This is a cute spot that offers Mexican snowcones. It was a hot day so we opted to come by. There is limited parking in the front and could be tricky getting in as there's no street that drives directly to it. We got the mangonada which had slices of canned mangoes and a few tamarindo spicy candies to go with it. My daughter enjoyed it. It was pricier then I would have thought a snow cone would cost. $10 for a large. The employees were very nice and pleasant to talk to. read more

I never write reviews you can call me petty and a Karen but people should not act like this especially if I came to you with nothing but respect . I ordered my usual strawberry with lechera and it literally tasted and smelt like vomit not sure if it was the lechera that went bad or over ripened strawberries I called to ask the lady if there was anyway they could remake or replace with a different flavor no answer which is understandable since they had a line so I decided to go in and talk to them and take back the raspa as soon as I said something about the raspa tasting funny the lady's face changed walked away told told the man (owner I'm guessing) what I had said , he says with attitude just give her her money back lady walks to the back brings out $10 bill and basically throws it on the counter and says here's your money back it's ok not even hearing me out I look at her and say ma'am, I'm not asking for my money back , but when I tried to explain to her that I called to ask them if they could do something about it before hand so I wouldn't get embarrassed she dismisses me by saying "everyone have their taste" the "costumers are here to show you that the Raspados are good" and I told her no I apologize if you think I'm coming here to fight or argue with you all I'm saying is that the raspa taste spoiled I know they are good I've been buying the fresa with lechera each time I buy from them but this time it taste like VOMIT and I don't want my money back I just want a different flavor and if that's not possible I'll take my loss after that she just kept speaking over me making sure that the other people can hear when she says he's ur money back I didn't want to keep arguing with a old lady so I took my money Back and called it a day I will be taking my business elsewhere I wish the video was 4d so you can smell what I smelt/ tasted read more

This family run shop is miles and miles ahead of any raspados place in indio and coachella. I have visited most if not all of them in the past 10 years and nothing compares to Raspados Esmeralda. I am wary of reviews here that exaggerate but i assure you i do not when it comes to to this. I have had fresa, limon, and tamarindo raspados from here. The man here must make the syrups or mixes himself because they are consistently tasty and not heavy on the artificial sweetener. I also recommend the agua mineral with limon drink it is an excellent refresher. As a bonus if you get the man to tell you a joke you will get him to flash that chesire cat grin of his!
