Decided to take my two children there today after school for a nice little treat on such a hot day. We got there around 2:20pm and walked in and the only guy working said hi to us. There was maybe 1 other set of people sitting eating their ice cream in there when we got going staring to get ours. My kids are 4 & 7 and this is actually their 2nd time experiencing a self serve ice cream place. They were very excited to get started making their own treats. Everything was going good until we got to the topping station (Remember we are the only ones using it) My kids were telling me and showing me what the wanted along with my reminding them not to point or touch anything. They need help being reminded since the are new to this and excited but they did a good job considering they are still new to it. Well the guy working came over while we were trying to get our ice creams together only to reach across and grab the spoons and keep setting them straight while we were using them. At first I thought maybe he was just trying to keep up with the place being cleaned but then I realized he was literally standing there the whole time with us using it and kept reaching over and grabbing the spoons. One time he almost touched our hands since we weren't even done with the spoons, I've never had something so rude or passive aggressive while getting a frozen yogurt. This was really unfortunate since I wanted to keep coming back but I don't think we will come to this location and be treated that way again. Maybe he only wants snowbirds there and not people with kids. I have no idea because I think getting frozen yogurt is a family friendly experience typically but it definitely wasn't for us today. The store is clean and the staff are always nice. They have outside seating area which is very relaxing at night. Yogurt and toppings are always fresh and restocked at all times. My current favorite flavors are plain tart, cheesecake and dragon passion. read more

Now, nothing will ever take the place of the Plain Original Tart-it has my heart and will forever be my all-time favorite! But I recently tried their Passion Guava Tart, and wow... it's out of this world! So refreshing, perfectly tart, and absolutely delicious. I'm crossing my fingers it sticks around, but with summer flavors, I get that it might be seasonal. The service here is always fast and friendly, and the shop is consistently spotless. I actually counted at least 32 people come through the door in just one hour-clearly, I'm not the only one who's obsessed! In the fro-yo world, every minute counts... Keep it up! It seems difficult to screw up serve yourself yogurt, but I'm sorry, this place kind of does. Walking in there I see a store that looks like the inside of a highway gas station snack store, and the smell of Fabuloso cleaner is searing my nostrils. The selection of flavors is quite good, with enough to satisfy my pleasures to mix, and there was a good amount of toppings to choose from. I had my size small cup weighed and gasped at the $18.50 price - it's not like I ordered a steak! There is another yogurt store on Highway 111 just a few blocks away with a name I won't mention that is far superior in decor, vibe and quality, and the same size yogurt would be $12.50. I had to eat my yogurt in the car because this store smelled like a freshly cleaned hospital bathroom (although they won't let you use theirs at this eatery), and it was too hot to sit outside on their small entry patio. The young man that works there is very nice so I have to give 3 stars for that. We LOVE yogurtland. They always use fresh and REAL ingredients to make their yogurt, and you can taste the difference. We especially love their plain yogurt. Unfortunately, the quality of the yogurt deteriorates quickly when not kept at the right temperature. The yogurt at this particular franchise was just that. The yogurt was served super watery. So, by the time we decorated our yogurt with all our toppings and paid for it, our yogurt was already melted and distasteful. A huge bummer. After going to other locations while visiting other cities, we realized that this location has a very high price per ounce, most are .79 cents per ounce. This one seems to be over a dollar per ounce, and their machines put out partially melted froyo everytime. read more

I used to love the Yogurtland in the San Fernando Valley. I loved the one in Indio several years ago as well before it closed. They both were clean and kept up well. This location is the pits. Barely any flavors and it melts way too quickly. More importantly, the outside area is often dusty and there are always flies swarming around constantly, day and night. If they would clean the outside floor and scrub the filthy cement, it might help. The businesses on either side have clean cement in front of them. Just once I'd like to eat my yogurt without being bothered by flies. Disgusting. Pay someone to power wash your outside cement area. A community park is cleaner. read more

Stopped in to buy some Yogurt and the AC wasn't working and more than likely neither was the yogurt machine because as soon as I poured the yogurt it melted. Nonetheless, I was charged $5 for melted ice cream. Having an employee work under those conditions I'm sure it probably against health regulations. Management or the owner should have really closed down for the day while their AC is repaired instead of selling yogurt in a hot sauna. read more

They had a good verity to select from. Like other shops you can taste them first. I suggest not to go to (Yogurt Island). They have plastic gloves at the door they want you to put on. There is no samples. I was so uncomfortable. Go Yogurtland. You can feel like you can breathe. read more

16 flavors, not always the same every time which is kinda nice. $0.45 / oz. good variety of toppings. They even have a rewards card for the returning customers. I always get mochi as a topping every time I get froyo & although the taste in the inside is ok, the outside tastes like its caked with flour. Their mochi topping isn't on my top 5.
