I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. The other woman making the smoothies never looked at me but had the same sour face. I rarely encounter a vibe like this but it was very off-putting. There was the sound of children screaming behind a door in the back like they were in pain, it was so weird. I'm sure they were playing but still. Lastly, there was almost no air conditioning to speak of and this is on a day that is maybe 85 degrees but inside the store it felt swampy. I am giving it 3 stars for the decor and the fact that the smoothie was delicious (24 oz. for a bit more than $12). There is no way I'll ever go here again because those women gave me the big time ick. This store made me realize how very important it is to have a good customer service experience. No matter how good the product is, sour service will put me off ever doing business there again.
