Stopped by TOASTD and honestly, it was so good. The smash burger was super flavorful and you can definitely tell the patties are fresh, not frozen -it just tastes different in the best way. The fries were perfectly crispy too, which I always appreciate. What really made it even better was our server. Just a stone's throw from Farm and around the corner from the bars on Arenas, Toast'd has early and late hours with corresponding menus. There's not a lot of seating, but the space is open and welcoming with a mid-century-patterned-wallpaper-with-a-contemporary-color-scheme kind of vibe. Everyone's welcoming, but Serge, who's likely to greet you, is also as tasty as any biscuit on their menu. Helllloooo, handsome Daddy! For food, the swirly cinnamon French toast scores points for both delivering on the cinnamon but also using freshly made bread. The house made strawberry jam on the side is tasty smeared across the top, and the accompanying fresh fruit was a perfect blend of berries and banana. On the savory side, the "basic" ... their words, and I await the "fancy" version... BLT delivered all the right notes: Nicely toasted, and they nailed our request for crispy bacon. So I work very close to this place and decided to check it out for lunch today. I expected it to be good -- and it absolutely was! It's a cute setup, the staff was excellent, and the food was very good. I had Pepe's Spicy Avocado, and it was delicious (though I wouldn't have minded if it were a bit spicier). Two perfectly cooked eggs on top of a flavorful avocado spread over their delicious bread made for a delightful meal. My only small critique would be the size of the toast -- with all that goodness, I wish the slice were a bit larger to hold everything. But no star deduction from me, because I enjoyed every bite. We stayed at the Desert Riviera Hotel, cozy place and we were hungry. Took an uber to town and wanted American food, and found late bites at Toast'd. Service was amazing! It was a beautiful morning to sit outside and enjoy a view of the mountains as we enjoyed our excellent Latte and Espresso. For breakfast, we ordered one avocado toast and one Pepe Spicy avocado toast. Both were delicious. The spicy is not too spicy. They have spirited beverages, if you're in need of some fortification. Toast'd is a breakfast, lunch and late-night eatery within an easy walking distance from downtown Palm Springs and Arenas clubs. Easy to miss if you are not looking carefully, this hidden gem checks all the boxes for a couple or friends' brunch on the sidewalk, or greasy cravings after a long night of partying. Jose, the owner, was kind, friendly and welcoming. His staff, courteous, respectful and attentive. We came into Toast'd for a late breakfast or brunch and sat outside in the cool shade next to the sidewalk. Looking through the menu, we decided to try a few specialties: chicken with red chilaquiles, date pancakes and biscuits with sausage gravy and three fruit jams (date, strawberry and cherry). The chilaquiles had a good smokey flavor but would've been better if there was more sauce. Fortunately, the wait staff was quick to rectify that minor faux pax, so I was a happy camper. The date pancakes were also good and had lots of chopped dates inside and on top of the pancakes. I think if the date jam and/or a date-based syrup were offered with the date pancakes, that would've been even more special. Oh, and add a dollop of whip cream. Good thing the biscuit came with the date jam. We ordered a side of sausage gravy because we wanted both the jam and the gravy. Overall, we had a good experience and would come here again when in Palm Springs. read more

Pancakes may be basic, but when I stop at a restaurant that offers them, if they aren't good, then chances are the rest of the menu isn't either. These were delicious! The price was comparable to other places I've had breakfast in Palm Springs. This is locally owned. I think everyone should go here and support local business, especially residents of Palm Springs. LGBT friendly and there's parking outback and I parked right in front on the street. There's a little patio out front where I sat . José', one of the owners, checked on my meal a few times while I was eating to see how I was doing. When dining alone, I find some places won't even check on me, I'm assuming because they won't make a lot of money on a single diner. They were very at tentative here and I will definitely stop by again especially as a local. It's good to find local places to support. read more

Eaten here 5 times so far and each time I have a new favorite. Excellent food! The Tomato Soup and grilled cheese is so yummy. (Always have to order their onion rings. So tasty) The carne asada tacos have big tender chunks of steak - best I have had in town. And, my new favorite as of yesterday is the Chilaquiles with carne asada. Had high expectations for this new eatery, but was sadly disappointed on a recent breakfast visit. On a positive note the staff was very friendly, nice decor, great location, and even dog friendly. Partner had basic avocado toast... pricey at $18! (he reported it was good) I had the basic breakfast with two eggs, two bacon, potatoes and toast for $18.00. The undrinkable orange juice which was past its expiration date was another $5.00. I ordered the eggs cooked crispy and scrambled, they came out runny. Bacon was almost unedible... fatty, greasy, and very salty... not to mention, undercooked.The toast amounted to one piece of bread... not even warm, let alone toasted or buttered. The potatoes were big chunks, extra salty, not crispy at all. When I order I stress I want things cooked EXTRA well done... when they don't follow my instructions I just don't go back. (I don't send food back, cause I know what happens to. It)By the time the two of us walked out the bill was $55.00 Tomorrow I'll get a better breakfast at McDonald's read more
