Sorry but this place is flat out misleading and bad. Came here for breakfast and the food that we got looked nothing like the photos on Yelp. These were the business owner photos by the way so they should have reflected accordingly. I mean even the customer ones should be accurate too. Paid $15 for this sad excuse of a smoked salmon and everything bagel sandwich that looked like it came from an airport, looked nothing like the photos. We stopped by on our way out of town and tried the turkey club sandwich and the ancient grain salad. Both were absolutely delicious! The cool salad was perfect for the hot summer's day. Pro tip: order their homemade potato chips! They were SO good! We also subbed the bread on the sandwich for ciabatta bread which was great-tasting as well! Had breakfast here while recently in Palm Springs and the service was great and perfect outdoor seating with tables spaced out and using every other table to keep the distance between customers. Staff wearing face covers. Menu's are digital, just scan the QR Code on your phone. I had the Farmers Omelet plate and it was light but very filling and tasted great. Orange Juice tasted fresh squeezed. My wife had the Avacodo Flatbread and loved it, we had to special order it, as it is no longer on the menu but she had seen a picture of it on Yelp. Our server had no problem getting her this plate and was very joyful about it. My wife enjoyed the fresh fruit that came with her breakfast. It was good but I wish there was more of it to eat. JT Breakfast: This plate deserves its own star. I had a nice sit down dinner here right after restaurants and places re-opened from covid restrictions. The seating was every other table. You ordered at the counter and they brought the food out. I found the service friendly and mostly attentive regarding menu questions. We chose outdoor seating. However note that the restaurant is located within the ground level of the Rowan (Kimpton) Hotel. This is a lovely and modern property with all the amenities anyone could want. It's also right next to the main strip in PS and the remodeled huge Starbucks... Meal was good, if not a tad bit pricey for two burgers and no drinks...but no complaints. I was grateful to be away from home, having a sit down meal with my friend and enjoying life once again. I have been eating out at fine restaurants at lease twice a week for over 40 years. I can honestly say I have never had a worse dining experience. It is a shame that a fine institution like Kimpton has hired such an incompetent and rude manager who knows nothing about customer service. We had reservations at 7pm on Christmas Day and arrived promptly. After about 15 minutes of waiting we were seated. Our order was taken about 30 minutes later. After an hour of waiting, we were informed that they were out of chicken and some of us had to substitute it for another protein. After another 30 minutes(at this point we had been there for 2 hours, we were informed that they ran out of pizza dough and our appetizer pizzas would have to be cancelled. Over the next hour , some of the orders for our party of 9 started coming in only to find out that half of them were wrong. After three hours, we still had two missing meals. The waitress felt so bad that she actually went into the kitchen and grabbed a burger and brought it to my son who had been waiting for 3 hours. She said they were prioritizing the room service orders but she saw how wrong this unexplained and unapologetic delay in our being ignored was that she gave us one of those burgers. The first order showed up an hour and a half after ordering and the last order came three hours after ordering. just imagine how far apart all 9 of us ate our Christmas dinner! At this point we were just patiently waiting for all the food to come but our mood with the family was ruined! We had to wait 3 hours for our orders which were mostly wrong. We were charged for 3 fries when we only had two and we were charge for a Summer Salad which we never ordered which in fact was not even on the menu. When we sat down or anytime after no one let us know that we would be waiting over three hours for our meals and all 9 of us would be eating separately, although they knew about it. I asked the front desk to call a manager since it had been three hours since we sat down and we still did not have all of our Meals. When Abel Xiguelina arrived and as I was explaining to him how disappointing the entire experience was and they were overcharging us for items and charging for items which were not even on the menu and we did not order, and that they should reverse the charges and just leave an appropriate tip, he walked away and refused to refund the overcharges or do anything about it. I told him if he did not fix, it I would take this matter further. He refused to do anything about this terrible experience, he did not offer any explanation for the three hour delay and the mistakes nor any apology. He was rude and defiant and walked away. Needless to say we walked away very very frustrated and some of us still hungry since they did not even bring the meals they charged for. It was a huge embarrassment to my family and guests and ruined our entire Christmas Day dinner. I also found it strange that right after ordering, the waitress brought the bill and had me sign the bill before we had any food at all. It really didn't make sense. I would highly recommend Kimpton and Rowan to be more selective when they hire managers and make sure they inform their restaurant patrons that they prioritize their room service orders and if there will be and excessive wait or that they are running low on food. read more

Tender and juicy meat complemented by fascinating thick-cut potato wedge fries were the perfect meal for a weekday afternoon! I'm still baffled by how they cut the potatoes, but they were curvy wedges that were thinner than traditional wedges but thicker than fries. This is a quick-service restaurant where you order and then sit, but the service was warm and attentive. We really liked the place. We got an avocado toast (it had sprouts and jalapeños on it). We got a chilaquiles. We were warned it was very spicy. I love spicy so we ordered it. It was too spicy for my boyfriend d (who also loves spicy) and at one point even spicy for me... how Americans eat this I have no freaking idea. This is not my idea of breakfast food. Another reason why I gave it lower stars was because my boyfriend ordered a draft beer... without looking at the receipt we paid... his beer was $10. We weren't presented with a menu so we didn't know how much the beer cost. Had we known his beer was $10... we would have not ordered it. FYI, his draft beer cost the same as a cocktail. I had to ask 3 times for water. The water comes in tiny tiny glasses. Our breakfast was super spicy, so we drank our waters very quickly and only once did we get a refill without asking. But the ambiance is very cute, very nice, just don't get the chilaquiles unless you love spicy food (our avocado toast was a tiny bit spicy with the jalapeños on it.... we had a very spicy breakfast). Incredibly delicious EVERYTHING and they have GF options, vegan and vegetarian as well. Just be sure if ordering a salad to ask to not include the crotons if you are GF. I come for their burgers and salads. It's the best burger in all of the low desert in my opinion. I love that they have GF bread which many restaurants do not offer when it comes to burgers. My partner loves their apple grilled Brie cheese sandwich while I always get the same burger and switch it up with the salads. Staff are sweet and friendly, all wear mask and the ambiance is great! Open large doors into the main dinning area with ample outdoor dinning and when it's chilly they have heaters outside. Juniper Table is a casual restaurant in downtown Palm Springs, located just off the lobby of The Rowan, a Kimpton hotel. My wife and I went there for a quick bite before heading off to dancing. It was our first time there and we were busked over by the food and service. Our waiter, Alicia, was friendly, cheerful and very responsive. She checked multiple times to make sure we were doing fine. We ordered small plates to share. All were delicious! Each dish had a creative twist. For example, the pan-roasted cauliflower was tossed with capers, golden raisins and pumpkin seeds, giving the dish a wonderful sweet-savory tension with every bite. Similarly, the roasted shishito peppers were charred just right and came with just a smear of crema whipped together with activated charcoal. The crema went perfectly with the sharpness if the peppers. Eric, the chef, came out and talked to us so we were able to compliment his presentation in person. The pizza was honestly one of the best I've ever had--the crust was perfectly charred and ever so slightly chewy, and the olives on top were so fresh. We were visiting Palm Springs for a few days and found this place and decided to try it. The French Toast is to DIE for!! I can say that this is the best French toast I have ever eaten!
