blackberry matcha latte, cardamom latte
Sarah C.

cozy little italian cafe cum shop, and the staff was really friendly. we got the: - blackberry matcha latte with coconut milk: unfortunately we couldn't taste the self-proclaimed ceremonial grade matcha, it tasted more like a blackberry tea refresher if anything (maybe green tea was used instead..?), the color wasn't green at all too - cardamom latte with oat milk: this was too sweet, but you could taste the cardamom, and the base espresso was good

The service was wonderful, and I ordered the Croque Madame, which I really enjoyed. The portions are generous, so come hungry. And definitely try their in-house French coffee -- it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Such a beautiful spot with great food, great service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. I'd absolutely come back

I've been getting a little fed up with relying on Google recommendations lately. You'll see places with 5,000+ reviews and almost five stars, then you actually go there and the food is a huge disappointment. FARM was one of those places where the food actually lived up to the reviews and the hype. I ordered the Spanish Migas with a side of potatoes and a small French press. The Migas were perfectly cooked, and the spice level was just right. You could taste each ingredient separately, and the salsa was really good too. The potatoes were probably one of my favorite parts--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The coffee was great as well. My server, Carol R., was very attentive and kept checking on me throughout the meal. She even double-checked the name and receipt, which I appreciated because she was clearly paying attention to the details and making sure everything was correct. The atmosphere is really nice too. It actually feels like you're sitting on a farm, which makes the whole brunch experience feel special. And considering the portion size, quality of the food, and how popular this place is, I thought the price was very reasonable. This place actually met my expectations, which has been rare lately. If you're in Palm Springs and looking for a good brunch spot, I'd definitely recommend FARM. I just wish I had found this place sooner!

The service was okay--friendly, but nothing out of the ordinary\. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was $19\. I thought, "Well, I don't go out for breakfast that often, so why not?" Unfortunately, the Eggs Benedict was horrible\. The sauce tasted more like gravy than hollandaise\. There was absolutely no lemon flavor, and when I asked for extra sauce, I tasted it again--it was definitely more like gravy, and I could actually taste the flour\. The English muffins themselves were also very small\. I've always loved Elmer's, which is why this was such a disappointment\. Prices have gone up everywhere, and I understand that, but when you're paying $19 for breakfast, you expect the food to be good\. Buyer beware\. A small detail, but one I noticed. I ordered the buttermilk and corn pancakes with bacon, and they were really good. The pancakes have a dense, chewy texture, with little pieces of fresh corn throughout, which was a nice surprise. The maple syrup also came in a cute little can. The full order was more food than I could finish, so next time I'd probably get one pancake with a side of bacon. If you prefer lighter, fluffier pancakes, the texture may not be for you, but if you like something denser and chewier, they're worth trying. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and thought they were good, but he probably wouldn't order them again. He prefers eggs Benedict on an English muffin, while Cheeky's serves theirs on a soft, biscuit-type bread. So this would mostly come down to personal preference. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was also really good. Overall, Cheeky's is a good choice if you want a pleasant patio, friendly service, fresh juice, and creative pancake options. Just keep in mind that the pancake portions are generous! We enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

The French toast wasn't French toast or taste like it, just mushy thin bread. The waffles were chewy and thin as well. Some of the worst I had. The bacon flight was tasty but the bacon was extremely soft and soggy. The chilaquiles were not tasty whatsoever, overly sour and you had to pay extra to add eggs on it!. Coffee had a weird aftertaste and was overall gross. We did not get the hype at all. Wasn't worth it

FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. LIBATIONS: drinks and bartender were excellent, fun, and the photo print was very cool. WAITSTAFF: just so nice, and fun making the experience all that much better. We have been enjoying The Plaza Theater so spending a little more time in Palm Springs and this will be one of our favorites places to relax prior to an event. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. Don't be an angry rude touron, we don't need that vibe and we see some of that in PS.. You can try for reservations, not sure if they take off season.

The room itself had multiple seating areas. There was a couch and coffee table as well as a table and chairs. I loved that there was a seating area on the patio (and that there was a patio) even though I wasn't able to enjoy it this trip. I liked the convenience of having a fridge in the room as well. The bed was comfortable and everything seemed very clean. I would've loved to of had some qtips & makeup remover wipes that have been at other properties I've stayed. We were there for a conference and a group of us showed up around the same time from the same flight. I was a bit let down by the rooms versus the cost.... now hear me out -- i get it theres a pool, golf, some restaurants and to be fair im only here for a conference -- but the rooms need a major upgrade -- first off the doors are heavy and all the rooms all i heard was doors slamming -- especially when we first arrived -- i think the cleaning staff just kept going in and out a room across from us and the dorr slammee 20+ times. Maybe our room was a handcapp assessible room - not sure but we had a tub with all the grab bars and shower. The water was hot, and the room was clean but we were seriously lacking extrra towels, no hand towels, had to ask for more toilet paper, and ran out of shower gel. the bed was comfortable but when it was time to sleep i could hear everything... people upstairs walking in their room or whatver they were doing was the worst - i thought they wre going to fall through! then the people getting back to their rooms late at night and the slamming doors -- i cant! I didnt sleep well. We also hd a very large crack in the door between the door and sdoor sill which not only let sound echo in but also light. Didnt use the pool, but walked around -- they have a koi pond - it needs to be cleaned out - could be nice but clearly needs a good cleaning. We did eat on site at Pizini restaurant and it was okay. Coffee shop was fast, friendly and good! Check out was a pain- I was going to check out with the desk but one lady was doing something at the computer and not waiting on people while two other employees where just with customers - one who was along a bunch of questions about shipping something and the other who was trying to figure out what room he wanted - I waited and waited - orders my uber and finally just walked over to the lady who wasn't helping customers and asked her if I could just give her my keys - she didn't seem to want to take them and said she would give him to the guy who was waiting on the guy who wanted to ship something. - so they need more staff at the check in-out area - there were about 10 people in line when I left. I ended up using the app for check out anyways and the hotel sent me an email thanking me for my stay overall, be prepared to walk a ways to the rooms, and if I wasnt at a conference I definelty wouldnt pay those prices to stay here.

I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.
