The barista/cashier got this taken care of right away. The interior has a specific vibe, and while I may not be their target demographic, I can tell a lot of care went into the design and layout. My only real problem is that there was only 1 person working as both cashier and barista, so our drinks took a bit over 10 minutes to get to us. Hopefully it was just a one off for them.

BUT the past few times that I have visited the Cathedral City location have been a disappointment. I went a few weeks ago and waited for over 8 minutes in the drive through window behind another car with no one to assist us. I had groceries in the car and it was 110+ degrees outside. Finally, I gave up and went inside to see if there was an issue. I was told by the sole worker that the other team members were in a meeting. As a previous bank manager I know how dangerous it is to leave a team member on the floor alone for an extended time. I told the young lady to tell them to come out immediately. She didn't want to, but I insisted. When the others came out, I told them how dangerous it is to leave one person on the floor alone. I understand that a manager may need to speak to a team member, but you ensure that you are in a place that you can monitor the floor. I went back recently and there seemed to be confusion inside regarding the orders. Who ordered what and which order went to which car. I understand that it is hard to get employees in the valley, but I have never experienced this kind of service at the other Koffi locations, which lends me to believe that they are either way under staffed or there is a management issue. Either way please do better for the safety of your staff.
