    Matcha latte
    Kathy X.

They were doing a BOGO deal on DoorDash, and I ordered a BOGO matcha, and BOGO taiyakis. The matcha has decent flavor but it's not mixed in well. There were chunks of matcha in my drinks. The Ube and mochi banana taiyaki were good and piping hot, but to be honest you can't really tell which one is Ube or which one is banana and mochi.

Nice local tea shop that provides comfort in the aggressive heat. The Pinch Me Peachy and Kiwi Blast both had green tea with 25% sweetness. I enjoyed the basil seeds and aloe vera in the Kiwi Blast. The service was friendly and efficient.

I went in almost right when they had open so they were getting everything situated but once they saw I was inside they were super welcoming and asked me if I had any questions. It was my first time going but the menu was pretty easy to understand. I ended up getting the strawberry green tea and it was so good and refreshing!

Tiger milk and taro milk both with boba.

Cute little spot to get a yummy cold drink. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and efficient. She had our drinks ready at no time. Great little spot.

    Nutella with banana

Grapefruit paradise: it was average at best . It used to be very good but nowadays they just mix tea with syrup . It taste very average for the price Food : it was way overpriced. The taro bao is $4 each, basically frozen bao from 99 ranch but they reheat it for you . I don't think they even bother to put it in the steamer . Is very dry since they just use the microwave. The other dessert was ok. Everything is frozen here, I don't think they even bother to mix the the batter with water.

Happy Tea Cafe is serving up some refreshing teas/bobas and fun desserts. I was super excited to see fresh Taiyakis being served in this area as there isn't still a huge variety of Asian cuisines in these parts. Happy Tea is located in a busy shopping center off 111 highway. I will say parking can be a little hard to grab and tight but if you are willing to park a little down outside of this section of the shopping center, there was plenty of parking just not right in front. This is a good location though as they get a lot of food traffic. The staff here are very nice and friendly. They definitely get busy but we're super friendly and helpful despite getting slammed with orders. Nice people work here and despite how busy they were they were truly doing their best to crank out orders. I also appreciate that they use a number system for calling out your orders! Super effective and kept it from being awkward with random people trying to grab your stuff that are waiting. I love that they keep it simple and stick to calling out order numbers, please don't change this! The drinks and food were definitely 5 stars! My butterfly tea lemonade was super refreshing and visually pretty. You can add one free "add in" but I opted for none this time. Wanted a simple drink. The drink selection here is fire! They have a great assortment and I was happy with my drink and would get it again. They also have a small variety of hot appetizers here like Baos, egg rolls, and tempura. I didn't try this as I was eagerly eyeing their Taiyaki. Wow they also had a good assortment of flavors and to get three for $12 is truly a steal. Thankfully I was mindful that I really shouldn't have more than one and opted for the churro flavor. They are so good though it's tempting to not order a bunch because this was one of the best taiyakis I've had in a while. The sugar coating definitely made it taste like a churro and the inside was buttery and fresh. One of my favorite desserts and this spot does it right. I'll 100% be back and bringing some friends. Only upgrade id give is the restaurant is a little stark and with some cute painting of the walls or even a little bit of artwork / decals this spot could come a long way. While the girls were inviting the atmosphere was a little "meh". Normally I'd dock a star but I really really loved the food, drinks, and service that I think they are still deserving of 5. However, it definitely needs a little extra love and fun vibes inside to make this spot memorable and more inviting from the outside. I know it can be costly but hopefully would be a good investment as you'd get a younger crowd coming in, taking pictures, and being free advertising so I'd like to think it would be a good investment. That's my only upgrade for a spot that's already pretty awesome. Cant wait to come back and try more drinks and snacks soon.

Saw an ad on insta, the corn dog looked good. I was very excited as I've had Korean corn dogs in the past and really enjoyed them. Come to find out this was a disappointing Korean corn dog. The taiyaki fish I ordered was a 4/10, I expected a waffle taiyaki from the image on their display and received a croissant looking taiyaki, the Nutella and banana part was good, but the croissant was throwing it off, and very dry. I had also gotten a drink and asked for lite ice and did not receive what I requested. My overall experience was quite disappointing due to the images being advertised and receiving something completely different. The drink was one of the best I've ever had, I really did enjoy it, but I wouldn't order any of their food again.

    labubu giveaway!!

I love this location!! They have yummy Taiyaki and they are super sweet! They currently have an ongoing labubu giveaway which I thought was the cutest!! Really great service!

    Dragonfruit Passionfruit lemonade

Boba is delicious, servers are friendly! The atmosphere is nice! I personally recommend the butterfly lychee lemonade as it has a really good flavor. The place is very clean. If I could rate it higher I would

Always nice service! my go to spot for a local Signature Milk Tea with Boba. nice deco, large menu, and drinks come out fast.

Taro milk tea with boba was good but egg rolls were old and cold inside. They should've fried it fresh or don't sell it. It was bad.

First off that BQL (banana Que Latte) was spot on *AMAZING*. The langka (jackfruit) and banana were all in there. Like you totally can taste it. It was balanced so well. Tho, I think it should be turon Latte (spring roll wrapped banana with jackfruit inside) not Banana que. But totally love this drink!! this alone make me want to go back again. its a small boutique but clean, and nice wall photos too.the moment we walked in the coffee aroma welcomed us. I love it!! Other than the BQL we ordered BSL (brown sugar) they do have milk alternative such as pistachio, oat, almond, etc. We didn't get to see other options for pastries since most were all gone by the time we got there. Overall, I would def recommend this place for anyone visiting PSP, Cath City, Palm Dessert, Indio or Coachella. Five starts would totally recommend and will becoming back in the near future. Thank you for bringing such good drinks to the Valley!

That's really what keeps me coming back. The only issue I've run into (twice now) is with takeout, and it's been a little frustrating. The first time I ordered takeout, I waited inside for about 20 minutes. I started noticing people who ordered after me (and were dining in) getting their food before me. When I finally went up to check, my order had just been sitting there the whole time -- no one ever called my name. Gave it another shot today, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. This time I was told to wait outside for takeout and that someone would call me. I got my coffee within the first five minutes, but then waited another 15-20 minutes while, again, people who ordered after me were getting their food. I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. I'll be back this summer to give takeout another shot and see if things have improved.

We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level. The place filled up steadily until we left about an hour and a half later. We have a patio outside, which is receiving a new sunshade and lights.
