SHORT ANSWER: Yes, if you're into this sweetness of a drink. I have only been to two of these tea, boba shops and they are similar. Most reviews are 5 stars... ! Weird Hours 11am opening. My Starbucks opens at 4am. LOCATION: Great location, large retail center just off the 111 in La Quinta. FACILITY: Very nice, open, clean, and bright inside, seems like a lot of fun the moment you walk in. MENU: This is not totally my thing, so don't know how to explain it but everything looks so sweet and sugary. FOOD PREP: Excellent, looks like artworks in a cub. FOOD QUALITY: Excellent, but waaaaay too sweet for me. I found out later you can ask for 50% or 25% sweetness... the looks of the drinks themselves are very artful. WAITSTAFF: The girl working was fantastic, so nice and offered some advice for our 4 drink order. OVERALL VALUE: Wow a bit expensive but for the size and the work put into each drink I guess it may be kind of a meal for some people. We spent like $40 for 4 drinks some with boba, I could only enjoy half of mine too large and too sweet. TIP: If you're into this and million are around the world, enjoy. If you're not accustomed to this drink, ask for 25% sweetness and stick to coffee with the coffee boba and you'll be fine. read more

I have high standards for Milktea boba so I feel like one of those insane, difficult to satisfy food critics in regards to it, but I just gotta be authentic to me. This place is fine. You may enjoy it, so if you're curious, please give them a try. For me, personally, it was just average, nothing I was excited about. The service was also neutral--nothing too friendly, and nothing overly rude--which also makes it not memorable. But yes, I'd take it over rude customer service any day, so no specific complaints here. They have a small indoor space to enjoy your drinks and a cute photo-op on the wall. read more

I passed The Bunny when driving to my hotel and wanted to try it out of curiosity since I wasn't expecting to get boba in La Quinta. There was a very short line of a couple people when my brother and I walked in. We were wondering what some of the drinks consisted of since the names weren't very clear. The guy working did not know much about the drinks and his explanations only confused us more. We ended up going with the Signature Milk Tea with Boba, Icy Flan Smoothie with Boba and the Pink Dragon Fruit Tea. It was very hard to understand what he was saying while we were ordering, so my drink ended up missing the boba. However, it doesn't seem like I missed out. I tried the other drinks and found the boba to be way too chewy and lacking flavor. The Signature Milk Tea was pretty decent. The Icy Flan Smoothie was good and very unique. I enjoyed the Pink Dragon Fruit Tea, but wish that there were more chunks of dragon fruit in it. It was pretty expensive for what you get. I'm unlikely to return, but if I do, I'll definitely skip the boba. read more

Decided to try this place since it was the only boba place open on Christmas! We got the Strawberry Matcha Fresh Milk with Crystal boba (they were out of regular boba) and 75% sweetness since the bobarista said it was pretty sweet. There were also non dairy alternatives (almond and oat), but we just went with the regular milk, which I'm assuming why the drink is a little thick. We also got the golden milk tea, which the bobarista said was with a oolong tea base. This one was a little strange, I'm not sure if it's because we asked for half sweet, but it just tasted like tea with too much milk. I'm guessing they recently adjusted the menu to a smaller selection since they don't have as many drinks as they used to (if you look at the old menu on Yelp). However the store was cool and features the Bunny from secret life of pets which is cute! read more

We happened to be in the area visiting family and were looking to get our boba fix. Our daughter's love Wintermelon but we were surprised that a lot of boba place we checked did not offer it. We saw that the Bunny did so we went over to check it out. We got Wintermelon for our daughters, Classic milk tea for my wife and Vanilla Milk tea for myself. The boba was great and on par with the shops we normally go to back at home in San Jose but the quantity was lacking. The tea flavor was great and they got the sweetness perfect also as we like 70-75% sweet. The people that worked there were extremely nice. Overall I would say it was an ok experience. read more

Yeah, no. Several things on the menu weren't available. The service was not welcoming. The tables and chairs were all sort of cluttered together. The boba itself wasn't flavorful or well textured and left much to be desired. Also, the plastic lid ripped open when I inserted the straws in all four of our drinks, instead of making a nice straw-sized hole--that matters. I've tried maybe 7 places since moving here from LA, hoping to find a go-to place, and this is at the bottom of the list for sure. read more

Ordered delivery to my hotel, and the drinks were prepared immediately. I'm a boba fiend, and I thought the drinks were spot on. Green milk tea with boba ($5.5) was fantastic! Light ice was truly light and cup was full, tea was prevalent, 70% sweetness seemed consistent with other boba spots, and boba was sweet and nicely chewy. Others in my party enjoyed their lychee dragon fruit green tea and watermelon slush drinks (~$6.5, only large size available for these). I was shocked at the low overall reviews on Yelp, but it looks like they're mostly due to online pickups and the "no ice" option, which the menu specifies will make the cup not full. read more

This is the old Ding Tea...That created a bit of confusion when trying to order online & not knowing of the name change. The sign says same management, new delicious drinks... I really want to give this place less than four stars because of my experience today... It took them over a half an hour to get me three drinks... While I sat there watching the numerous people come in after me & leave with drinks before me... What the heck is that about?! Seemed like they might have been more social in the back where they were making the drinks. Maybe not... What else could it be? Their taro boba is my fave!!! Staff so sweet and nice always ready fast must try if you are nearby and they have vegan options.

First time visiting and I ordered the Hokkaido Black Oolalong tea with boba which was disappointing. There was no tea flavor. The only thing you could taste was the cream and heavy amount of sugar or sweetener used. Lastly, I would recommend providing a different size straw or reusable straws that can be used for boba drinks. The ones provided are to thin for the boba. read more

It doesnt even look like there was any milk in it at all, just looked like a watered down green tea with a lil bit of strawberry puree, not even sweet at all. I have been let down over and over by this boba location. It so frustrating because the drinks are actually pretty tasty but the services always finds a way to fail. One trip consisted of me waiting mid day for over 15 mins for my drink. The two people in front of me got there drinks and two people who came after me got there drinks before I received my one. My next visit my blend drink was sitting for a long period of time and basically melted. Now this visit as you can see the drinks were not filled completely. When you get charged over $5 for a small drink you except for it to at least be right. After many different disappointments I will not be returning to the bunny. read more
