Located just outside of the AMC Ontario Mills theater, operating out of a small, unassuming airstream trailer, you'll find Perfect Pint. My best friend swears by this place and I'd never tried it before. The owner was out and about talking to customers and was super welcoming and friendly. My best friend ordered a couple pints of their sugar free option, which is sweetened with monk fruit and even has a whopping 24 grams of protein! Wow! They had a couple of specials this evening, off the menu: pb&j sandwich and a chocolate covered strawberry with strawberries from Santa Barbara and white and dark chocolate morsels. Yes, please! I had to go with the chocolate covered strawberry and it was incredible! You can definitely tell they use high quality ingredients. I won't hesitate to pick up some pints for the family in the future! Great find! read more

It was OK! I ate it immediately after I bought it, but it had a little bit of frostbite, which is strange because the girl said if it melts you can refreeze it. I would be willing to try another flavor but for $13 for a "half a pint" (aka 1 scoop) it scoop it won't be any anytime soon. Service was good tho! read more

I love ice cream and it's variants.  Frozen custard is a variant I don't see often.  Perfect Pint advertises its frozen custard as the richest, creeamist and most decadent at 18% milkfat.  That sounded tempting so I visited their Palm Desert location on El Paseo.  I found Perfect Pint's Airstream trailer near a mall entrance.  They don't offer samples and it was $20 a pint so I opted for the safe choice. Perfect vanilla bean was rich and creamy.  I loved the sweet vanilla bean flavor which was complimented by a rich egg flavor.  This is one of the best french vanilla type ice creams I've had. Staff was nice and efficient.  The Airstream trailer is cool.  Next time I'm in town I'll have to try some more flavors. read more

Perfect Pint completely surprised me. Even on a chilly 57° afternoon, their custard was the perfect treat. I am not a big sweets person and definitely not a fan of blackberry, but Mackenzie recommended the Lemon Blackberry Streusel and said it is one of their best flavors, and she was so outgoing and funny that she completely brightened the day. Customer service was amazing and cute little airstream located in the middle of the shopping mall. My only concern was the flavor we had the horchata mazapan and the flavor wasn't good. You know when it's too much of one flavor you can't finish it? But the coconut sherbet with the caramelized pineapple was a winner so we just shared that. Unfortunately you don't get to sample flavors they should really change that so customers can make better flavor decisions instead of just guessing and being unhappy with their choice. read more

We were excited to find a place that sells custard. The custard at the Perfect Pint sells for $20/pint......that equates to $160/gallon. That is outrageous! The custard was not very good. We ordered the vanilla, and it was grainy. Custard should be creamy in texture. Tillamook ice cream is WAY better, and a quart can be bought at Ralphs for $6.....which equates to $24/gallon. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more
