laid back ambiance of the shop. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by to grab a drink and show them some love!

Great cafe, great coffee and food. Had the iced pandan latte (very flavorful, love the coconut milk) and Ube tea bread (fluffy and sweet). My partner loved the adobo pan de sal. They roast their beans in-house and source them from the Philippines. As a Filipino, I'm always looking for Filipino establishments. I loved seeing the sugar pumps labeled with familiar ingredients. I'll be coming back here next time I visit the area!

They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of unique syrups and drink concoctions so it made it hard for me to choose. I asked the worker for her recommendations and she kindly explained the menu to me. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. So, I got the iced cafe de olla latte and it was the perfect sweetness with hints of spice that added flavor to the coffee. I would order this again and wanted to come back here the same day. There was no line when I went but they was a line forming when I was leaving. There's no seating area so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

The funny thing? While the retail was still shuttered, the cafés and entertainment spots were already buzzing. That contrast -- empty storefronts on one side, the smell of fresh coffee on the other -- gave the whole place a quiet but inviting vibe. I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. That simple gesture made the experience feel way more personal than you'd expect from a mall coffee stop. As for the drinks? The macchiato was bold, clean, and exactly the kind of kick I needed. The lavender matcha surprised me -- creamy, floral, not too sweet, just enough to feel like a treat. Together, they struck a perfect balance: one to wake me up, one to slow me down. So yeah, it's technically "just" a coffee spot in a mall, but don't let that fool you. Between the timing, the vibe, and the barista's extra touch, it was one of those experiences that sticks.

We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level. The place filled up steadily until we left about an hour and a half later. We have a patio outside, which is receiving a new sunshade and lights. Mona the owner explained to us that on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They will be serving dinner. She was warmly greeted by people who are obviously regulars to the café. We look forward to coming back soon because it was very difficult to make a decision on the menu and everything looks so good.
