Just use the map on Yelp, go down the side street closest to the address on Ramon, and turn into the back side of the many businesses. I looked for it for weeks, and am glad I didn't give up. When I walked in, I was greeted with a high energy smile and welcome. It was later in the morning, do some choices were taken, but there was still a lot to choose from. My favorite, the apple fritter, was huge, and the traditional donuts had a variety of glazes and all of them had sprinkles. I ordered my fritter and a couple of donuts, since there are only two of us, but the friendly owner tossed in an extra fritter and a couple more donuts, all for about $9.00. We sampled them all at the homestead and they did not disappoint. Tasty, not too, too sweet, fluffy when it was called for, denser in the fritter, which was in my top three, all time. My only regret is that we are only visiting for an extended stay and return home soon.

He arrived a few minutes early and went inside to wait. The man behind the counter asked what he wanted to order, and Joe politely explained that he would wait to order until his friend arrived in about five minutes. The employee told Joe that he could not wait inside unless he was ordering ice cream immediately. Joe again explained that his friend was almost there, but the man nastily told him to wait outside instead. My husband, not wanting any confrontation, went outside and stood in 104° weather waiting for his friends. When they arrived, they all went inside and still spent about $25 on ice cream. What upsets me most is that there was no apology, no explanation, and the store was completely empty at the time. Nobody should be treated this way, especially over simply waiting a few minutes for a friend inside an ice cream shop. I will absolutely be contacting the manager or owner to understand why this happened. I can also guarantee that I will never recommend or return to Monster Shakes after hearing about this disgraceful treatment of my dear husband.
