I have come back many times to this store and need to update my rating. While I love the ladies who work there and the taste of the smoothies, it is pretty wild how unsanitary this place is. The counters are usually gunky to the touch, the bathroom is really unclean with no paper towels, and the glass front door is the most nasty, vile and crudded up door I've ever seen. I am not weird about germs, but the level of gross this door is makes me need to use a napkin to open the door so I don't catch my death. (I push it with my shoulder to leave) I don't know why the owner has pretty much zero pride in maintaining the cleanliness of this store. Customers who patronize a juice bar have an expectation of a healthy experience, and to be honest I pray a little prayer every time I get my PB & J that the ingredients are safe and the blenders are clean. I'll keep going for my PB & J but man, this place is yucky. read more

I was craving a smoothie and found this place on Yelp so I decided to give them a try especially being convenient by the freeway. I got the immune boosting orange smoothie and it tasted pretty good. The ginger and turmeric weren't too strong and the smoothie was refreshing. read more

First visit today. Very pleasant atmosphere with a cooler full of fresh fruits and vegetables. Friendly, knowledgeable and busy counter staff. I had a Turmeric Ginger Pineapple Smoothie? It was excellent. Glad for all the healthily options. I'll definitely be back. Lots and lots of healthy options I want to try on the menu. read more

I called Juicy Juicy 30 min before they closed because my team needed a healthy option. Wasn't the best timing but one gal single handedly made sure my girls were taken care of. She was solo and it was the end of the night. I cannot thank her a Juicy Juicy for working past closing time to make sure my girls had a healthy option after a game. I don't recommend 'being that guy' but appreciative in a pinch she had our back! Also, I've been coming here for years and they have the best fresh pressed and cut smoothies and bowls, hands down!!! After I took Toby for a walk, I was really wiped out due to the sweltering heat!! and needed a boost. I went to get a protein smoothie for me and my nieces daughters friend Caroline who is visiting from Maryland! I really appreciated the baristas creativeness in mixing the two similar but different lemon smoothies we ordered. We didn't expect it but it was a fun surprise with every sip! So I got off work working the night shift all night and was craving an açai bowl! This little family owned shop was the only one open on my way home! I figured I'd stop in and give them a try as I walked in I was greeted by a super friendly employee rocking a Dodgers shirt, go Dodgers (ha ha) and she took my order super quick and super friendly. There was a few people who were waiting on their orders in front of me and the employee was still super friendly and professional and worked on getting all of our orders out in a timely and professional manner, they did have a few seating areas in the store where you could sit and enjoy your smoothie or your juice or your fruit bowls! They had a very big menu of smoothies, different juices, and different fruit bowls, that you could purchase and try! As I watched her, prepare my order of two açai bowls She was making everything fresh nothing was already premade everything was made from scratch and fresh! It was also a nice atmosphere to relax. There was some upbeat music in the background, but overall my first time there was an awesome experience was greeted when I walked in, was helped in a timely manner, and also pricing was reasonable. as my order was finishing up being made, the new owner walked in, and she was very friendly and welcoming, and greeted me with a good morning. Started a conversation with me as she began to help the other employee prep, and prepare more orders that were coming in will definitely be back to this small family owned business! Oh my I'm speechless the açaí bowl was so amazingly fresh and delicious from the fruit to the granola and even the yogurt tasted so fresh I kinda want another one! I will most definitely be back and highly recommend this place especially for the açaí bowl read more

This place was an absolute nightmare. I walked in and saw only a few people in the shop and some kids running around thinking it would be a great spot to quickly get a bowl and smoothie. After ordering, I was told my items would be right out. There were multiple kids in the store and I think the owners 2 kids were part of the group. The kids were running wild, screaming, and running into me the whole time. I tried to get passed it and just ignore the environment. It took 20 plus minutes for the açaí bowl to be ready with no one in front of us. After I got the bowl, the staff disappeared for another 10-15 minutes in the back room. Eventually one of them came out and asked if I was still waiting for anything and I had to remind them of my smoothie. They made it right away and it was a pretty disappointing smoothie. The bowl was also not great. Do not go here if you are looking for quality or are in a rush. read more

My first visit was excellent and Sam was very helpful and super friendly. Medicine bowl tasted great. She greeted me as I walked in and apologized for the wait, I did not wait long at all. My second visit 5-22 around 8:30am what sounds like the owner greeted me but the girl with brown hair did not greet me at the register. Just "Do you know what you want?" No smile the entire time. Like she was having a bad morning and definitely projecting it out. Handed me my order and when I said thank you and smiled she did not smile back just a thank you back. Overall I will be coming back here again for the bowls. read more

Service was trash not even a hello or thank you won't be coming back what a way to keep new customers learn customer service or get a new job ladies it's not rocket science. Friendly Family Run Cafe With Tasty Treats! I stopped in here when I was killing time waiting for an employee to meet me and he was running a couple hours late coming from LA to Indio. So this place looked like a cozy place to hang out and snack with some wifi while I was waiting. I got a Power Up Smoothie which was nice and healthy tasting and good. After an hour I also got a Pitaya Bowl over my 2 hour stay here. I took over the couch in the front corner and made it my office for part of the afternoon and everyone was super great. They gave me a lemon drop shot while I was there too and it was a wake up of powerful flavor in my mouth! 3 generations of the family who owns the shop were all there coming and going. I only wish they made wraps and some more food too since I was there a while... Lol... What are you waiting for? Stop in for something tasty! read more

Best bowls in the Coachella Valley. I'm not a connoisseur of bowls. I loved Backyard Bowls in Santa Barbara, a place btw that is 100x cooler than this ugly, boring desert dump, and her bowls are the most similar to theirs. Every other bowl I've had in the valley is a disappointment, like the Coachella Valley in general. I loved reading the posts by Karens boo hooing about masks 1yr ago. So damn pretentious. So many of us will look back at this Karens and feel shame. They really think they're saving lives trolling business's Yelp pages. It's so petty. I like their Açaí Bowls and Pitaya Bowls. What else can I say? Big serving sizes. They can improve elsewhere but who cares? Do these trolls really think that they're professional restaurant reviewers? read more

Whenever I try I new juice place, I always order the pitaya bowl. In my opinion, if you go wrong there I wouldn't trust anything else on the menu. So I ordered their large pitaya bowl and my friend ordered the snickers protein shake. Decor was very welcoming and the staff was nice. Seating was really cool, there was high top bar-like seating, tables with chairs, and even a couch! My pitaya bowl was delicious! Had fresh sweet fruit, flaxseeds, honey, and crunchy sweet granola! Accidentally ate the whole thing in one sitting... lol and the snickers protein shake was great too! Very creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet or chocolatey. Noticed they had an entire espresso bar! Would definitely stop by again to try those products some other time. read more

The attitude of the employees here is always low-key aggressive. It's crawling with cops. Nothing seems clean. They're anti-maskers and allow their customers to have no mask. A cop was in here with no mask handing out stickers to kids when I walked in. The kicker is when a regular came in and ordered, so the employee stopped making my order to do hers! So the regular got hers first and just walked out. I'm still standing here waiting for my order. The employee said they are waiting on lemons -- how can a juice place be out of lemons at 9:00 AM on a Friday when half their drinks include lemon juice? Since the product is only mediocre, juice had a dirt taste, I'm not coming back. They should have more sense than they do. I guess I should have been able to tell by the tacky decorations how bad this place would be. read more

We were traveling through Palm Desert, looking for something healthy, and stopped here for a protein smoothie and a Pitaya bowl with fresh fruit and granola. Everything was fresh and super tasty. The owner was kind and everyone was sweet and generous with the servings and toppings. What a great way to stay healthy during flu season by choosing these delicious choices over fast food. I love a healthy Açaí bowl and this was really good. I'm gluten free however and the granola is not gluten free so make sure to ask if that's important to you. I noticed they added artificial vanilla syrup and agave so it was sweet and good, but if you're avoiding artificial sweetener ask to withhold. Friendly service and nice vibe. read more

Juicy juicy is not only has a delicious menu, but the owner, Karen, is incredibly knowledge, helpful, and welcoming into her establishment. The key menu items are: 1) The Spicy Tang - anytime a friend/family member gets the sniffles we instantly grab one of these. 2) The Bulletproof Coffee - I think I have tried almost every version in the Coachella Valley...and this is the only one I didn't throw in the garbage. My review is based on the 2 experiences I've had. The price is pretty high but just knowing almost all of their products are organic makes it worth it to me. Both times I was served by the owner, Karen. First time I ordered a juice and today I ordered a white mocha Macchiatto (half the sweetner) and an Anthony juice for my 1 year old (per their recommendation and btw he LOVED it). It took half a minute to be greeted but they were in the middle of making orders so no biggie. My Macchiatto was still to sweet for my preference and Karen remade it to my liking, no issue. If anyone knows anything about Karen you know she's a passionate advocate for all things natural and i love that! That is one of several reasons why she had my business and support. read more

I just recently got out of the hospital and i came into juicy juicy and the young blonde girl i believe her name was page helped me get a drink that would fill my tummy considering i cant eat solids at the moment. She told me about the detox program they have. I told her i might have to talk to my doctor before hand but all in all she gave me very good information about the detox program. She assured me that they did not make any of their drinks with milk/dairy. She really knew what she was doing and the drink she made was out of this world. This place is a great little find! The acai and pitaya bowls are so good! They're great midday snacks, especially when you want to get out of the summer heat. They are refreshing and healthy. The smoothies here are genuinely the best I've ever had. The girls that work here are so friendly and very efficient. I called Juicy Juicy 30 min before they closed because my team needed a healthy option. Wasn't the best timing but one gal single handedly made sure my girls were taken care of. She was solo and it was the end of the night. I cannot thank her a Juicy Juicy for working past closing time to make sure my girls had a healthy option after a game. They offer a great variety of antojitos, and another favorite of mine is their Hot Cheetos with cheese. I don't believe it's listed on the menu, but they've always been willing to make it. One thing I really appreciate is how flexible they are with substitutions and add-ons. They also offer three different types of mangonadas. While they're all delicious, I do wish they offered a more traditional frozen mangonada with chamoy. For frequent visitors like us, they have a rewards program where they punch a card with each purchase, and on your 10th visit, you get a free item of your choice. It's a nice bonus for loyal customers. The only downside is that the inside is fairly small, so seating is limited. There are only a couple of tables outside with a handful of chairs, so finding a spot can be difficult during busy times. We usually take our order to go, so it hasn't been an issue for us. Parking directly in front of the shop is very limited and almost always full, but there's plenty of additional parking available across the street within the same plaza. Overall, Mangos has been one of our favorite spots for years. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are great, and we always find ourselves coming back for more.
