SHORT ANSWER: Yes, a great small business offering excellent options. LOCATION: In a retail / business center with lots of parking. FACILITY: Minimal TI buildout but good enough not going over the top with expense. There are a few seats and tables inside and a few outside, but minimal. MENU: I don't know what to say, I was a bit overwhelmed with choices and then options, this was my first visit so maybe menu is normal... FOOD PREP: Very well done, with care, nice presentation. FOOD QUALITY: Matcha Creme Latte $6.67 with Sea Salt foam with boba. WAITSTAFF: very nice and did not rush me as I had really no idea what I was ordering. OVERALL VALUE: wow, I think a great value and I will return, because it was very good, people were nice, but it also seemed like a great value. Lots of fun and cool drinks. They still have seasonal drinks so my friend got a gingerbread chai...I think it was and she said it was delicious. I had the opt for something with no sugar and tried the roasted oolong, but that didn't taste great so they changed it for the Jasmine tea which was so much better and I got to enjoy that with my friend while we played Jenga and vibed out to the awesome playlist they were playing. There was one point where we both got up and started dancing a little bit... That was fun. Great service! We'll be back. I've been going here from time to time and usually get the matcha or jasmine tea. This time, my mom tried the strawberry matcha, but it wasn't as good. It tasted a bit more sour than sweet and the strawberry didn't really complement the matcha. The service was pretty fast since we were the only ones there and it's still a good place to go for boba in Palm Desert. It's also a fun place to hang out since they provide board games. Great place to pick up drinks! Service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. They have a huge variety on their menu and I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee as well as the Matcha. I love how sturdy their cups are and that they have large sizes available as well. Our drinks were made to order quickly and can be customized your liking. I was craving a Taro boba milk tea and tried this place for the first time. Everything looked so good so I got 2 drinks (one Taro and one Strawberry Matcha). I wish they had options to sample before buying. The Taro milk tea was amazing and I love the honey boba on the bottom. The strawberry matcha was recommended by the worker with the strawberry popping boba and it was not good. I usually love matcha but didn't like the earthy flavor. Also, the popping boba was not the same as traditional boba. Overall, I would go again. The place was really cute! While we waited they had games to play which was awesome while waiting! This place used to be good but I think because they are training new people the drinks aren't as good as they used to be. Great drinks, well balanced in sweetness and flavor and most importantly, soft chewy honey boba. This was my first time here and so I tried their taro hokaido blended with boba , taro blended and strawberry milk tea with strawberry boba. This place has a bit more variety in boba flavors which was a nice change as most boba places I go just has honey boba or brown sugar. Loved the sturdy containers with a straw cap. Decor of the place could use some warmth and color but it was clean. I will return to try more flavors. read more

Tea Be Honest, I don't recommend this place. We were so disappointed!! We specifically came here to try out new boba spots we haven't been to since we're not from the area and this was one of the top ones. Reviews and ratings were high and convinced us to come! They even had cute cups... but really, they're just all cup. We got there pretty early since we had a big day ahead of us and wanted to grab something for our trip. I still needed my coffee for the morning and settled on some kind of salted caramel cold brew since they didn't have very many selections, coffee-wise, on the menu. My bf usually gets the Hokkaido milk tea but they only had some kind of blended one with taro? He asked the young lady working there and she said they could do it. He went for their large cup since it was just so "extra" and out of the norm. It's a very tall and slim cup that is way bigger than your average large. We sat down and waited for our drinks which came out in a few minutes. I snapped some pics in front of their cute little vine wall decor up front and then started drinking it. It tasted like it had gone bad? I don't even know how to describe it. It tasted like there was no coffee at all, pure sweetness, and just overall tasted off. I even ordered extra boba because that's how I like it. The boba had a nice texture, nothing crazy but that's about the only good thing about the drink. I ended up not even taking another sip and dumping it out. I bought an iced latte from another cafe and added the boba into it to try to salvage it. It wasn't perfect, still had that weird flavor lingering but at least I could have some boba in my drink. My bf drank a bit of his but even that was pure sweetness. No tea. It had NO TEA. I'm not sure what kind of brew they use for their drinks, we noticed some said dairy free and we avoided those specifically because we've had bad experiences from other places that offered that. Something just isn't right. Maybe that's how most boba places are around here and that's what everyone is used to? So sad!! Y'all need to get better boba places out here. We're from LA where there are a ton of different ones but they're good and at least drinkable. Sad to leave a 1 star on a boba place. i thought the boba was super good. it was very chewy and soft and delicious. but the milk tea had a weird flavor in the jamsine milk tea. i don't know why but i think it was the sweetener they used? more honey-ish flavor? idk. the service was very fast-it took like 2 minutes!! i liked the ambiance in there and there was lots of seating and fun games u could play such as monopoly and jenga. read more

I loooove this place. We don't have many milk tea or boba places in the Valley so I love that I can go and that we now have two locations. The staff is always super friendly which I appreciate. They have great recommendations as well if you're not sure what to order. It's a nicely decorated place with about 4 tables to enjoy your beverage and they offer board games. The sizes seem GINORMOUS but they give you a lot of ice unless you say otherwise. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will be absolutely perfect for you. I like the chocolate milk tea with creme brulee or matcha milk tea with creme brulee. read more

For the very few boba/tea shops in Palm Desert, this place isn't bad. The drinks are on the sweater side though so maybe ask for less sweet if you don't like things super sweet. My friend got the matcha latte and said it was good. I got the ice blended with mango and strawberry 50% sweet. It tasted a bit watery but I appreciate it wasn't overly sweet. The tea flavor was there too. I would say it's worth a stop by if you're in the area. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. read more

We had just finished a hike nearby and I wanted some boba afterwards. This place was pretty close, so we decided to check it out. The menu is huge and so overwhelming!! We finally chose our flavors for our slushes and got the passionfruit and guava, blueberry and lychee, and honeydew and lychee. I liked that there was a wide variety of flavors to choose from and that you can chose up to 2 different ones! Mine was the passionfruit and guava and it was delicious and so refreshing! I got the crystal boba and it had the perfect consistency. Not only did the drinks taste great, but they were colorful and pretty as well. They need to have another location in SD! read more

I sure wish Montana had a place like this! We were looking for some tea while on a recent trip to Palm Desert, and we stumbled upon Tea Be Honest. The reviews were all pretty good and it was less than a mile from where we were, so we decided to stop. Both drinks we ordered were delicious! They even come in a cup that can be reused. Let's just say we brought them both back to Montana with us. All the items on the menu looked so good so it made it hard to choose. We will definitely be heading back here on our next trip to the desert. read more

Pretty good place to get your boba fix, with lots of good flavors to choose from. I love the blended taro/hokkaido smoothie with boba. I also appreciate the fact that they can reduce the sugar level on your drink as well. Not totally diabetic friendly, but better to try one with less sugar than no drink at all. The vibe is casual, family friendly and good music usually. The staff always hustles to make your drinks fast, but it also slightly compromises the customer service, which is somewhat understandable, but that's the reason why I took away a star. But the overall experience is good. I think this is also in a pretty busy spot in Indio. When I go, it usually has a good crowd of people. And that usually means the business does well. read more

Wide selection of teas and friendly staff. Their tapioca had great texture, not too hard or too soft, really some of the best I've had. I found the default level of sweetness to be a bit higher than I'm used to in the Hokkaido, it masked the flavor of the tea. It was still very enjoyable and I'll know next time to reduce the sugar level. read more

Sorry to say that Tea Be Honest was a miss for me. I came in on Sunday night New Year's Day and they had a flow of people coming in and leaving. I ordered two regular Dirty Milk Teas, one with boba and another one with egg pudding. I did ask for 75% sugar level (which may have thrown off the drink). Unfortunately both milk teas were really overthrown by the creamer. It had more creamer than tea ratio. Could've have been a one off. read more

It was a really good first impression. Also Black Sesame is one of my absolute favorite flavors I always order for any dessert. Now fast forward to now, I'm back here for a visit. When we got inside it wasn't busy at all. Service was friendly and helpful. When I walked inside to see their Taiyaki soft serve options, I was pretty disappointed. They only had three flavors available. And I have to be honest, the flavors didn't interest me. It was just Vanilla, Green Tea, and I think Chocolate? Maybe a Mango flavor too which seemed seasonal. I'm sure they were good but the ice cream section had flavors I wish were soft serve like Black Sesame and a milk tea one. We ended up getting their ice cream instead because they had a larger assortment of flavors. And when I tried the sample, the flavor was decent. Two years ago, my 5/5 stars was for my Taiyaki experience. Now it's 3/5 stars for the ice cream. I got the Black Sesame and Coffee ice cream scoops with the waffle cone. Flavor was there, the waffle cone was good, but the ice cream didn't blow me away by any means. I wish this place had more variety for their soft serve because it's worth the money for me. Most of my disappointment came from that I'd probably never have the Black Sesame soft serve Taiyaki again from here because I only had it that one time, and also there weren't any appealing flavors for the soft serve I would've been excited to try instead. I would not come back here for their regular ice cream, I'd just spend my money somewhere else.

A coffee with boba and a small tip ran me up almost $10 which is a little expensive for my taste but it IS a treat after all and not an every day buy. Of all the times I've come into this location they always seem to be warm inside and prefer to not run the AC. I tend to sweat a little bit which is a bit of a drag considering that they have tons of seating. I probably wouldn't drive to the river JUST for boba but if I'm in the area shopping in need of a pick me up to go this would be a good stop.

Sadler I'm leaving this review considering I really like the owners but I have a big concern with the tall girl and then another who works with her -both times I've gone in she has gotten my order wrong and she is very rude and condescending when telling her she made the drink wrong. She literally basically yelled at me and says we have the right to refuse service after years of going there and tipping at least 30% every time they've lost my business I will be going to another place I really hope the owner teaches these girls to be kind and courteous to the customers I've been loyal since the beginning but from now on I will take my business somewhere else!! read more

I've been here a few times now and honestly am not that impressed. Drinks are mediocre at best but satisfy my sweet tooth when I'm in the area. The past three times I've come here, including today around noon, there was only one staff member working. Taking the orders, making the drinks, answering questions, phone calls and trying to clean up all at once. I felt so horrible for him as he was so behind on orders, but was doing amazing and still providing amazing customer service. Shame on the business owner and management for not stepping up and coming in to help this young man. Not a good look for business to be consistently understaffed. read more

This is truly a gem in the valley. Yes the lines are long but it is so worth it. Try to come in the mornings and usually there's less lines. I've been to so many boba shops since I used to live in the LA area and I can tell that their drinks are made with high quality ingredients. Some of the drinks are even better than the LA boba shops. My favorite so far is the Hokkaido Milk Tea. Make sure to ask for half sugar if u don't like it that that sweet. read more

ZERO STARS -- 30+ MINUTES FOR A CUP OF COFFEE IS ABSURD…read more I waited more than 30 minutes for a freaking cup of coffee at Everbloom Coffee - Downtown. Thirty. Plus. Minutes. I literally wasted essentially my entire lunch break waiting for coffee. I don't care how good the coffee is--there is absolutely no world in which waiting over half an hour for a cup of coffee is reasonable or sustainable. People might tolerate this once because the place is new to them, they're curious, or they've heard good things. But how many people are going to repeatedly sacrifice 30-40 minutes of their day just to get coffee? Time is far more valuable than a cup of coffee. And that's the real problem here. This isn't just about being "a little slow." When a coffee shop requires this much time for something people specifically buy because it should be relatively quick and convenient, there is something fundamentally wrong with the operation. Whatever the bottleneck is--staffing, workflow, equipment, order volume, or the entire service model--it desperately needs to be fixed. You can make the greatest coffee in Riverside, but if customers have to surrender their entire lunch break to get it, what's the point? Everbloom seriously needs to rethink its business model and figure out how to handle customers efficiently. Otherwise, people may come once for the experience, but many simply won't come back.
