We were so glad to see this location is open late! We had a late night craving for some sweet milk tea and headed over. There was only one person working that we saw and she was visibly cleaning in the back when we came in so it took a bit to get someone out to help us but that is totally understandable. We had time to check out their menu which has lots to offer. My husband got the Hokkaido Milk Tea with custard and I highly recommend that milk tea. The flavor was deep and rich with just enough sweetness. I wanted the Matcha Banana Brulee (because I always check out the menu on the way) but when we arrived they had signs that they were out of banana syrup, so I tried the Lavender Earl Grey instead. The color looked very different from the photos on mine, but my first drink was absolute heaven. The lavender cream was yummy. Unfortunately, after a few sips, I was left with bitter earl grey so we grabbed some sweetener and tossed it in so I could finish my drink. I would love to try that Matcha Banana Brulee Latte next time though. The prices here are more than reasonable. You'll be surprised how much bang you get for your buck. We got a green milk tea with boba and sea salt foam as well as a lavender earl grey milk tea with boba and sea salt foam. The boba was the tiny ones that are so enjoyable to consume. I wouldn't say it's the best boba we've had as the interior was a bit tough and exterior was a bit too soft but overall still a great experience. As for the tea itself, the earl grey was perfectly brewed but the green tea was a bit overly brewed. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the tea. Maybe I'm just spoiled being a boba snob but I didn't feel like the boba was up to par. The flavor choices were top notch however. They have such a variety of amazing flavors and the drinks look incredible and are very instagramable. I ordered: 1. Jasmine Green MT: The drink was a bit too bland and didn't have the deep strong Jasmine flavor that I liked. It tasted almost watered down. The boba also didn't taste fresh and almost tasted like it was overcooked. 2. Lavender Earl Grey: I can taste both the lavender and Earl Grey but I didn't feel the mixture was a good combo. Two strong flavors both fighting to be dominant and it just didn't mix as well as I thought it would. 3. Sea Salt Cream Cold Brew: Of the three drinks, I felt this was the best but it was just alright. I feel like the one at starbucks is better.
