This place is always consistent. The ice cream quality is great, and they offer a solid variety of flavors. I love when ice cream actually comes with toppings that make sense -- the cookies and cream has real cookie pieces and chocolate, not just a hint of flavor. That attention to detail goes a long way. I usually get mine in a regular waffle cone. It comes out to about eight bucks, a bit pricey. Came on a Friday night. I thought it would be a little busy but it wasn't So many ice creams to choose from, they also have drinks, and little popsicles. I got the banana and lavender which was actually pretty good. I didn't like the big chucks of lavender in it. The only part that I didn't like was as the cashier was really rude. This boutique ice cream place in a really nice restaurant shopping area that had the hanging lights everywhere. Kind of place you relax at after dinner. They offer great options like date ice cream, and pistachio vanilla. I'm a sucker for anything with dates in it, so I love it when an ice cream place offers that. We stumbled upon this place while strolling along Old Town Quinta. Kids wanted some ice cream to cool down in the heat. Jenny greeted us as we enter the business. So many options to choose from menu. My daughter picked simple flavor as vanilla with sprinkles on top and my son had the watermelon sorbet. So delicious! Prices were really reasonable. All fresh ingredients made for your enjoyment. We were able to see the process of ice cream being made. Very intriguing! Next door you were able to sit down in the ac to enjoy your ice cream. Really calm and quiet area. I really love the pistachio with olive oil flavor. It's better than normal ice cream. It's not overly heavy pistachio tasting-- almost more sweet cream. The texture is light but compacted. Imagine ice cream cake but much lighter. The ladies who helped us were very nice and described the method upon us entering. There's seating inside and outside to accommodate different sized parties. I love ice cream always, but I dunno, I really liked and appreciated this flavor and the way it was made had to be the reason why I liked it so much. Would definitely go again! read more

I thought overall this place was good with the selections, but just not great. I had the pistachio ice cream (small) in a cup with roasted pistachios on top. Although it had some pistachio flavor and with the ones on top it helped, I have had much better pistachio ice cream. We visited on a Monday around noon. The store as well as the plaza were kind of dead. There was only one girl working there and she was helpful. She informed us that besides the specialty items on the wall, they also have simple plain flavors. Honestly, there weren't many options, but I guess they make those really well. We had the salted caramel and the mint chocolate chip in a cup. Both were refreshing without too much toppings covering the ice cream. Sometimes that can get overwhelming. A fun cold treat during the hot desert months. I don't have a big sweet tooth but even this ice cream caught my attention and was a must try while in downtown La Quinta. The concept is fun and the ice cream is definitely tasty. Located in downtown La Quinta it's not hard to find this spot. There is usually plenty of parking behind the shops if the primary lot in the front is full. Walkable from any of the restaurants really if you are craving dessert. The ice cream here is unique as it's made fresh before you and the flavors are creative and fun. My friend had lavender banana ice cream and I indulged in the strawberry cheesecake flavor. We both agreed they were tasty and a 5/5. Creamy yet not too heavy. One to two scoops is definitely enough though. The waffle cones also tasted fresh. Only docked a star as the ice cream parlor itself is kind of small and during the summer it gets packed. A little stuffy if you are inside and only enough space to have one group eat inside. Otherwise really everyone has to go outside which during the summer months can be brutal and the ice cream will melt fast. At least though they do provide a few tables and chairs outside so you don't have to necessarily take it to go. Also I wish they mixed in the add ons that come with some of the ice cream. They top the ice cream with add one which makes it hard to eat and messy. For example, my strawberry cheesecake ice cream was supposed to come with sliced strawberries and a syrup but with a cone and being outside in the sun I knew there would be lots of spillage. Not ideal so I had to opt to remove those toppings. If they could mix it in that would surely be an upgrade. Otherwise the ice cream flavors are good enough on their own that you'll be happy but definitely wish I could have tried the few flavors that come with toppings more conveniently. read more

WOW!!! This was such an enjoyable experience! Now we know why the line stayed long even after we got there!! The ice cream very good and flavors organic and delicious! But I have to say, the 3 young people serving this fabulous ice cream were some of the hardest working young people I have seen in a long time! No more fooling around. The theatrics is pretty cool. The lady explains what the nitrogen does to the ice cream and just started blasting cold smoke. We got the chocolate espresso in chocolate waffle cup. Pretty good. Better than dreyers. It has bits of chocolate and coffee beans which gives nice texture. The cone makes the eating experience more fun too. The guy said the most popular flavor is salted caramel. But I think we're happy with our selection! This ice cream shop is located in the plaza with like 5 different restaurants. Walkable. We came in and were very excited for our kids to see this way of making ice cream. There were two ladies working who looked and acted miserable being there. We said it was our first time and they just smiled a little. As the one lady started making the ice cream she stopped too smell the base a few times. This was very off putting and we all questioned the quality of the ingredients after that. No one's ice cream was exceptional. And half my kids threw out more then half. If you've never had ice cream made with nitrogen, you have to try this spot- this place was the best! The workers were really friendly and the service was quick! There were quite a few parties who ordered before me, but I didn't feel like I was waiting too long. It is a small space, so there are tables outside of the shop too. I tried the banana lavender and it was amazing! I thought the banana flavor would overpower the lavender, but it surprisingly both flavors shined through. It was really creamy and smooth.
