We've been coming to Mangos since March 2019, and it has remained one of our favorite spots ever since. Over the years, I've tried almost everything on the menu, and I've rarely been disappointed. My absolute favorite is the esquite with Hot Cheetos and cheese. What sets it apart for me is that they add the Hot Cheetos crumbs both at the bottom and on top, so you get that perfect flavor and crunch throughout. Their seasoning blend is just right and keeps me coming back every time. Another go-to for me is the Diablito. Despite the name, it's not very spicy (at least not to me). It's more of a refreshing raspado-style drink with small chunks of mango throughout, making it the perfect sweet and tangy treat on a warm day. They offer a great variety of antojitos, and another favorite of mine is their Hot Cheetos with cheese. I don't believe it's listed on the menu, but they've always been willing to make it. One thing I really appreciate is how flexible they are with substitutions and add-ons. They also offer three different types of mangonadas. While they're all delicious, I do wish they offered a more traditional frozen mangonada with chamoy. For frequent visitors like us, they have a rewards program where they punch a card with each purchase, and on your 10th visit, you get a free item of your choice. It's a nice bonus for loyal customers. The only downside is that the inside is fairly small, so seating is limited. There are only a couple of tables outside with a handful of chairs, so finding a spot can be difficult during busy times. We usually take our order to go, so it hasn't been an issue for us. Parking directly in front of the shop is very limited and almost always full, but there's plenty of additional parking available across the street within the same plaza. Overall, Mangos has been one of our favorite spots for years. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are great, and we always find ourselves coming back for more. read more

A unique spot for smoothies, Mexican snacks, fruit bowls, Mexican seafood dishes, and ice cream. Yes, this place is unique. Their fruit smoothies are delicious and refreshing. You can order up your smoothie shake sugar-free. My favorite smoothie is the Healthy One. The smoothie contains strawberries, banana, apple, honey, almonds milk, and vanilla protein. The service is prompt and friendly. Mango's is like a small ice -cream store sized eatery. The place is clean and pleasant. read more

I had a very frustrating experience at this location. Their posted hours clearly state they close at 9:30 PM, yet when I arrived at 8:40 PM, I was told they could not take my order. That is almost a full hour before closing time. If the business does not intend to serve customers up until their advertised hours, then they need to change their hours online and on their signage to reflect that. It's very unprofessional and misleading to turn customers away so early, especially when people make the effort to come in expecting normal service. Closing early without notice shows a lack of respect for customers' time and money. Came across Mangos when we stopped by Walmart to pick up some groceries. Located in a large plaza so plenty of parking spots available. Tons of options to choose from; from smoothies, milkshakes, fresh fruits, ice creams, ceviches, açaí bowls, and more! I went with the 2 scoop ice cream and got mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream. The cookies and cream was good but the mint chocolate chip was just okay (tasted a bit pasty/not smooth). I was so disappointed that I trusted this place to serve us with fresh fruit..and that I didn't open the container before getting home. We come here often and have noticed the decline in the quality. A weekend getaway to Coachella is not complete without something unique, tasty, and cold/sweet. Since I was staying across the street in the Country Club, I was looking for something nearby and stumbled upon this place while going into Starbucks. Best part is that they are actually the place you are thinking of! They have raspados, fruit con chile, and chamango BUT they have something else that caught my eye which is something called a Chemisse. A chemisse is fruit with milk, granola, ice cream, and a vanilla wafer! Ummm 'sssscusssee me, that sounds DELISH! So I ordered one of those and since it was on the weather was on the warmer side it satisfied my craving! I wish I could have rated this place more but working in the food industry makes me have a sharper eye for cleanliness. I live really close so I wanted this to be a usually spot since the fruit is fresh and taste ripe! I get the Chemise and Mangoneda at any Mexican dessert place I go to and I can say the ones made here are delicious! Unfortunately the girls making them didn't seem to clean or did I see ether of them wash their hands going between cashing out customers, scooping ice cream, or basic handling of non food items. No gloves involved either. Pretty gross especially when one of the works was trying to be extra fast so she ripped a box of chips open and threw it in the middle of the floor and proceeded to work. That's sign of not caring to me. The even worse part was when she scooped ice cream without gloves getting it everywhere and finishing the container for it to be side ways on top of the other ice cream in the dip in. Poor poor handling especially in front of the customers. Made me question what they do in the back where I can't see. read more

Im giving it 4 stars because of my last visit. We used to go here at least once a week, everything was delicious! Today, finally we were able to go again after a couple of months and it was a little different. Our raspado de coco and watermelon slushy were good as always but the pepilocos and hot cheetos locos were a different story... the cucumber and hot cheetos you could tell were old, the cucumber had a bad taste and the hot cheetos weren't crunchy. I've been coming to the local mangos here for some time now. The current location here at the Coachella/Indio border is very small. It gets packed with only a few tables available to enjoy your food, so it's probably best to get it to go, and it's definitely too hot during the summer to eat outside. The establishment was warm inside, and somewhat uncomfortable, assuming due to how small the area is. There are quite a few things to choose from off the menu. I happened to enjoy some classic nachos with jalapeños, some shrimp cocktail, and a limeade on this visit. All were very good and tasty. This was our second visit to this location. Everything was terrible. We spent $30 on items only to be disappointed in everything. We ordered 2 raspados de coco. The raspados were weak with chunks of ice in it. It didn't taste like coconut it tasted like powdered milk and sugar, it was undrinkable. The elote in the cup had water in it. The corn has to be drained for us to eat it, and it lacked the cheese and flavor. The Tostilocos were ok but the corn in the stick had a weird taste to it. The mangonada had more spicy stuff than the mangos, it suppose to have sorbet but they put chopped mangos instead, and the drink was undrinkable. It was too spicy, and I'm Mexican. We will not be coming back. We will be making the trip to la michuacana instead. read more

Man this owner doesn't know anything about customer service and isnt lenient at all. Never expected a owner to charger a customer extra for queritos They never asked for. I asked him if he could separate the toppings in cups but couldn't understand/didn't want to do it. Looked at my receipt after paying for my alocada and noticed I got charged extra. I Asked why I was charged extra? The owner said queritos weren't included in the alocada but clearly is shown in the picture. when opening the alocada long behold the dam queritos are there. He asked if I wanted an extra bag of churritos instead of the queritos because there the same price, or get my extra dollar refund. At this point I was already irritated and decided to keep the dam queritos I never asked for but got charged for it. This dude is always a problem. His son hasn't given me issues and the other associates haven't either. All whole staff understands what to do when I ask them to separate the toppings except the owner. I have to hope the owner isn't there to hopefully get what I want. That's just sad! The only complaint I have is that they didn't have any menus to look at so she had to read to me their menu off the register. The computers they had overhead which displayed the menu, keep switching in and out of screens so it made it very frustrating to actually read to see what you even want to order in the first place. The lady at the register said they were broken so she was very nice to read it off, but listening to her read it off over and over again to each customer was annoying for everyone that was there. Once they print out some menus or get the screens to stop switching out, it would easily get my 5 stars. They use fresh fruit and had shrimp and fish ceviche that was so delicious I want to go back for a second round. I would definitely make this a futures stop of mine after my hikes in the La Quinta cove.
