Matcha latte
Mirabella M.

Only came across Mentosa because we were browsing around the Mojave Flea Trading Post when we saw this long line and had to see what it was all about! I was hoping it to be good because they serve Nami Matcha (one of my fave matcha powders) but I might have set my expectations too high. I ordered a regular matcha latte ($8) with madagascar vanilla house made syrup ($0.50) and cold foam ($1). I'm wondering if I should have chosen either the syrup or the cold foam and not both as the flavors were a little overpowering and couldn't really taste the matcha. I do appreciate there's no milk substitution charge. The staff was so friendly though and there's some tables to sit as well. I'd be willing to try it again if I'm in the area!

We tried the matcha and spanish latte, and they were good, but it might be worth exploring other cafes as well. The ambiance and location is great since you can also do some shopping. The staff were very friendly, which made the experience even better.

Hijo ha cortado

They've only been open for 2 months - but this place is such a great find off the strip. Drinks: - Matcha cortado ($5) was so good, I ordered a hojicha cortado ($5), Also delicious. Vibes: Coffee was fantastic, latte art and all -- love the vibes (moody black equipment) and great music, some seating and located in the back of a very fun souvenir /clothing store that's very LA/hipster/coachella. Service: Staff was VERY friendly, can't wait to come back.

Iced matcha latte with oat milk and Madagascar syrup :)

I'm very picky when it comes to matcha, but this place is really a hit. There's not many matcha places in Palm Springs that are easily accessible and I'm really impressed with this one. It's inside the Mojave Trading Post downtown. A nice little area to shop around to wait for your coffee. From the amount of times I've been here, the staff have been nothing but kind and helpful. I would highly recommend making the stop here if you are in the area. The matcha is the perfect green--a nice strong bitter taste with plenty of house made syrups to select from. They also give you a stamp card! Thank you :)

Whisper and Dirty Chai Tea

Wow this ace is definitely a hidden gem! Took us a second to find it and realized it was in a market place. So cool to get our coffees and also get to shop. I'm not sure if it was the owner who helped us but she answered questions, told us how long they had been open, she was super cool. Definitely will be back here to try the other drinks. I also love there is spots to sit and drink your coffee but it was packed when we came in!

Whisper Latte = perfection

The Whisper Latte is perfect. Not too sweet with every flavor coming through (coconut, orange). I can still taste the coffee, which I want. I am visiting and have already come back twice for this latte.

Matcha with oat milk, lightly sweetened
Emilyn A.

I tried an iced matcha latte with oat milk, lightly sweetened, with coconut as an add on - not sure if it was like a coconut foam or blended into the matcha but I couldn't really taste it. I also felt that for the price ($9 something), it was above what I'm used to paying for matcha. I do appreciate the service and the fact that the staff was so friendly and helpful. I also really liked that I could ask for my drink to be lightly sweetened, since I try to avoid added sugar whenever possible. I'd definitely be open to trying other drinks here, or perhaps getting a different kind of foam or sweetener to the matcha.

Two Spanish Lattes (one with cold foam decaffeinated & the other normal/original)

First time trying this semi-new coffee place in downtown Palm Springs and I have to say it was delicious!! Wow I will definitely be back and it just might be my new fav coffee spot in downtown Palm Springs. The staff was really sweet as well. While we waited, there's lots to look around since I think it's located inside the Mojave Flea Trading Post.

Quad espresso
Andy V.

Stopped in for coffee and ordered a quad espresso, and it was exactly what I needed. Strong, smooth, and well pulled without tasting burnt or bitter. You can tell they take their coffee seriously and know what they're doing behind the bar. The space felt welcoming and easy to settle into for a few minutes. Service was quick and friendly, which made the visit even better. If you're looking for a solid espresso and a reliable neighborhood coffee spot, I'd definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a try.

The staff is nice! A place where you walk into and are greeted immediately - no awkward waiting around to ask questions. The barista gave me her recommendation on drink which I ordered and came out very good. Match was delicious but I wished I ordered extra hot. Overall, I will be coming back to try out the other drinks they have.

Lemon latte

Came in not knowing what to order and asked the barista for a recommendation--he suggested the lemon and it did not disappoint. Easily one of the best coffees I've had. I tried it with both espresso and hojicha, and both were so good in their own way. You can tell they really care about their flavors here. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

Note to owner: The staff does not mention that even though the food is not on the display, that there is still some available in the back. I almost left without getting food because I thought it was sold out. Isha took my order and forgot to bring out 3 hot items. I had to ask multiple times to get my food and to have it warmed up...while she was using her phone.

First off that BQL (banana Que Latte) was spot on *AMAZING*. The langka (jackfruit) and banana were all in there. Like you totally can taste it. It was balanced so well. Tho, I think it should be turon Latte (spring roll wrapped banana with jackfruit inside) not Banana que. But totally love this drink!! this alone make me want to go back again. its a small boutique but clean, and nice wall photos too.the moment we walked in the coffee aroma welcomed us. I love it!! Other than the BQL we ordered BSL (brown sugar) they do have milk alternative such as pistachio, oat, almond, etc. We didn't get to see other options for pastries since most were all gone by the time we got there. Overall, I would def recommend this place for anyone visiting PSP, Cath City, Palm Dessert, Indio or Coachella. Five starts would totally recommend and will becoming back in the near future. Thank you for bringing such good drinks to the Valley!
