Stopped in and picked up a morning bun and baguette. Both were very good. The morning bun had hints of cardamom - which I wouldn't usually like - and orange which was tasty and not too sweet. Friendly service. Would recommend! I came around 2pm and I would say over 60% of the goods had been sold. They do have a somewhat limited menu with various kinds of breads and cookies primarily and a few extras such as coffee cake, scones. and the morning bun. A great option but wouldn't work for people looking for the variety of pastries typically offered at a coffee shop for example such as muffins, croissants, or anything with cream/custard/filling. Notably there is very limited seating with 1 table inside and none outside yet as they just opened. No restroom either. Parking is in a plaza lot so no issues there.

Well, mom and I went the other day and it's very clean and the service is very nice. The best thing was the sourdough bread that my mother bought she loved it and she also loved the cinnamon roll pastry. I got the baguette and the coffee cake and the cinnamon roll and the walnut bread. It was good, but I don't think I would buy it again because for the price it wasn't exceptional. Next time I groom my dog next store I'm going to buy the sourdough bread for sure which is around 12 or $13 and was exceptional.

Absolutely obsessed with this adorable little bakery in Palm Desert! Everything we tried was incredible--the zucchini chocolate chip bread was perfectly moist and full of flavor, the coffee cake was rich and delicious, and the morning buns are truly to die for. They have the most amazing hint of orange zest that makes them stand out in the best way. On top of that, it's such a cute, cozy spot and you can really feel the love put into everything. It's a small, locally owned business run by a wonderful couple, which makes supporting them even more special. Highly recommend stopping by--you won't regret it!

The variety of ice creams (both dairy and non-dairy for those who are lactose intolerant like me) and the ability to sample them without pressure was great. The server took care of us, and the outdoor seating was the perfect place to enjoy our cones on a hot summer night. The massive crowds of people there also enjoyed their night as well, as the place was poppin'. The portion size of the scoops, their patience, and the quality of the cones, all together made for a quality night.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

Back home in Fenwick, DE, there used to be a small shop near her house that served homemade ice cream from a local dairy farm it was excellent. One of our favorites there was butter brickle, a rich, creamy ice cream with pieces of toffee mixed in. At Handel's, they offer a great deal where you can get four flavors in one container for around $8, and the scoops are very generous. We really liked the salted caramel, but they have close to 30 flavors, so there's definitely something for everyone. Seating is limited to just a few tables outside, and the line can get pretty long. On warmer days, you might want to keep the AC running in the car so your ice cream doesn't melt too quickly if you're taking it to go. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Palm Springs hopefully soon.

My kids' excitement about going to an ice cream shop quickly turned into confusion and wariness of my promises. While the cashier had to make all 3 of our shakes after taking the order, she was super friendly and patient throughout, even offering my kids extra toppings and sample popcorn on the side. The great service could have easily been th best part of the experience had the toffee not tasted so good. I ended up getting the toffee popcorn and the toffee bites for myself--both were delicious. It is not inexpensive so I'm not sure I'd say the taste fully justifies the price. That said, the toffee is really, really good, so I'm trying to make it last as long as possible. Overall, I'm glad we stopped. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out, but if we were nearby again, we would definitely stop by.

We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!!
