We come from Los Angeles where you can get whatever milk tea you want, so we looked for a place here to see what they have. Tea N Tea had lots of good reviews so we dropped by. We made it jumbo ($2) to share, chose oat milk ($1), and added aloe vera jelly ($0.85) and black boba ($0.85). The drink came out mostly purple with only a little matcha on top and even after mixing it, it basically tasted like a taro milk tea. Many shops fail one or many of these criteria, with pre-mixed teas, no dairy milk option, no sweetness option, or an extremely sweet boba inherently. Not the case here! Everything tasted fresh and refreshing. The pearls were a bit firm at the time I visited; I recognize the challenge of keeping this perfectly consistent every hour of the day, and everyone has their own preference for texture, so I have no problem with it. My friends and I came in about 15 minutes before closing and there was only one lady working. Even though she was by herself, she greeted us with a smile and was so friendly. We ended up ordering six or seven drinks, and she never made us feel rushed. While we were waiting, one of our friends accidentally fell in the parking lot and scraped her hands, arms, and legs pretty badly. Since there wasn't a public restroom, we asked if she could use the sink in the back to wash her wounds. At first, the employee said no which we completely understood since it's where they prepare the drinks. But once she realized what had happened she immediately wanted to help. Oh my goodness! You've seriously got to try the Oreo Marshmallow Cookie! It's not too sweet, but just right! Yum! My bad for thinking I could just split one with my husband. We moved here to Sun City in late September and so far we have explored a little and found some really nice hidden gems around Palm Desert. Our little grandrascals from Wisconsin are visiting for the warm weather and they suggested we get a boba drink together. Since we had seen Tea N Tea on a recent thrifting expedition, we decided to stop in after a meetup with family down the road. We were thrilled to see such a sweet spot for drinks and snacks. There are French pastries called "dacquoise" i many flavors such as strawberry, salted caramel, my favorite pistachio, matcha, ube, and many more. I got a box of 8 assorted pastries. My eyes fell on the great photos of Korean Mandu potstickers and a chicken plate. I am remembering these for my next trip in! We ordered our boba drinks. My dragon fruit with blueberry popping boba was delicious and fresh. My grandson enjoyed a milk tea and my granddaughter picked the cutest ever, very pink boba slushie. The list of flavors and protein shakes and other drinks is a full one. I had no phone with me to snap photos. There are Korean delicacies and snacks for sale too. The woman greeting us made all our drinks in a jiffy. She helped with my many questions about the food and drinks.
