I get a detoxifier with spirulina every morning and today i went in and noticed it was bluer then usual. When i got to work i tried it and there was so much powder in it that it was getting stuck in my throat. I called juice it up and the girl i spoke to was rude and when i told her that it had to much spirulina powder she started to give me a speech about the consistency of the powder can be like that. I was so confused about the low reviews that I decided that maybe I caught them on a good day and maybe next time wouldn't be as great, so I held off reviewing until I could try again. I went in today and saw that on top of having acai and pitaya bowls, they can also turn any classic smoothie into a bowl. I was intrigued, so I got the California Cooler as a bowl, with the toppings it comes with (granola, bananas, and honey I believe). They offer additional toppings for 50 cents more, but I always like to go classic when trying new things. The bowl was soooo gooood! What the heck?? I want another already. On top of the refreshingly scrumptious bowl, the service was prompt and friendly again, and the place was clean and not too busy. Side note; the Lava Flow smoothie is also delicious. The mango mania was delicious and I cannot wait to come back for more drinks. The ever green that we ordered was able to be customized to add beets and they called it the ever beets though it was not on the menu, cute name. They were quick onto making the drinks and the place was clean as well. I see all the fresh fruits lined up and their decor is pretty modern. I like juice it up because they are healthy and they can customize your drink any way you want it. Though their prices are expensive, what can you expect from fresh fruit and someone to make your drinks?
