a variety of pastries

This is an authentic panaderia! It is very small. You walk in and pick your pastries using a tray and tongs. Place your tray up on the counter and ring the bell. Someone comes to the counter and rings you up. The prices are super cheap. I only paid $2.50 for 2 large sized pastries. The lady who rang me up was very nice and explained the process, since this was my first visit.

YUM! YUM! YUM! Monica and her husband bake with lots of love in their pastries. Our favorite place for bolios, conchas and more. They were generous to make customized conchas for Pride. Cash only! You won't regret it.

Their pan dulce is so good! Fresh and tasty. Not too sweet and a great variety. If you are lucky they come warm.

The food is better than the hospitality of the owner. Patronage is a gratis, and there are far better places to go. ~Eat well, Live well.

Yum! I got the 4-pack for about $19, and I have no regrets. My favorite was the coconut. The…read morevanilla frosting was so fluffy and perfectly not too sweet. The cake was amazing, it had some sort of coconutty filling that made it really moist, kind of like a tres leches cake. The toffee chocolate was my second favorite. The chocolate frosting was perfect and not too sweet. They also had some gluten-free and keto options. Service was great, and it looked like they put the cupcakes together on the spot, which took a few minutes to prepare. I'll definitely be back for the yummy coconut cupcakes.

Somewhere between sunstroke and sugar cravings in the desert, we found ourselves at Tiffany's Sweet…read moreSpot... and honestly, bless the heat for guiding us there!!! We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. We'll be back for "research purposes" and to satisfy our sweet tooth!!

I've been trying to make it here for a beignet breakfast for over a year, and I finally did...and I…read morewas not disappointed! I came on a Sunday morning. It was cold out, but I still requested to sit outside. They were short a server and still graciously accommodated my request, which I truly appreciated. I ordered the beignets, a side of bacon, and orange juice. The beignets came in a set of four -- crisp on the outside and soft, pillowy yumminess on the inside. I skipped the syrup because honestly, they didn't need it. Anything extra would've taken away from how good they already were. And the bacon? Crispy to perfection. With tip, it came out to $38.02. I can't speak to the full menu since I only tried the beignets and bacon, but based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend this place. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Even the patrons were lovely...smiling and wishing me a good morning as they passed my table. It's quiet on Sunday mornings, which makes it perfect if you're dining alone with a good book. I'll definitely be back.

Hubby ordered a California omelet he asked be cooked lightly, not browned. Showed up over cooked and brown. Looked like plastic melted on top. Absolutely tasteless. Late comers got served before us and I had to go ask where our food was! Will not return. Too many other restaurants in the Desert serving great food and service. Ambience was fine. Nothing special, nothing wrong. Average. Recommend the pastries only.

I want to eat their dessert but always get too full from the sandwiches to try it. If you are ever in the area, must try sandwich shop. The accolades in the back with their story is pretty sweet. It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment. I'm pretty tolerant of grumpy people (you know, sometimes there's a reason) but this just felt really icky -it was our intended destination after a hot drive from Phoenix and it did not sit well with us. We won't be returning. Food =10 Customer service = so disappointing 3

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.
