Pretty bummed with an our experience here! I've had Carousel bookmarked for a while as we frequent the desert often. We were celebrating a birthday, so it felt like the perfect occasion to order a beautiful cake and enjoy breakfast as a family in their dining space. Employees are rather unhelpful. Our cake order was not ready on time, which was a bit frustrating when managing schedules with kids. I also didn't appreciate the employee watching our entire family select breakfast items to only subsequently tell us that they are not serving breakfast at all that day.

Now that is a sandwich. Best in psp

What is happenings. Service has declined. Hard to find someone when u walk In. Further more the quality of the baked good not as good as In the past. Example the Italien biscotti has changed in taste. Use to be amazing now just average

Spinach was incorporated with the cheddar cheese. It was actually pretty gross.

I ordered the ultimate croissant breakfast sandwich and asked if potato salad came with it. I got no response. Apparently it's five dollars for a scoop of potato salad which if I had known that I would've not gotten it. Nothing else comes with the $17 sandwich. This was at 12:20 PM. 30 minutes later this is what I received and it was $25. I asked for it to go because I am at the courthouse and at jury duty and I cannot spend an hour for lunch. They need more help here. Also the sandwich menu said provolone and this is clearly cheddar cheese and it was mixed in with the scrambled eggs along with the spinach. The waitresses were clearly busy and she gave me no alternative than to get it to go and I still paid the $25 I would not recommend this at all. Used to be really good but now that they've expanded their menu that's gone downhill. Go there if you have time money and patience or just grab a roll to go from their bakery.

We're Dining with The Davids. When we go to a restaurant, we bring a group of friends known as our "Taste Buds." We typically order a 12-course meal, which allows us to really get to know the menu. At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorite dishes, which we turn into video content for Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. For this visit, we brought 7 of our Taste Buds to Carousel Bakery in Palm Springs--and every single person left impressed. This spot is a total hidden gem near the airport, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or grabbing something on your way in or out of town. Owners Liz and Alberto clearly pour their heart into every homemade dish. We sampled a variety of items including the Cochinita Burrito, Huevos Rancheros, Ultimate Breakfast Croissant, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Ciabatta Tri-Tip, and Focaccia Brisket. Not a single miss among them. But the true star? The Pistachio Cheesecake--rich, creamy, and hands down the best pastry of the day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, plus catering services for larger events.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether you're local or just visiting, Carousel Bakery is absolutely worth a stop.

Wanted something quick and was somewhat tight on time but wanted to try some place different. This has a Togo area and a sit down area where you can get waited on. I got, to go and sat in the area since had some time to finish what I ordered. They do have a decent amount of pastries to choose from which is good and a decent drink menu. Nothing really stood out to me but what I ordered was good. Nothing crazy good, just good. The people working there though seemed a little all over the place and almost seemed confused how to run it or at least deal with the customers who kept coming in. Especially when they didn't know where to go to be seated. Either way it's decent inside. It's comfortable and the feel of it and where it's located, suits the feel for it. Price side you are looking about $5-10 per item per person. The sit down menu which I glanced at, seemed a little pricier than other cafes but who knows the food might be worth it. My first experience was average. I might or might not give it another try. But maybe your experience will be better than mine.

Lox & Egg Benny on a jalapeño cheddar scone! Ask for the scone to be warmed up!

What an amazing hidden gem! I regularly drop my dog off to get his haircut in this plaza and am always looking for things to do. Some of the other restaurants don't open until later in the day, but this one was open nice and early. I was expecting a small bakery or coffee shop, but was pleasantly surprised to find full seating when I arrived! The place was super busy too -- lots of people coming in and out to try the delicious grub. I had the lox and eggs benny on a jalapeño scone and it was incredible. My only suggestion was that the scone would've been amazing if it was toasted, but I'm sure they can do that for you upon request! Also a heads up that their hollandaise sauce is more on the lemony/citrusy side -- something to be mindful of if you're not into that. I thought it was great contrasting flavors to the spice of the scone! Will be back again!

I have cheese croissant with a small piece of ham and no cheese. At least I couldn't see the cheese.

It was close to end of day so I was quick to browse the offerings before placing my sandwich order. Ended up getting a Caprese and Parma on focaccia. The staff seemed preoccupied with Cleaning but did their best to get my sandwich order out fast. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this is my first time. I asked the lady behind the counter for a popular favorite recommendation and she seemed confused and just said everything was good. Two sandwiches around $40 so I was hoping for something great. Unfortunately we agreed that the taste was good, but nothing amazing and probably not what we were expecting for the price. Everything fell just a little bit flat. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I ended up drizzling balsamic vinegar on the Caprese at home since they only put olive oil and a little bit of pesto on the bread and the whole thing just felt lacking ever so slightly. The shop itself was clean and well kept and had a lot to offer so I still recommend stopping by and browsing for Italian goodies. Just not my favorite sandwich spot. Maybe we will try something else another day or just stick to the pasta!

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. If we'd had a cooler I would've grabbed some tuNo salad, Egg-y salad, smoked chick'n & pasta, and CTK tempeh pâté from their refrigerated section, because everything looked delicious. But now I have the perfect excuse to return to CTK on my next PHX-LAX drive.

The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.
