This is an authentic panaderia! It is very small. You walk in and pick your pastries using a tray and tongs. Place your tray up on the counter and ring the bell. Someone comes to the counter and rings you up. The prices are super cheap. I only paid $2.50 for 2 large sized pastries. The lady who rang me up was very nice and explained the process, since this was my first visit.

YUM! YUM! YUM! Monica and her husband bake with lots of love in their pastries. Our favorite place for bolios, conchas and more. They were generous to make customized conchas for Pride. Cash only! You won't regret it.

Their pan dulce is so good! Fresh and tasty. Not too sweet and a great variety. If you are lucky they come warm.

The food is better than the hospitality of the owner. Patronage is a gratis, and there are far better places to go. ~Eat well, Live well.

Great little place to indulge in baked goodies, and fresh breakfast bites like croissants and pain au chocolat (probably called sthg else).

You don't really get served much, you order at the front, get your own utensils, and we needed to go to the front to get a refill. They bring you your food and drinks, and that's pretty much it. Didn't really bother us, but if you're looking for more service this place might not be for you. The Arnold Palmer was delicious, tasted homemade. And the food was so good. The vibes were chill, we were able to sit inside and it was a happy place to be in. I told my wife that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. Also, we noticed a lot of people just ordered drinks, so I need to go back and try out their coffee!

That's really what keeps me coming back. The only issue I've run into (twice now) is with takeout, and it's been a little frustrating. The first time I ordered takeout, I waited inside for about 20 minutes. I started noticing people who ordered after me (and were dining in) getting their food before me. When I finally went up to check, my order had just been sitting there the whole time -- no one ever called my name. Gave it another shot today, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. This time I was told to wait outside for takeout and that someone would call me. I got my coffee within the first five minutes, but then waited another 15-20 minutes while, again, people who ordered after me were getting their food. I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. I'll be back this summer to give takeout another shot and see if things have improved.

The cake was amazing, it had some sort of coconutty filling that made it really moist, kind of like a tres leches cake. The toffee chocolate was my second favorite. We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. We'll be back for "research purposes" and to satisfy our sweet tooth!!

It was cold out, but I still requested to sit outside. They were short a server and still graciously accommodated my request, which I truly appreciated. I ordered the beignets, a side of bacon, and orange juice. The beignets came in a set of four -- crisp on the outside and soft, pillowy yumminess on the inside. I skipped the syrup because honestly, they didn't need it. Anything extra would've taken away from how good they already were. And the bacon? Crispy to perfection. With tip, it came out to $38.02. I can't speak to the full menu since I only tried the beignets and bacon, but based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend this place. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Even the patrons were lovely...smiling and wishing me a good morning as they passed my table. It's quiet on Sunday mornings, which makes it perfect if you're dining alone with a good book. I'll definitely be back.

I have been coming to LQ Baking company for over 10 years and today was the last time I will ever go there. The food was legitimately awful. So awful that I didn't even want to complain, I just wanted to get paid and get the f out of there. The fries have changed, the homemade jam they used to serve is no longer, the butter is packaged, the food was freezing cold, the potatoes were bricks, the gravy looked like murky water instead of gravy, the biscuit was burnt. the service was mid because they probably know how bad the food is also now. Everything was awful. Truly sad. This restaurant should be ashamed of itself. There is a 0% chance I will be trying their restaurant attached to the baking company either. Imagine the type of Italian they must make if the breakfast has become this terrible. If I could give it 0 stars, I would've. Cheap and greedy ownership

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd.
