Lots of parking in a massive lot ... Had our eye on this local coffee spot when we came into town for an event. In hind site it is waaaaaay more than coffee and I want to come back for a meal. Took my mom and my wife here after lunch for a coffee and dessert, they sat us in the "Harry Potter" table and that was a nice treat. My mom got some elaborate pistachio iced latte and it was a really nice treat, especially in the heat. I got the tuxedo cold brew and that was also a great afternoon treat drink in the heat. My wife went with traditional coffee and it came in a side pot and was also really good. I ordered the cinnamon twist to enjoy with the coffee and expected a simple twist. This came warm and sticky with wallops of whip cream and was really and amazing dessert. After sharing that we went with the suggestion of the waitress and got something that had peaches and strawberries and was heaven on a plate. Im not even sure what it was but by then realized that everything here was excellent. My only regret is we came after lunch and now wish would have came here for lunch too. Next time I want to try the meals. The staff all worked well together and ran the place well with great energy and very helpful. As I get a bit older adding "clean bathrooms" is getting more important and they take good care of those rooms too. If your in the area know they have EXCELLENT coffee and much MUCH more. read more

The handcrafted specialty lattes and teas were amazing. Highly recommend the salted caramel dreams latte hot. Friends had teas and matchas. Everyone loved what they got. The eclectic mismatched cups were be beautiful as was the presentation...same thing with the food! We were in town for a girls weekend and the first day 3 of us went on a whim because it was close to our resort and looked really interesting. The whimsical eclectic decor was so cute and fun, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive on a Friday morning. We loved it so much we decided to bring our whole group back on a Saturday morning. They told us to make a reservation and recommended the table near the front. So we reserved that. It was a bit disappointing that when we arrived the next day with the large group they didn't seem to be ready for us. They wanted to put us at a different table because they had pulled a section of table out to accommodate a solo diner. But they did eventually remedy that so we could sit at the original table. Now granted they had warned that it gets busy on a Saturday but it wasn't super busy when we arrived, so a little surprising that we were seated for about an hour before we got our order taken and no one came earlier to ask us about beverages first before coming to take out food order it took a long time to get our drinks and even longer to get our food...and also surprised that no one ever acknowledged the long wait times...but we were having fun catching up since we don't all see each other often, so easily able to pass the time and everyone agreed it was worth the wait. The menu is pretty extensive literally something for everyone from sweet to savory breakfast or combination of both. Some of the highlights were the breakfast burrito, linguica and eggs, anything that had the fresh flour tortillas, really. The berry Belgian waffle & biscuits and gravy were all raved about as well. Everyone also loved the take on the black beans, looked like refried but maybe with a bit of cotija cheese mixed in as almost a light purple color. We would all definitely come again and have already recommended to friends just not on a Saturday unless you go when they open or maybe with a smaller group. read more

Okay this place is WILD in the best way. Walking into D' Coffee Bouteaque felt like a French Alice in Wonderland moment... I was literally getting distracted by light up nutcrackers and trees to the ceiling haha. Such a fun, eclectic find. Service was FANTASTIC. Like genuinely warm and attentive. It's more than just coffee too they've got a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, and they said all the pastries are made fresh. Not the most vegan friendly spot but you can tweak a few things if needed. Cutest little surprise... they added a pastry on top of my husband's coffee which I thought was such a cuteeee touch. We have wanted to come here for a long time since moving to Palm Desert, a couple of years ago. My Son, the Navy Veteran really enjoys coming in for coffee and pastry before heading over to CSU where he works. We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level. The place filled up steadily until we left about an hour and a half later. We have a patio outside, which is receiving a new sunshade and lights. Mona the owner explained to us that on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They will be serving dinner. She was warmly greeted by people who are obviously regulars to the café. We look forward to coming back soon because it was very difficult to make a decision on the menu and everything looks so good. read more

Love the ambiance, interesting decor. Belgium Waffle is SUPERB, French Toast is excellent. Coffee is flavorful, if u order the drip coffee u get a carafe with extra coffee so it explains the cost, very extensive menu. Somewhat pricey but worth it! The Hollandaise on the Florentine benedict the best I ever had. They had a large variety of benedicts on the menu, so lots to choose from. What I liked about the hollandaise is that it tasted fresh, with a good amount of lemon on it I was pleased They could have put a little more spinach on it, but it was also fine as it was. read more

I got the chilaquiles here and they were 6/10 due to the fact the chips felt store bought not fresh. The drinks tho were 10/10 I got the hazelnut drink and wow I would get that again. What a great and a bit quirky place. The decor is entertaining, but not over the top. This was our second visit to D' Coffee in as many months. The coffee is the best I've had since a recent springtime, three week, trip to the northern half of Italy. A trip that changed my view of coffee for all time. And not just great coffee, the menu offered a nice selection of breakfast & brunch selections. From a simple pastry to very nice Benedict. By today's standards the pricing is very reasonable. The service is about as good as it gets, there's the feeling that everyone you interact with is an owner or partner, there is that level of interest. All in all this is a great option for breakfast or brunch if not interested in the usual coffee shop vibe and drip coffee fare... Not that there's anything wrong with that, those too have their place and I enjoy them. D' Coffee Bouteaque is a bit tucked away in a large strip mall so for us unfamiliar visitors it took a small effort find it. read more

Why I won't be back...... 1. Waiting to be seated was way too complicated. The first 2 servers who asked us (me and my son) if we were dining in, then proceeded to walk away the owner then came over and seemed bothered by my response of waiting to be seated. 2. It took 20 minutes after seated to be asked for a drink order, no server acknowledged us it was the owner again who noticed no one was helping us. 3. After the food was dropped off we were ignored once again. Finally got a servers attention and asked for a box for our leftovers and was then forgot about again. I had to go inside and ask for boxes and have my son wave over the food so flies wouldn't land. Again the owner had to help. She took away our leftovers to box up and brought back the check. 4. The owner proceeds to tell me I deserve some type of discount after all of this. I thanked her and she walked off with the check. When she returned she tells me it would only be a couple dollar discount (my bill was 49.75) and offers my son a pastry instead. I found this particularly odd. She knew the service was absolutely horrendous and proceeds to offer me a discount and then says the discount isn't worth anything when I never even asked for the discount in the first place. 5. Yes it gets better. After signing my check and still leaving a generous tip I see my 'to go' bag completely leaking fluid, actively. Somehow, when the owner took the order back to be prepared to go, the huge container of sauce was not shut. The bag basically ripped from the bottom because it was covered in so much liquid. My to go stuff was completely covered in this sauce I was taking to my husband. After cleaning the outside of the containers and putting them now in a plastic bag. I was off to leave but not before she commented "what color interior my car was inside" and " if it would've happened inside my car would a mess it would've been, " like it was funny. One of the oddest dining experiences I've ever had. Their food is pretty good, but I cannot tolerate this type of service. I blame myself, after the first few red flags, I should've left. read more

This place was such a pleasant surprise. The vibe is so funky and weird, but I really enjoyed the decor.. it's very different. We ordered chilaquiles and huevos rancheros and they were very delicious. Tasted authentic! The matcha and flat white were pretty basic but I'm not mad at it. The service was pretty good as well.. If you're in the area and you don't stop by, you're missing out! Not only was the food excellent, but the ambiance was whimsical, delicate, and unique. I ordered the carne asada tacos, which are off-menu, and they were probably the best tacos I've ever had. They came with black beans seasoned with minced garlic that I couldn't get enough of, Spanish rice with cashews, and two types of salsa. I'm craving this dish now. The server, Mariano, was extremely courteous and attentive. He told me that if I ordered something I didn't like, they'd make me something completely new and comp the cost of meal I returned. He accidentally spilled my husband's coffee in the saucer, and without prompting, he replaced it with a cleaner one. If I lived in Palm Desert, I'd be here every day. No joke. We're coffee snobs. We go to Palm Desert every December. My husband is big on lattes. They have excellent lattes here. They use a good quality of organic coffee beans. The servers were very helpful. The croissants had a nice crunch and a flaky inside. Exactly how we liked them. We didn't have anything more than pastries so I can't comment further on additional food. I visited D' Coffee Bouteaque late morning for breakfast, accompanied by my partner and two pups. The menu is, to be honest, worth the visit in itself. I'm not sure if the spelling errors are deliberate or not, but they're utterly hilarious! "Rose pedals" and "Ferry dust" for example are listed as drink ingredients, both of which conjure up lovely mental pictures. Do not, however, let that impression be the one you take of this place. It's slick, professional, and of extremely high quality in EVERY other way. The servers are all immaculately groomed and uniformly attired, and the service was superb. The blended cold coffee drinks we ordered were spectacular, both in appearance and taste. My Prime Rib Dip sandwich was loaded and beautifully presented, and extremely enjoyable, and my partner commented how the egg-white omelette retained its fluffiness and was perfectly cooked. This is a great spot for a fancy breakfast or brunch, and you'll get a giggle from the menu for no extra charge. Don't expect much help against the desert sun from the patio misting system though, so if you're eating with pets it's better to make it an early trip even with the umbrellas giving some shade. read more

Let me start by saying how cute this place is, truly adorable. Yes, this is the same place that was destroyed by arson about a year ago off of Country Club Dr., but they have relocated and are back better than ever. The coffee is incredible. They opened just a week ago and I have been here 2x for breakfast and cappuccino! We started off our breakfast with a cinnamon roll appetizer (don't judge)! :) I had the waffle the first time and the egg white breakfast the second time, both delicious and paired well with my coffee.....yum! We had Claudia and she was very courteous and quick to bring out our order and drinks. She made friendly conversation and made us feel very welcome. Sooo happy to see the new location, this is my favorite restaurant in the area. On one of my recent lunch visits I ordered the Short Ribs and Wow!!!! Such a delicious decadent meal. The short rib slices melted in my mouth, (I ordered the chimichurri sauce on the sides since the waitress said it was a tinge spicy). The vegetables were seasoned and cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were creamy and wonderful. The owner gave us a beautiful cream puff tower dessert that was amazing, definitely getting that next time. I came for the chai tea. They have three options. They have a in-house powder mix that they made themselves, Tazo concentrate, or brewed bag tea. For vegans, they have oat, coconut, and soy milk. The decor is so cozy, sweet and eclectic. It is like you are on a magical journey within different fantasy worlds. There is also covered outdoor seating with fans for the hot days and heaters for the cool days. The staff was incredibly friendly. Although there was no one at the front when I walked in and they were a tad busy, several people acknowledged me right away and said they would be with me. I don't think I waited for over a minute and I had two people ready to take my order. Everyone was very helpful. Today I just got a to go order, but I will be back to try something on the menu. For vegans with the food, you have to be a bit creative. For vegetarians, no problem, there are plenty of breakfast options with eggs and cheese products. read more
