A few weeks ago, after some painful dental work, I wandered in. I noticed that they had chili. I'm always looking for good chili. I asked for a bowl, but the young lady taking my order asked if I wanted the combo with fries and a soda. Sure! Less than $10 for this combo. You get a huge basket of freshly cooked crinkle fries, a large soda, and a decent sized cup of chili. The chili isn't chunky, more like a canned type chili, but with better flavor. They add onions, cheese, and cilantro on top. It is a filling meal, for sure. I've gotten this combo a few times now. They have other things on the menu, but the screens scroll kinda fast, so I'm not sure of all the offerings. I think I saw fish and chips and a burger, maybe tacos? I love that there are food offerings and not just ice cream options. Their ice cream prices are a bit on the pricey side. Service is good. Seating area is kinda 50s, kinda mod, but it is clean. INDIO's BEST MALTS! Lique is a hidden gem nestled inside Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino. It's known for its ice cream, frozen yogurt, shakes, floats, malts, sundaes and amazing American fare. I've tried different items each time and all of them have been phenomenal. The ice cream is amazing, the shakes are nice and thick, and my recent malt was one the THEE best I've ever had. Malts can be made with ANY ice cream flavor that is available. I had mine made with cookies and cream, a major recommendation from me! The malts were $8 bucks each, it's a bit pricey but they use some of the best ingredients that I didn't even care! I've tried the food and it's also mouthwatering. There were good-sized hotdogs, pizzas and burgers available. The place is always packed and with good reason. The staff are super friendly and professional. The ladies working the front registers were cashiers AND order trackers. I appreciated that they were nice and loud when my order was ready! It's louder in here so it's very helpful. My order came out fast. I spotted plenty of seating areas, however since it's always packed it's hard to find a seat for a group, let alone one person. I came here for late night dinner. I shared tacos with carne asada and cup of chili. Prices were reasonable, and portions are generous. Chili was well seasoned and hot, perfect for a chilly evening. Carrots that were served as a side to tacos were also delicious...vinegary with a hint of sweet. The tacos were also good; very large...probably the size of 1.5-2 street tacos. The only issue was that the meat was rather dry. They also use Mission Tortilla style corn tortillas rather than street taco corn tortillas. Overall, I would eat here again at this fast casual establishment if I'm in the area. Their Ice cream is humungous - 1 scoop is good for 2 people (for me) and every time I ask for 1 scoop I always tell them to stop putting in more because it's too much. It can be super packed and then so empty sometimes that even though they have plenty of tables and chairs you might not find one so maybe come here at a nonbusy time. The service was terrible, we were waiting there was only 1 customer there and we were deciding what ice cream to get in front of the ice cream. The employee named Samantha then told us she would be with us in a moment. A line then started forming And after she was done with the first customer she then told us there was a line and to go to the back while knowing we were there first and she had a negative look towards us the whole time. When we ordered the ice cream she then got the order wrong and was even rude about that too she even threw the ice cream aggressively and was rude the entire time. They have one of my favorite deep fried sides, tater tots! However, I'm dinging a star simple because you can't substitute them for the fries that come with your burger. I'd even pay $1 or so more, but no, so I ended up getting both fries and tater tots. The burger wasn't bad and my lunch partner loved the breakfast sandwich. I've ordered them all, and they were all good. Luckily, I get free food credit for gambling at the casino, so it's all free for me. Otherwise, you would pay $15 for this combo which includes french fries and drink. This place also has ice cream, which people seem to like. Service is always good. If you come during a concert night, then expect none of the tables to get cleaned; it will be packed since the concert arena is super close by. Was a guest at the Fantasy Springs Resort from 6/12/19-6/14/19. Was happy to find an ice cream spot in the casino. First thing my fiancé Noticed was a lot of fly's buzzing around. We ignored them and headed to the counter. The young lady working there was not friendly at all. No greeting just asked us what we wanted. As she was making out sundaes we Noticed more and more flys:( we had to leave the establishment because the flys were trying to get in our ice cream.
