We came here for a quick snack and I guess they serve their brunch menu for a long time during the days. We ordered some flat breads, salad and some sandwiches. Not going to lie, the items are little over priced but we are all on vacation and it's probably feeling ok to spend the money. The server was nice and attentive and food is pretty decent.

Excellent spot for breakfast with indoor and outdoor dining. I had the Croque Madame, which was HUGE and delicious. TIP: Most entrees can easily be shared, and the Marilyn Monroe statue is just a block away.

It was relatively hot sitting inside since their door was open to the patio and insects kept flying around which was annoying. The food wasn't bad, the JT breakfast for $22 was good with two eggs, protein, carb and potatoes. The French toast were fluffy and the berries were decent. The skirt steak wasn't too cooked well and had delicious fries.

First time here and the place is very Ute and has great seating outside were you can just sit and people watch. They had a good menu for breakfast/brunch. I had the grapefruit juice which was cold pressed and was suprised it came in a bottle. It wasn't even opened for me when served which was a bit off. The breakfast I had with the eggs and bacon was good but the French toast was too sweet for me. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. I would probably have tried it on the side to get a better taste of the toast. Maybe next time. This places is centered in downtown Palm Springs in the Rowan and is very convenient. Worth the try.

    * Price: $20 plus per person for breakfast/ brunch. 4 stars. * Ambiance: nice, cozy restaurant with indoor/out door dining. 4 stars. * Location: inside of the Kimpton Rowan hotel but you can enter through the outdoor patio dining area. Street parking near-by. Street view, mountain view, view of the Voss Andreas stainless steal sculpture. 5 stars. * Meals: good brunch menu with decent portion. Everything is well cooked. 4 stars. * Service: pleasant. However, they seemed to be shorthanded. There was only one or two servers working (on the new year weekend). Food comes at good pace though. 4 stars. This place has been on my bookmarked list for awhile. We decided to check out for brunch. The waitress also hostess seated us and number tag for our table. Order is taken at the table (no longer pre-order at the counter as mentioned by other reviews). Meals: - breakfast tostada ($21): 2 sunnyside-up eggs, chorizo, avocado and tomato sauce, slided fresh avocado and pico de gallo (salsa) added fresh flavor of cilantro and lime juice. The 2 large tortillas are crispy but not hard. Very good dish. - french toasts with blackberry ($20): brioche bread is very fluffy and airy with dusted sugar and blackberry sauce and fresh blackberry, not too sweet. The french toast here is better than FARM'S one. Final verdict: nice place for breakfast/ brunch. Simple modern American menu. Good place for people watch.

Place is under renovation in late January when I visited but can be found in the downstairs bar lobby. This has always been my go-to spot when I'm in town. The service was iffy this time around because the server was new so I had to give him a hall pass. But the food overshadowed him anyways. Can't go wrong with the breakfast tostada - I love crunchy things. I would rethink the BLTAA because there's so much sandwich that it's difficult to bite into. Other than that I hope the renovation turns out cool. I would still come back to this place.

Cute patio with lots of room. Tucked back behind the Starbucks so don't pass it by

We have walked past this place for years; why we never stopped to try it until now I have no idea. The place is so clean and the patio is cozy with comfy tables and chairs and lots of shade. Our server was very kind and attentive to any questions we had regarding the menu. Food was fresh and different enough to make it interesting. Gluten free bread made me so happy! My husband got an Americano on our way out and said it was really good. We will definitely eat here next time we come out this way.

BlackBerry French toast is pretty good, my fiancé got the avocado toast and it was okay. Service was good and great ambiance! I would recommend the French toast.

Cutest signage and I LOVE to see people interact with it right outside their patio!

A little delay but thank you Destiny, and Brian for my coffee! Welcome to the team! Amazing staff! My favorite place for coffee in Palm Springs! Just love Junec. He's ON IT.

This is what discrimination looks like.

Serves free discrimination with their food! We are hotel guests and receive 50$ for eating breakfast at this restaurant. We are a party of 2 and were lining up for breakast. It was really busy and I dont mind the wait. When it was our turn, given we waited about 15 minutes already, we got turned away and was told to come back as they added us in a "list." I was like, okay, this happens in busy restaurants. Bald manager told us to come back 20-25 minutes. I told them we are hotel guests and he said to come back 10-15minutes (notice how he changed his initial estimate time.) Not 20 seconds later when we walked away and still within sight, the same manager sat a party of two who was behind us! There was a visible open table not 3 feet away from the podium. It was free and clean and impossible to miss. The manager sat the two people behind us in this spot by the door in view of other people. Perhaps he doesnt want the brown and yellow ones to sit by the door? I guess our skin color and age dont match the athleisure geriatric vibe of the restaurant or he thinks we are young and can be turned away while he seats his priority; the "typical guests" behind us. This is discrimination. What makes the party of 2 behind us better than us who waited in line first? When we came back 15 minutes later, everyone behind us got seated, we were the only ones who was turned away and my name was the only one on the so called list that only applies to those who have a certain skin tone/age range. We still had to wait because no other server knows there was a "list" so they were seating people ahead of us and that this manager magically came up with this list to shoo "certain" people away. When we were seated and it was super busy, the manager sent the servers to check on us almost 7 times, more than any other table. The manager knew he messed up. I never liked confrontation and never said anything. We ordered and paid, but the situation hurt me and did not sit right with me even after hours of thinking of the what ifs and giving the situation a benefit of a doubt. Maybe it was the way we dressed? We were wearing jeans and a shirt. There were people in a tank top and shorts eating inside. What happened was awful and needs to be addressed. I complained to the hotel and got a, "we will comp the meal, try them again tomorrow since you are hotel guests." I said no thanks. I dont want upset food servers serving my food. While the hotel did something, this situation should not have happened in the first place.

Juniper Table Breakfast fruit subbed for eggs

Great little cafe inside the Kimpton Rowan hotel. They have hot and grab and go options. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Seating both inside or on their gorgeous patio. Breakfast and lunch options. Even vegan sausage as a plant base sub. Ate here two days in a row and ordered the Juniper Table breakfast subbing fruit for the eggs. They have plenty of coffee and teas. No organic teas though. Only wishing they had more plant based food. Nice option if you're in the neighborhood.

The Juniper is just off the lobby of the Kimpton Rowan and also accessible by its own doors just off Tahquitz, behind Starbucks. My buddy and I stopped in to have lunch while attending a fundraiser for Animal Samaritan's in the lobby of the Kimpton. We both had the Italian sandwich which on the menu seems to be the prosciutto sandwich. The sandwich was certainly tasted fresh and the hot fries was an added bonus! At one point I finally had to request the plate be removed because I was totally full and only eating the fries because they were in front of me. The whole lunch - so damn good. The restaurant is clean. It was clear some patrons were staying at the hotel, coming in to purchase cold drinks from the cold box and snacks to take back to their room. I noticed the staff was quick to clear and sanitize tables for the next guests. After ordering at the counter you have your choice of indoor dining or taking a seat outsides that offers plenty of people watching at the corner of Tahquitz and Palm Canyon. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They even brought our dogs water bowls. This would be a great spot to stop to get food before heading to the concerts in the park or just in the mood to people watch. I'll definitely be back!

We walked into this cafe to pick up food for our trip. It's a small cafe with limited seating and a limited menu. We ordered the march pizza and the trofie pasta. The food was average but I really would commend the ambience and the service. The waitress was very friendly and went out of her way to help us with our specific needs even though we went in close to closing time. I am not sure if we woken host again but the service was great!

Think French countryside, with the decor to match, and a tree on the inside of the restaurant! Down to the choice of napkins, the decor is intentional. It feels like a lived in house with a courtyard and all of the feelings that make it "home." It's familiar and inviting and that's just the beginning. We've been to Palm Springs many times and I've had this place bookmarked for too long and never had an opportunity to try it. When my Team and I came into town for a conference, we decided that since it's a weekday, it would be the best time to try this place out. It breathtakingly did not disappoint. I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California! Our server was busy with many tables and at one point we did have to ask for a refill on water. It also took a really long time to get our check after we had asked for it. Outside of the service this is a must stop!

On our journey to Palm Springs my team left the food choices to me since I'm picky. Lol. We showed up on a Wednesday night (note that they do not open Monday and Tuesday), around 4:40 PM. There was already a long line of individuals waiting to get in. There were about 15 people ahead of us. At opening, we were immediately sat down into the second dining room to the right of the restaurant. It gives a different vibe than the main room with its red bench seating and lantern ceiling. Although the benches were high, and the tables were a little low, we managed. Of course, we tried the complementary congee. Which I love, but my colleagues were not a big fan of. We ordered the calamari and the crispy beef noodle. We also ordered the shrimp and mango spring roll, the softshell crab and green papaya salad, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. The shining stars, for my colleagues were the calamari and crispy beef noodle. Followed by the shrimp and mango spring rolls and the softshell crab. The three of us did not enjoy the pork belly at all even though it came recommended. We actually only ate 2 pieces. The food overall was good although we wish we didn't get the pork or at least stuck to our goal of four main dishes. The waitress recommended we get one more and that's when we added the pork. Next time we will go with our gut instinct. One thing that was disappointing on this visit was that when we ordered drinks, one of them came out in a can. We were under the assumption it was a draft pour. For $14 it should have been noted that it is canned. The way that it is written into the menu no one would assume otherwise.

The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.

To us it was nothing that made you say "I need to come back for this" The burrata could use some balsamic or even some salt to give it a little kick up a notch. The focaccia it came with was very good I will say. We still would come back and try some more options and get drinks. HH had some drinks special, a couple dollars off drinks and some dollars off shareable plates. We just had one of the beer on tap which was on happy hour for 6.00. Also one of the flatbread pizza which came up to 12.00 on happy hour. A recommendation from the waitress which was great. It didn't take long for drinks to arrive and then the food right after. Flatbread was quite nice and cheesy. A good combination for a meal. We were having dinner later so something lite to share was great. During the time we were there, the live entertainment was setting up with live music. A nice treat to have while dining. The location is excellent. Right in the heart of town and on the main strip where people watching is amazing. There's a full bar right in the middle so that was nice. The hi top seating along the front is perfect for people watching. The whole patio seating is great for people watching. Overall, we enjoyed our quick little bite with a cold beer and flatbread. Service was great as everyone was very sweet and friendly. Love the live music added to the dining experience. Our waitress was amazing and the sweetest.

While we're shopping downtown a bit we came across a Tommy Bahamas Grill that we visited in Ft Lauderdale FLA. We had such a great experience there, we decided to try it in PS. We sat outside and Scott the server greeted us and he was great. The service was great from start to finish. It was happy hour time a we do love our happy hours. We ordered a couple of drinks and some of the shareables. We had the Ahi Tuna tacos, which were very tasty. There were four of them with a wonton shell. Very creative. Also had the margarita flatbread in which the cheese was different but delicious. We had the chips with a side of guacamole and salsa. All very good The outside atmosphere on the main strand was pretty cool. I am sure we will be back when we come back.

I took a seat at the bar inside, but they also have covered patio seating. The staff were extremely friendly and engaging. I decided to have "girl dinner". This consisted of an order of their guacamole and chips. and the heirloom beet salad. The guacamole was so fresh and flavorful with the perfect level of salt and spice. The chips were thick and crunchy, just the way I like them when I'm eating a dip. As for the heirloom salad, it had the most delicious beets and a goat cheese purée. The fresh fruit was a nice balance to the savory and salty from the beets and the cheese. To wrap up my tasty meal I decided to try the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They come three to an order and are made fresh to order. The chocolate chip cookies were thick and gooey, and probably some of the best I have ever had. So do yourself a favor, even if you are not staying at the Holiday House for lodging, make sure you come check out their on site restaurant. (I've heard amazing things about their weekend brunch, but did not have the chance to try it this time around.)

A truly charming little restaurant in one of those charming iconic Palm Springs hotels. This was…read moreour second time eating here and I'm sure it won't be our last. We went for brunch this time, and the menu is pretty extensive with some unusual signature dishes. We went because I said I was craving a waffle, my husband found 'chicken and waffles" on their menu and said, "why not, we will get some protein with our waffle." So we started with a Bloody Mary, which they graciously split between the two of us. The garnish was unusual, including a delicious pickled okra (I don't know what a single okra pod is called), which I found really delicious. Enough so that when my husband proclaimed 'weird," I ate his too. I have a weakness for okra. As promised, we ordered the chicken and waffles and their chia pudding, which we ask them to serve first. Not only was it visually attractive, it was fresh, refreshing and delicious! So, the chicken was excellent and a generous portion, the waffle was light and also delicious. BUT, it comes with a special syrup infused with gochujang, and likely to be quite spicy. We asked them to please leave it off and serve maple syrup on the side. When it arrived the waffle was kind of drowned in the special syrup, which was, indeed, pretty spicy. It's unusual, and actually delicious, but my hubby can't tolerate hot spicy food, so it was unacceptable. We told our server who promised a replacement waffle. It proved delicious, but when we got our check, they added $7.00 for the extra waffle! We had to complain to get them to remove the charge. So, that was an inconvenience; would we come back? For sure, yes, overall it's worth it.

Holiday House - Super cute atmosphere. It was 100 degrees and a bit hot, but they do have a super strong fan blowing. Would be GREAT if a bit cooler.
