The place is small and parking isn't that easy (especially on weekends), so definitely come early. They also sell out of pastries and sweets/desserts pretty quickly, so early is key if you want the full selection. My faves: the ham or salmon croissant, the fruit tarts, and the quiche. My fiancé and I opted to share a croissant smoked salmon benedict and a quiche lorraine combo with apple cake. The salmon benedict was ever so subtly delicious with the mix of salmon, croissant, eggs, and hollandaise sauce. Nothing overpowered one over the other. The quiche lorraine though? Perfection. Absolute perfection. The eggs were fluffiest of fluffy. I burned my mouth but it was totally worth it. The eggs, jamon, and crust was just bursting with flavor that doesn't overpower you. The quiche is very popular - almost every table orders it. It's delicious- thick but soft and very fluffy. The crepes are delicious and authentic. tl;dr: Overall, this place is casual, chill, and the food is delicious. We had a great experience here on Easter morning. Food is amazing. We got escargot, a salmon Benedict croissant, and a chicken crepe with mushroom. Escargot is tender, with the garlic butter it goes really well with the baguette. I've had escargot dishes across many fine dining establishments, and the dish here is also top notch. Salmon croissant has a great balance and is simply satisfying to eat. I ordered the Crepe Supreme. Generally, I'm not a big cheese lover but the cheese on this crepe is cooked very nicely and I enjoy it. The portion is pretty big too. I could've just stopped at the first piece, but couldn't help but finishing the whole thing because it is so good. I only have nice things to say about the service here because everyone is warm and friendly. Pacing is great and my coffee gets refilled promptly. It feels chill and relaxing, and no one bothers us with weird timing check-ins when we have food in our mouth. Our total comes out to $70 for 2 people. My husband and I had breakfast here on 9/3/26 and everything was excellent! It was hard to decide what to order because everything sounded good, but we ended up ordering the croque madame, the salmon quiche, and the strawberry chantilly crepe and loved every bite. We also appreciated that the orange juice was fresh squeezed! Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful and it was an overall lovely experience and we can't wait to go back! My only problem is that because everything we got was so delicious, I will be tempted to order the same things again the next time but I will also want to try new things, we we'll likely just order more things and then have too much food lol. While we were at Coachella, we were looking for a place to get brunch around Palm Spring to fuel us for the long day ahead. One of the places that was recommended online near our hotel was L'Atelier Cafe, and as a fan of French cuisine I was interested in checking it out. The inside is on the smaller side with just a few tables, but thankfully we didn't have to wait too long before we got seated. For my dish I decided to get the Plateau de Fromage, which comes with cheeses like Brie, Gruyere, and Fourme d'Ambert alongside some fig preserve and baguette bread. I also decided to add some pate, prosciutto, and Jambon Paris for some meat in the platter. This was a great meal for me, since I'm a big fan of charcuterie boards and this dish offers a lot of variety in the ingredients to try. The food was also very fresh with pretty good portions so I think that it was worth the price. Overall, if you're a fan of French cuisine then this is a good place to check out! read more

It's somewhat sad and comical this food quality gets 4.6-star rating. Perhaps this serves the notion of how far the food scenes in Palm Springs had fallen. I had a "French toast" and it was safe to say the only thing "French" was the name. Two thin slices of supe market sandwich bread, barely any egg visible, drenched in cheap waterly sugar solution not even qualified as "maple syrup"... how sad. Service was good enough to not stand out as "bad" but nothing to complain about. Yesh Palm Springs isn't what my memory from 20 years ago anymore. Shrug. Neither is the world.
